  • Still have this vinyl!!! Mine sounds MUCH better than this... guess I should invest in a record player one of these days.

  • this is a choon

  • king love this choon 4 ever

  • fu king love this choon 4 ever

  • Love this track so much - heard it once and now here and its nice to hear those vinyl scratches!

  • it is a scratchy lp, but it is a song worth hearing

  • I do remember them and saw them in concert in Folkestone here in the UK several times and they were a great band! Love the scratches by the way, must be vinyl?

  • i remember my dad having this on at a party a couple of times..... tried to find it for ages, lovin it :D

  • Great find. Remember the song, heard it all the time on the radio, but never knew who the band was.

  • I just met this band (and this album) back in 1981. "Take me to the future", "Strange little girl", "Everyday" (obviously) and "Crazy Oyster" are the tunes I remember most and still listen once in a while when I think of my high school days. Underrated band for sure.

  • Totaly underated; the first band I saw live, at 14 ( things were so different back then, I was old enough 'looking' to sneak back stage ) Shared some talks and a, well, cigerette, with them...

Never looked back... There music still inspires me at nearing 40...

Great band, like many in their time totally underated and 'point missed' for manufactured punk, rock, or whatever the latest youth fadism can be fed!

  • I mess the sound of the crackle on old records...

  • It's a song based on the Novel by Laird Koenig later turned into a film featuring Martin Sheen and Jodie Foster...

  • Sounds like you copied it from LP. It's officially on mp3 now.

  • cool song...check out my video " strangr girl "

  • Underrated band of all time.

  • This song and album played on my turntable countless times when I was 16 and living in Buffalo, NY

What great memories I have when I hear those songs again!

  • They remind me of 10cc - and I mean that as a compliment. Aren't they a Manchester band as well?

  • bunchie1966 you're right - they shared management with fellow Manchester band 10cc. Eric Stewart of 10cc produced this and their follow-up album. Vic Emerson of Sad Cafe later played keyboards with 10cc.

  • i was about five when my dad used to play this every day....it would freak me out!!! now i get the lyrics..haha!!! great solo!!!

  • they played at our college rag week ball just before everyday was a hit. Love this song. anyone remember the film with Jodie Foster that its all about?

  • When Stockport rocked...

    RIP Paul Young.
