  • Into a man? well what did you expect? why do you want him to be a girl instead?

  • this is my Most FAVORITE Episode of Little House. I am so obsessed with the show and Laura Ingalls Wilder was always wonderful to learn about in school. I love watching Laura and Almanzo's Love Story play out. They are just soooooooo cute. I'm so happy I found a place to watch this episode, since all of my Little House DVD's are back at home and I am at college. :D

  • This is my favorite LHOP episode!!!!!

  • Ditto!! :D

  • It is amazing how Laura goes from wearing those fugly braids to a grow woman. She looked stupid in those braids.

  • well my sixteen birth i ask for my l

  • I never thought it was rushed. Laura and Almonzo was built up just right for the right moment, and this was it. If you ever saw the uncut version, you will see that it DID feel like Laura was slowly moving out of being a little girl to a young woman. It was really the clothes, the boots and her hair that made her different and looked a little older.

  • @ChicagoTyme2

Did you read Mrs. Wilder's books? That is where the true stories are.

  • I wish it was that easy to become a teacher now a days..lol.

  • people used to say i look like laura

  • "Tell me that's not true!"

    "It's not true!"

    "He's lying."

"Willie are you lying to me?!"

"No, not really. You told me to tell you it wasn't true!"

  • I wonder if Melissa Gilbert and Melissa Sue Anderson had nicknames because they had the same first name. Maybe Melissa Sue Anderson was called Melissa Sue.

  • @1simaddict1 They did! Melissa Gilbert was called Half Pint even off screen and Melissa Sue was Missy

  • I had my first kiss on the day of my sixteenth birthday...one year and 1 month ago...lol The guy turned out to be a jerk though. Nothing like Manly..sigh. I WANT A MANLY! lolrofl

  • "Ms. Ingalls!" Wait till it's "Mrs. Wilder" ;D

  • REALLY?! She goes from little girl to woman in a few minutes? I think she should of eased out of the childish role.... but that is a HUGE change! If you missed this episode when it came out and tuned in next week... you would be SOOOO lost... lol

  • @DramaGirl530 I agree! Michael Landon did that way 2 fast and should have spread her development out over a season and Almonzo's change of feeling for her. I didn't quite believe it when it happened, it felt rushed.

  • @UglyBetty70 If you watch the episodes before it Wilder, Wilder really starts the shift towards their relationship change.

  • This is my favorite episode <3

  • manly never says the right thing

  • thank you!

  • are there any parts missing? because i saw a different version with two added scenes that you dont have

  • @buzybaba Some youtuber's have the uncut version of LHOP. I, however, do not. I apologize for inconvience this may have caused. But these are the episodes that were shown on American television in their entirety (not including the deleted scenes).

  • @Emotional2000 what does uncut mean?

  • @rainbowgirl678 well ur already 16 but CONGRADULATIOS!!!!! 16 is a milestone!

  • @ little6565 i know right they make her sound so desperate thats the one thing i dont like about the tv series

  • Laura: Ya know you really didn't have to go through all this trouble.

Almanzo: No trouble at all... As a matter of fact i've been waiting for a chance like this.

    Laura: You have?! :D

Almanzo: Yeah, it gives me a chance to give Barnem here a good work out..... lol Poor laura :/

  • I love Mrs.Olsen!

    "A what!?"

    "A MAN!!"

  • Laura wants to seem grown-up, and have people not treat her like a baby. BUT HER MOTHER STILL HAS TO PACK HER LUNCH?!?!?!?

  • @rani1223 mothers are just like that with their kids. im 28 and when i go home to see my parents my mum always wants to wash my clothes and do the ironing for me! cant complain!!

  • Imagine being able 2 b a teacher at 16 and by only answering a few questions and boom your a teacher in a few hrs?

  • @candlelight482 I wish! lol : D

  • @candlelight482 well in actuality she had to study for months to be a teacher and take several exams, originally she didn't pass and had to take it again.

  • @candlelight482 sounds like an over achiever these days!!

  • @candlelight482 I know! I always said if I lived then I'd be a teacher! I'm a good enough student, especially in their standards!

  • @candlelight482 I'd be delighted! No going toschool for 10 years just to assist some teacher like now.

  • @candlelight482 Yes but it was another time.Girls are 16 were mature and had teaching diplomas. They could teach and many of them were married also.I am happy i'm born now because if i had lived back then i would have been married at 16 maybe before. So young!!

  • are there scenes cut out of this? cuz it seems like it.

  • @buzybaba This is the entire epi. I did not cut any scenes from it. However, you can purchase LHOP uncut on dvd. I have the U.S version as scene on Hallmark channel.

  • @Emotional2000 Actually emotional2000 the DVD version (LHOTP season 6) IS cut. They put the syndicated versions on the discs and not how LHOTP originally aired. The above video is a syndicated version. Apparently there are three scenes missing from this episode.

  • @beautybabe1 Oh, I know see what the LHOP fan was asking. Thanks for clearing things up for me. And you are absolutely right, I have the syndicated version of the series. So several scenes from various epi's may be cut out.

  • God I love this show:) I've read every single one of her books and even Little House Girls. Which I highly recommend. It tells the story of Rose(Laura's daughter) Caroline(Her mother) and her grandparents. LOVE HER!

  • i love that une that they play when Almanzo and Laura are together, or with just Almanzo...so romantic

  • It a shame that Laura wore that dress until the end of the series...lol

  • AW I love when Pa sees Laura in a new light! Usually Almanzo's pretty good...but "I don't think you look mature at all"? He can be soo clueless sometimes!

  • haha,

    pa called laura a woman!

  • @nataliecat190 Love that scene!

  • lol, laura

    1) becomes a teacher

    2) gets paid heaps of money

  • My husband and I are 5 years apart, its not 10 years, but had he met me when I was 15, he would not have taken two seconds to look at me in that way. I'm so glad I met him later on in life.. we're expecting a baby soon and its really nice to know how it feels to have an age difference acknowledged on tv.
