i wish they'd treat this like a classic. it needs help. it's a beautiful ride, in a beautiful setting, but it's been neglected and modified (improperly). that's no way to treat one of the most important steel rollercoasters standing ..

@PHAEDRIDER i think six flags;s modifications is the reason why people dont view this as one of the greatest coasters ever built, which it is. It' was wayyy more than "just a loop" before six flags took over and started ruining it. i also think it looked much prettier when it wasn't forested. it really let you appreciate the simple, ellegant beauty of the structure

I miss the days when all you had was the lap bar. Now, I hit my head on the shoulder harnesses which takes the fun away! Revolution opened in 1976, Colossus opened up in 1978, Freefall opened in 1982 and Shockwave (RIP) opened in 1986. Thanks for the video, brings back many, many 80s memories!

I was camping with my Mom and Dad out in the Boondocks somewhere and my oldest sister, who was in her 1st year of college at the time, drove all the way out there to pick me up and take me to see STAR WARS. She had already seen it once, and just knew I was going to freak. She later confessed that she spent as much time watching my face as she did watching the movie. :~D

She said I was simply mesmerized, and at one point I spoke and said, "I HOPE THIS MOVIE NEVER ENDS"

I really love scary rides. I went on one with my ex girlfriend a few years ago at Seaworld on the Gold Coast in Australia which reminded me of that one. I was screaming and roaring like a madman and so was she. At the end she was a little shaky, but I felt so alive. I wanted to do it again. Guess I'm a big kid. Blessings +++ The Saint +++

It's better!! I can ride on every one of the new coasters, never a problem!! Yet, I ride this one once, and I feel like I was in a car accident! I mention this so if you guys visit this ride, it's a classic and alot of fun, yet you will have some neck problems the next day;)
