  • Get off the pharmacutical posion. I have had this for a long time. I do not medicate. You can grow to understand what is going down and adapt to it well to some degree anyway. Lifes better of the flat line life you have with the druggs. Fuck them I would rather be dead.

  • im relating to this well at the mo!

  • You look just how I feel

  • ...yeah, med adjustments suck. I'm usually useless for a couple of days afterwards.

  • see!!! this is exactly why i got off them years ago. I was depressed at the thought. but i don't know whats worse. feeling shell shocked from getting into arguments with people. Spending excessing money, maxing cards. Or that. I don't freaking know what to do!!!

  • I feel like that , I look at the pills everyday and think , these pills basically control my personality , if I stop I become someone else who is different and very ill.

  • this is why i refused medication... i hope your doing better.

  • i wish i could take something that doesnt make you gain weight; (ex:abilify)

  • you look so sick now.. .omg

  • Thanks for helping us to understand... seriously I appreciate it!

  • try to cut down,I know its hard, but its the best for you and your loved ones.

  • it sucks to see people on meds. are those meds helping???

  • You need to get off the pharms and get on the raw food lifestyle with herbal teas. For real.

  • @lovedubpt No peer reviewed evidence supports that nonsense. Conspiracy MORON

  • @lovedubpt if if this woman slits her wrists because of your sound advice, how would you feel?

  • there is no cure for bipolar got to find things to do

  • Thanks so much for putting this up.

  • However, this video actually does seem convincing that you´re on meds.

  • Btw you are NOT a nutball, you are unique with problems that you have to find a way to deal with. Many "normal" people have problems too, they just hide them better.

  • No tests for this "illness" they determine what drugs (toxins) to give you based on absolutely nothing!

  • @electrickabuki Well although there may be no empirical tests it does not mean mental illnesses do not exist. Many suffer from these illnesses every day. You're right about the meds, there is no way to know what will worrk except through trial and error. But lots of people do well with meds, and I have found meds that work for me as well so I am a believer.

  • @BipolarStateofBeing I cant believe how honest u r, its so refreshing.

    Ur soul is so sweet.

  • i had bipolar since i was fourteen stop taking meds at 18 years old now i m 26 i just handle it on my own

  • @hotron26 Sometimes that can be hard to do. That's great if you are able to manage without meds.

  • @BipolarStateofBeing Once you start with the anti-psychotics its very hard to go back to not using them........but now that they are long gone from my system i would never ever take them again.......i couldnt even watch tv on those things........i still feel like shit most all the time...but im way better off without anti-psychotics...they made me nuts....but everyone is different....your very cute and love your honesty

  • @hotron26 i wish i could do that.

  • @hotron26 ya me too man lmao.

  • @hotron26 thats great and all but obv you have a less serious form of this disease. if i stop taking my meds, within 3 days i will become psychotic. congrats and ann, but you come across and a bit patronising.

  • pray to God for help to live a normal life

  • I'm starting to think meds are not the answer. At all...I took lithium last night and I woke up with intense pain in my legs, my joints. It hurts sooo much. I'm limping around. I also feel like my soul/mind are behind a brick wall. Needless to say, don't want to try this crap again.

    Anyone experience this?

  • @EyesofGeisha I was on lithium and I woke up with excruciating pain in my leg and foot...I thought I was going to pass out.

  • the way u r feeling is hwy I don't take meds anymore.I just smoke weed & I'm great. :)

  • @rotnjhny I'm doing much better now. I'm not on lithium anymore...that's what I was taking when I made this vid. I'm on zyprexa now, which has worked wonders for me. I trust my doctor and therapist. I've been seeing them regularly for over a year now so I think they know me pretty well.

  • My gf went off her meds and slept with a homeless person, brought him in our bed and had sex while I was home and all that time she knew that I was home but had sex anyway, encoutered police and was taken by ambulance crew and dragged in the hospital psych ward. It was the confirmation she needed that she has bipolar and she needs to stay on her medication. Of course, it's different for everyone but that's just her story. Remember, you can not control your brain when it misfires.

  • @tkathryyn Wow what a sucky experience for you. Hopefully your gf is better and getting treatment now.

  • @BipolarStateofBeing ty for your concern, but I'm also concern for you if you experiment on going off meds. Some do well, but some are tragic. It just depends on the severity of your illness. Please be careful.

  • @tkathryyn could not have said it better myself.

  • I really wanted to thank you for your brutally honest videos. I got diagnosed as BP last week, but wasn't really sure about the diagnosis until I watched your vlogs. You showed me that how I was feeling is how you felt, too. Thanks, and blessings. :)

  • @01101010h So glad that my videos have helped you!

