lestggr: I lost my solomon 2 1/2 years ago now and i still miss him dearly.

Willie just reminds me of Solomon, similar face with the beauty spot just above his nose.

Thanks for posting this video, it has brought back some great memories of my bully.

I always say, you haven't owned a dog until you have had an Enlish bull terrier.

there is a lot of love in these pics. looks like you gave eachother a great life. loss of a pup like that must have been so hard. he seems human. i think my dog is a bully mix, and she is a lovebug. however, i totally understand the need for a choker collar, they have very strong necks, and they are stubborn and defiant! my pup is virtually indestructible anyway. she is tough as nails and 100% sugar!!

Great video, i heard that Bullies are prone to deafness and blindness if the parents are both white and the pup is white but if they have a patch of colour they are fine? beautiful Bullie. :)

'looks horrible', it doesn't harm the dog at all. I wouldn't use something that would harm my dog; I'm not cruel.

And when you have a 65lb dog that is almost draggin you down the street, you need it. It was only for training him until he learned not to pull.

I've read it on wiki and on forums, just to be clear the 20% it's for the white bullies, for coloured ones it's 1,3%, however if the breeding is good the chances for deafness are really low.

Actually my bully didn't die. I had to give him up for adoption because I was going to school and he was alone for about 12-14 hours. It wasn't fair for him. It broke my heart but i wanted him to be happy.

The English and American bull terriers are two different breeds, there are two types of English bull which include the mini and standard, both are identical apart from their sizes. such a shame the English bullies get mistaken for other breeds all the time.

of course, is the mini the same as the American pitbull? obviously being from the Uk mine is an english bull terrier. She was born deaf and we have to keep her on steroids to keep her going mad, but she really is lovely :D

They are great, but you must be prepared because they are 24/7 dogs. They eventually calm down in terms of being hyper but man, it's a lot of work, adventures, and craziness. Must have plenty of time and dedication for them, especially exercise!! :)

haha. No dents on our fridge door, but we had dents on a big trash can, he just couldn't take those corners smoothly when doing his 'bully run'. He def yanked a lot of blinds down by putting his head through them. He loved staring out the window. We got vertical blinds instead, that worked perfect!

I actually don't have my bully anymore. None of us were home anymore so he spent hours alone in his crate, I didn't want to give him up but I wanted him to be happy. He's w/ a good family now and gets tons of walks a day. :)

That's really nice to hear, someone who knows when they can no longer take care of a dog properly and can give em up for the sake of the dogs health. I always hate to see those dogs on those rescue shows where they are locked up in a room and dont get any time to have fun. I'm sorry to hear about your loss
