  • Oh, and to all the comments of people who think it would've been humorous if a piece popped: my cube won't pop a piece if I try! I've attempted countless times to pry this thing apart to no prevail... That would never be a problem for this stunt (: now the 120 mph winds could be a bit of an issue..

  • Impressive. And hot (: I must learn a new method to solve, being mine takes under 4 minutes... Mine is extremely simple though.

  • i follow him on tumblr.

  • Just saw Adam on ESPN E:60. They were doing a Rubik's cube special and I was telling a friend that Adam Morgan did this while skydiving. Then they showed a quick clip of this. Way cool Adam!

  • that would be funny if he let go of the cube and slammed in his face lol

  • i would have a heart attack befor i jump

  • @adamj425 thanks for responding to my comment. also thanks for letting me know i hope to do the same thing you did someday :) but i also would like to get a skydiving license and solve the cube in a solo dive.

  • @lost4468yt can you imagine that like being sucked into the plane and freeflying??? :S trippy...

  • how did you tether it to your wrist without the cord getting in your way?

  • @oris314 Watch my other video, The Skydiving Cube.

  • Fake he just played the video backwards.

  • @lost4468yt You're joking, right?

  • @adamj425 Of course, it's what everybody says on most other rubiks videos.

  • @lost4468yt Haha, just making sure.

  • what would have happend if you had a pop out? =]

  • it took 2 years but this vid made it to france!

  • @broadcastDotFr Define "made it to France". In what form?

  • @adamj425 a part o the vid was on a french channel :)

  • @broadcastDotFr Awesome! Do you happen to know where I could watch it?

  • @adamj425 it's not on the channel's website yet

i'll send you the link tomorrow

  • @broadcastDotFr Thanks a lot!

  • i'd go skydiving,jump out with my laptop and a rubik's cube.watch a youtube video to solve a rubik's cube and solve it in mid-air ;p

  • very good

  • Is it easy to breathe? Like, when I go on some roller coasters I can not breathe on the way down really fast parts.

  • ahah. cool. but how do we know you didnt use a greenscreen for that background? :o) not that i dont believe it...

  • u know what will have been epic if you threw it out of the plane and caught up with it then solved it :)

  • Great job! Next mission: a 4x4 cube.

  • FUCK U...U MADE LAUNENCE A LOSER

  • @CalLoweR0X Uh, what?

  • if u dropped the cube wouldnt it just be next to you since you and the cube are falling

  • @ThaConnor No. I have wind resistance and more mass that is very different from a Rubik's Cube. The speed of our fall would not be the same.

  • Nice job man

  • @cjmilbur Thank you!

  • lol dood wut if you dropped teh cube lol?

  • @dolphinphan3 I don't know ;-)

  • Kid is fucking brilliant. Brilliant thrill seakers end up as astronauts.

  • @hunterhalo2 I'd love to be an astronaut, but I doubt it'll happen. Thanks anyways!

  • i will do it for sure not kidding :P

  • @MegaFrog19 Good luck!

  • yo dood what if you dropped the cube? jk I'm sure you're smarter than that.

  • these people have some fucking balls

  • @shocktrooperX Thanks!

  • i would laugh if he dropped i mean how do you jump out of a plane and carrry a tiny cube

  • @CUBSFIRSTFAN I've heard this one a few times now. Read the intro annotation.

  • lol if it poped

  • @YacobuhCuber It was a storebought cube so it is really hard to pop.

  • First skydive and you spent it looking at a rubik's cube?? ahh!

  • What a story, huh?

  • haha nice!

  • that was amazing man! wish i could go skydiving!

  • Save up and go!

  • dont wish...just do it. just make sure you wear some nike shoes

  • lol i plan to go this summer if i have time. wat do nike's have to do with it? lol more aerodynamic? rofl

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry, you can't have it.

  • u took longer the 20 sec dident u? must be alot of pressure being that high haha nice job

  • Yes, I did. It took me about 47 seconds. Falling through the air makes it much harder to solve.

  • what sux is when ur parachute doesnt opn. hitting the ground at around 90 miles an hour hurtsd i hear\

  • 1. When skydiving you are falling much faster than 90mph.

    2. It's going to do more than "hurt" when you hit the ground.

  • Awsome

  • hehe, that's awesome! You must have had fun doing that. Great job on both, the rubik's cube solving and skydiving ^__^

  • Yes I did and thanks! I wish I could play piano as well as you. Great job.

  • Oh nice. Two things I'll never do right there, and you did it at the same time.

I'm more likely to solve a rubix cube though.

  • GOOD job man! got balls

  • that was sick!

    goood jobb!

  • it would have been hilarious if he dropped the cube while free falling

  • He did have a string attatched to it though that I'm guessing was attatched to his sleeve.

