I think it's funny how ppl think Alig will have trouble adapting to new "technology" upon his release, as though iphones and pcs are high tech and complicated devices. These days, anybody with even marginally normal intelligence can operate computers. Most software programs have such simple user interface that even children can operate them. Instead of watching TV, we watch our pc screens. We download music instead of buying it in a store. Not exactly rocket science or major cultural progress

I one day went all the way over from England, rented a motel room for a while and walked up to the facility despite all the heavy snow Upstate NY on a daily basis; things became extremely friendly and he'll always have a special place in my heart. To everyone who thinks he/she knows it all. I actually MET Michael Alig in person - well, I visited him in jail every day for 2 months back in 2004 talking loads so I think I got to know him quite well -then I moved to NYC & we lost touch a bit but he is still my friend; we write each other sometimes plus I will visit him again this summer after finishing Uni. He's actually a really nice guy once you get to know him so all you haters should grow up and get a life!!!!!

I love how people think he's going to be "lost" and stuck in a cultural and technological time warp when he's released. I mean, give me a break. Most iphones and PCs are dummy proof these days. They can be operated by highly intelligent monkeys. He was on so many drugs he was able to dispose of the body, that doesnt make him responsible for murder. Angel was CHOKING him aginst the wall, threatening Freeze to stay back! OK, you have to understand that the time Michael was murdering/dismembering Angel, he was ihigh all the time. His judgement was ALWAYS clouded and his violent tendencies were mostly the drugs. You also have to take into account that when Michael killed Angel, he did so, at first, defending himself. Freeze even says so in his confession, look it up. Don't judge a book by it's cover or a movie by it's concepts. "Based On A True Story" doesn't mean it's ALL true.

All very ironic...I believe that Michael's whole life he seems 2 have been trying 2 "get back" at all those middle school bullies. A lot of us feel that way. But sadly, I think that he didn't ever even see the fact that he'd become the "ultimate" bully and was, 4 MANY years there. He became SO aggressive, that it got 2 a point where he could be no more aggressive, and that's when: he lost his mind, and ultimately, took every frustration w/ society he'd ever had out on just one: Angel.
