DON'T GET A BLACKBERRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a storm 2 and Verizon has replaced it 5 times now in about a year and the set up on a blackberry takes SOOOOO long. Tech support had to call me back 6 times so they could try and figure out why they could not get it up and running. They got tired of replacing the phone every few months and so they send me a Droid X! SWEET!!! I hate blackberry. I would rather get a phone at Metro PCS than ever have another blackberry. I HATE BLACKBERRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Backlight timeout actually does make a difference. If you have your brightness set to 100 and have the timeout set to 5 seconds, it would be pretty much the same thing as having it set to 10 on brightness and 30 seconds on timeout.

i just shut off the LED Coverage Indicator. THANK YOU!! i hated that light, it was soo annoying, i didn't know how to shut it off.

and my phone had that little loading sign wayyyyyy too often (the little clock in the middle of the screen that means it's loading).. why is it doing that??

sometimes when i'm recieving a call, it freeze's as the person is calling me and i have to wait until the call ends for it to unfreeze. and then number becomes "Unknown Caller". any advice?

The LED coverage indicator is a basic LED that draws less than 1 milliamp. It will make no difference at all to turn that off.