  • @BipolarStateofBeing

hi.. i have been diagnosed with bipolar active disorder and wondered if anyone can answer my question... what is the difference between b p d and b a d??? cheers

  • @TheRigger77 I assume by BPD you mean bipolar disorder, not sure what you mean by BAD?

  • You´re very beautiful young woman, dont fu*k up ur life using meds like risp.

    It will destroy your brain and drive you like zombie in long term;

believe me and find out more from internet that´s truth.

    Ask your doc/therapeut something else.

    I will pray for U.

    Take care !

  • @westerner74 I was actually on lithium when I made this video. It was by far the worst med I have taken, although I know it works great for some so I won't bash it too much.

  • I just want to give you props. You set out to open yourself up and shed light on the things you go through. And even on a low day, you stuck by what you set out to do. and I KNOW that had to take a lot out of you to do/post this video. kudos to you and good luck on your path. Im right there with ya! =)

  • @crazybeautiful3n Thanks, you're right, this was a tough day for me. But I've tried to stay up on making the videos and be as honest and real as I can.

  • I am supposed to take these meds but I can't. For over a year I told my pshyciatrist that they made me feel terrible and then I gotmyself off them and he began to say how well I was doing. I never told him I had stopped. JERK!!!!!

  • @JDUNNAGEable Wow, that sucks that you had a psychiatrist who didn't listen to you. I am lucky that my doc has been very caring and she listens to how I feel about my situation and tries to work with me.

  • are drugs worth it?

  • @AntiVenomFangX I think they are if you find the right ones. I was on lithium when I made this video and it was the worst med I tried. I'm on zyprexa now an have no side effects except for some weight gain, and it has worked very well for me.

  • @BipolarStateofBeing

i'm also asking about long term side effects. do you know the toll it takes on your vitals?

  • Those drugs made me feel way way worse, then i did without them

Its hard to stop takin them though, you have to go real real slow, cause the withdrawal from them breaks you

  • I want to try lamictal and paxil. What do you recommend?

  • @neoherrera101 That's something only your doctor could suggest since everything works different for different people. I personally have not had luck with either one of those meds but they may work better for you.

  • @BipolarStateofBeing Maybe I should just take the whole bottle of asprin and a bottle of vodka, I think that would do the fucking trick. This life is bullshittttttttttttttttttt

  • omg you look ..................spent

  • @rottentommy I know right? I look totally haggard here!

  • I was told to take Lithium 600mg,Lamictal 25mg,Seroquel 100mg at bedtime and Ambien for a backup sleep aid.I couldn't handle the zoned out dumbo lifestyle so I cut the meds exept the lithium (down to 300mg)and Ambien for sleep.I use high doses of Vitamins,Fish oil, and Ginkgo I'm still just alittle manic right now but I'm thinking over time my condition will improve,

  • You look like Cody Weber a.k.a. saturninefilms.

My point? Life is stupid. My proof? What I just wrote.

  • I've been on all the classes of drugs for bipolar and I USED to think that they made me fatigued, but it was in my head. A lot of us think too much about our meds and it causes placebo side effects. Yes, some meds are severely sedating, like Seroquel, but I take that at night and I wake up just fine in the morning. Lithium made me groggy for a bit, but then I grew out of it. We're all different, but once you get used to your meds, you should have only bearable side effects. If not, switch.

  • @LukeShetler Yeah, I think the key is just finding what works for each individual. It's weird how the same drug can react totally different with various people's chemistry.

  • Im sorry but I didn't catch the names of the medications you are taking and the amounts. I just started Lithium 300 mg once morning, once evening and 150 mg. Seroquil XR at night only. They started me out with very minimal dosages of the medications, but I had been on Seroquil XR 50 mg before when they thought it was just depression. In any case, there are times when I looked drugged-up, but after seven to ten days it goes away.

  • @chiriquiTV I'm so sensitive to meds...that's one of the hardest things to deal with. I always get the weird/rare side effects.

  • @BipolarStateofBeing My doctor reduced me back to the Lithium I started out with - 300 mg AM and 300 mg PM and he's going to take me off of Seroquil XR totally. The medication was making me worse than I was as Bipolar.

  • Sorry to hear about your problems with your meds. Maybe they can back off on the dose until you find a balance that keeps you stable & the side effects are tolerable. I will be going on a antidepressant soon (1st time in 15 years), they have never helped in the past but maybe this one will help. Hang in there.

  • @2LucidDream Thanks for the sympathy. This whole rollercoaster of finding meds is almost worse than dealing with the disease sometimes!
