Super Smash Bros Brawl- Megaman X

I have a mini story to share with all of you. When I read in a magazine that Megaman x was being considered to be in brawl, i thought "YAY! i'm gonna buy this game and play it to death!" but 6 months later, no megaman, so I thought "WHAT!? right, that does it, im not gonna buy this or play a spec of it in my life, Nintendo, you suck." So eversince then i've never cared about it. What do you think? Will X make it in the next one?

Seriously Super Smash Brothers is a Nintendo franchise it should stick to Nintendo characters only, we don't need Megaman or any other third party character in the next super smash brothers game, putting Snake and Sonic were only in Brawl becasue the creator had a liking toward them, how does every one know he has a liking toward Megaman.

I think Megaman should be in there, but for the costume changes have Megaman X as one, Battlenetwork as the other costume and etc. , What I cant decide though is who the other megaman character they bring in with him, I mean Protoman, Zero, and Bass are all amazing characters, I mean they have 4 Zelda characters. But still. I doubt they would put in more than 2 megaman characters. Out of those 3 who would you pick to come in to SSB with Megaman if they ever do that is.

I'm against Street Fighter characters. That's an entirely different franchise. However, I'm all for having classic MegaMan in the game. X series is rather dark.  Comparible to Samus, though I don't think X fans would enjoy seeing him in the game as much as classic MegaMan fans. Besides, Mega has a history that is equal to that of most of the others in the Smash world, right up there with Samus, Sonic, Mario, and even the Belmonts. He deserves it.

I'd rather the classic megaman because he was attached to more systems of nintendo than X was. Don't get me wrong MMX4 was my first megman game and i loved it. Megaman is one of nintendo's first original superstars. He'd be up there with Mr. Game and Watch and Ice Climbers. But not as old or unknown (By younger payers) as ROB is.

MMX version of Zero will be fighting in Tatsunoko vs Capcom, but im mad X wasn't announced for that game either. it woulda been epic to team up X and Zero in a fighting game like that.

Agreed! Mega Man should have been in Brawl instead of Solid Snake...no don't get me wrong, I really like the MGS series; all of them, from MGS 1 to 4. And I understand that the very first Metal Gear games came out for the NES (MG 1 and 2) but the whole MGS franchise didn't become popular until it was released on the PS1.

No. I beleive X should be a character in brawl. Classic, Battle net, and Volnut (Ps & N64) Megaman have already been in a fighting game. Marvel vs Capcom, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, and Onimusa Blade warriors.

Megaman X and Zero deserve to be Smash characters more than the others. Plus the fact that the X series has way better Music.

@gr8gmr I 100 percently agree espically seeing as how Street Fighter has never once before had a game thats exclusive to Nintendo console unlike Megaman. Street FIghter IV 3DS verson doen't count because its just another verson of Street Fighter IV, and Capcom vs Tatsunoko is a Capcom, and Tatsunoko crossover games, it makes Ryu no more deserving of being in a Super Smash Brothers game then any other Tatsunoko or Capcom character.

When Super Smash Bros. Fight comes out in 2012, X is definetly gonna make an appearance, along with his good old buddy Zero. X is gonna be a projectile based character, with many similarities to Samus, but by no means a clone. Zero, on the other hand, will be sword based like Link. What they're gonna have to do is put out a survey for the most favorite learned techniques of both from their games. Both will have the wall-hop technique. X has an upward dash and Zero has an upward flaming sword.

I dont know what they were thinking, they put rob, wolf, and toonlink in but not megaman x. They could have given him two costumes like wario like maybe his reg armor and his falcon armor from megaman x 4-6. And his colors could have been sweet. And wolf, they got 3 clones for one character. I wouldnt mind them having a update after the game comes out or delaying it for megaman x. Also I would replace wolf AND toonlink (which could have been a costume) for megaman.

one of his taunts could be that pose that he does wen he beats a boss and he raises his arm nd den he teleports

his onscreen appearance (like wen mario appears out of a green pipe) could be him teleporting onto da stage

Well it was the Rockman X5 sad ending music, I used it since I was unhappy at the bad news of NO Megaman or Simon.

I was going to use something rocking and awesome like my video called Megaman X Firepower, but the theme was used for a purpose as you know now. Thanks again dude.

X would be fantastic. i've played all of the MMX titles (X4 being my fav) and the games are loads of fun! As much as I'd like to see X in the game, the original, in my opinion is just iconic. if megaman were in the game i'm sure developers would have gone with the original.
