hoye quisiera un simulador de mobimiento completo como ese me podrias decir en donde compro uno como ese y cuanto me puede costar gracias por tu ayuda.
@galindogarcia I dont understand you, but if you want this you have to build it yourself as there is no company that sells them. Visit x-simulator.de site for more information!
Excellent! Despite the negative comments, you are doing more than they are toward a richer experience with flight sim. Anything else that is labelled as "superior" to what you have will cost more... a lot more. They forget that if you are going to spend a lot of money on something, then it better be better.
What you have is infinitely more realistic than most of us with just the computer and a desk. Way to go. Excellent job, great ingenuity and wish I could make one too. Any plans for sale!
@HowardandElaine Thank you! You are one of the very few that get the bigger picture of this DIY hobby! Plans? Try Acesim dot com, and then download my instructions from the rapidshare link on my youtube profile to make it motorized!
Airste why so negative. I'm a big fan of fsx I've got the money to go for my licence but I'm fully colour blind so I can't so to ur question to this person he may have some problems what will not let him get his licence
It amazes me that someone who has that much interest in flying, would go through the time, effort and expense to make this elaborate yet unrealistic contraption instead of getting real flight training and a license.
When you make a steep turn in a plane, your weight increases due to the G force, but there is absolutely no pull side to side on your body. In the simulator, whenever it leans over to the left or right corresponding to the aircraft attitude in the simulation, gravity pulls you to one side or the other. I suppose getting jerked around in this thing could be considered fun, but it's totally unrealistic. It could concievably "fool the mind" if you happen to be a big enough fool to start with.
i wana make one of this , did you buy? i don't have idea how to creat....i love flight simulator but is kind of boring...this is so cool.....can you tell me how can i start to make my own?
Obviously you have a clue how to build motion simulators....do you have a clue how to fly??? Horrible. I found myself more disgusted with your flight aptitude than intrigued with the simulator.
I believe he's trying to show the technical abilities of his full motion simulator by flying in an extreme manner rather than demostrate that he can fly smoothly,
Read his comment, it's pretty clear that's his goal.
You can't possible simulate accurately all the motion of a real airplane. I have piloted a small TB9 Socata and I know how it feels. With this you can only fool the mind if the motion on the screen matches the motion of the chair... BTW Have you checked my other video before posting that?
Interesting device and the builder deserves credit for his ingenuity and effort. While this might add a thrilling new dimension to flight simulation at home, the "feel" or the physical feedback that this device gives is incorrect. The body is not pulled to the side by gravity in a real plane, there is only added pressure to the seat as a result of the G force in a coordinated turn. This could cause problems later if one decides to learn to fly a real plane where the feedback will be unfamiliar.
Yes, Its true! But if you make coordinated turn in this simulator, you will not be pulled in the sides either as in the real plane! I'm doing lots of uncoordinated turns in the video for showoff reasons... :-) I'm going to take some flight lessons soon to see myself the differences and adjust accordingly the simulator ;-)
PEOPLE !!! Sell those things and buy some flying lessons !!! It's worth it ... This thing is pretty cool, but feeling, that you can actually be held by the thin air above the ground is amazing ...
its not the whole flying part. its the same reason people build things with wood. you can say "well why don't you just become a carpenter?" but you don't have to be a pilot to be interested in electronics, robotics, engineering, etc. Can you imagine the feeling you'd get after YOU built on of those? No, you didnt buy it from a store, YOU made it. That feeling is just plain cool. Plus, you can sim fly anytime you want, but most of us dont have $90 to fly an hour every day : )
Offcourse, I didn't mean that this thing is stupid or anything but that I spent so much money since I was a kid for the flight simulation stuff and then when I started to fly in the real world it was just amazing. With the carpenter similee, you're right, I didn't want to touch anyone and I accept it's true :)
Yeah, it happened to meonce, that a picture from reall world flying somehow was mixed with my FSX pictures and I could'nt understand how Microsoft achieved such brillance :D
Could you mount a saitek or CH yoke and pedals, for the flying rather than a joystick? Would you have to do much different to the software/motors to get a yoke to work?
as you'll notice in other videos of tronicgr's he does have a racing wheel mounted. the same thing could be done with a yoke and peddles easily. the hardware that moves the simulator reads from the game, not from the joystick so you wouldn't have to change anything at all to make it work
hello, I am a student of aeronautical Sciences... He would like to know if you have instructions of as to construct this simulator of movement... He is possible to place 5 monitors for MultView of cockpit?
Plans an instruction of this DIY simulator will be available in mid-August on this address: w w w dot etherealsounds dot com.
An projector with projector screen will be less heavy to mount on it but If you want to go with 5 LCD displays you will have to use stronger motors...
geez, that crash landing flying was to demostrate the motion forces the pilot receives during a heavy weather flight even the ones when crash landing... :-)
I want it

This motion simulator is just for fun right? Because I don't see any real simulation movement according to what you would expect in a real plane.

I think we have different expectations of what we consider to be a simulator.

it does not look like it is calibrated, the sim seems to be ahead of the motion gear... or am i just seeing things????