  • Good thing you didnt instinctively drop it on a "Stackmat".

  • I think that was one of the best comments on this video. Good job!

  • nerd who doesn't understand surfing.

  • Excuse me?

  • your comment on the pov of the dude getting barreled at teahupoo and you said it would get boiring and pointless. koook.

  • Just my opinion man. Suck it up.

  • kook.

  • wtf is that?! ...surfing???

  • adam your father kevin has disrespected myself the legend chad. as well as my group the Black3. tell him to make an apology video to me and my comrades or you and your mother will pay the ultimate price. by the way is she hot?

  • Dude, you're seriously going after his son? This is a new low, even for you. Er... scratch that... you were always a low life.

Dude, Adam, that was some sweet stuff up there. I can't even solve one, much less solve it while free falling. You're awesome, dude.

  • Someone hurt your feelings on the internet? Get over it.

  • lmfao, what if a piece popped!!!!!!!

  • It's was a storebought cube. They're hard to pop.

  • Did you actually drill a hole in it?

  • LOL if he dropped it

  • It was tied to my wrist.

  • I WILL do this one day! It looks so fun!!!

  • amen

  • Im doing this in less that a month for my sixteenth birthday, woooo!

  • I thought you have to be 18 to go skydiving.

  • I was under the same assumption, with the exception to certain states like Alabama. I had to be 19 to jump in Alabama, which is why I went to Georgia.

  • Im from Scotland, here i can do it at 16 with consent of a parent.

  • i went skydiving at 16 with my parents consent (cleveland ohio)

  • Great. Such a cube fanatic like me XD

  • i'm there with you.

  • Even if you dropped it, objects fall at the same speed no matter what, so it would have stayed right in front of you the entire time. Which is pretty trippy, considering.

  • Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure the wind resistance of two human beings and a Rubik's Cube are quite a bit different.

  • good point

  • More common sense in my opinion.

  • terminal velocity is what your thinking of adam

  • I know what I'm thinking of.

But when I'm dealing with someone who thinks a human being and a Rubik's cube will fall at the same speed, terminal velocity probably has too many syllables for them so I try to avoid words like that.

  • The two objects falling at the same speed thing only works if the objects are the same shape, weight doesn't matter. adam is right

  • Let's think about this. According to what you said, if you have a 56g tennis ball and a 1 ton wrecking ball (condensed to be the same size as the tennis ball), they will fall at the same speed?

  • Yes that is the point, weight doesn't matter.

  • You are incorrect. The 1 ton wrecking ball would fall much faster than the tennis ball.

It'd be a different story in a vacuum.

  • I am not sure, after looking on the internet and this topic seems to be in a grey area.

  • actually.... I realise now. Since weight is a measure of gravity's pulling force on an object I suppose the heavier the object the more gravitational pull it will have making it travel faster. Cheers you have enlightened me adam

  • No problem. It can't be a "grey" area when the conditions are completely open to being tested and have been tested before.

If they did fall at the same speed on earth, it would have been pointless to put Galileo's hypothesis to the test with the Apollo 15 experiment.

  • Actually the video is pretty cool. Your still a fag tho.

  • I'll accept that.

  • Man, you have one hell of an anecdote to tell people now.

  • Yay I wanna pay 200 dollars and jump out of a plane tandem too, and Ill even bring a fuckin rubix cube. This fucking nub got on tv, LAME. tv is LAME.

Put that fat fuck al roker back on.

  • Oh Fixer! You're just sad that this single five minute stunt amounted to more than anything you will ever accomplish in your life.

  • Keep tellin yourself that rich kid.

  • I think you should rephrase your statement, this is probably the most important thing YOU will ever do in YOUR life, lol.

  • One of the coolest, sure.

  • Man, I have to do that when I go skydiving.

  • That would be a lot more cool if this was still the 1980s.

  • a POP would suck during freefall

  • It was a storebought cube so pops are pretty rare.

  • Oh my God! That was AMAZING!

    What an EXPERIENCE!

    Respect, dude...

  • It would be cool if the cube got its own little parachute!

  • LOL4:04, bye bye, WAIT, WHAT THE FUCK!

  • what I meant was YOU didn't have one, I would be scared shitless if some other guy had to save me from all that. lol

  • Wow, that's awesome! And I say it as a skydiver. Great initiative and perfect concentration!

Skydiving in itself in tandem is pretty easy, but to keep your attention at your first jump to solve the Rubik's cube is really something.

    Bravo, bravo, bravo!!!

  • dude to make this more epic next time you should jump alone and try to solve the cube before opening the parachute lol...jk.

    but really

  • Send this to all of your friends. It's a small sport and we need all the publicity we can get!

  • omg awesome

  • I would lol if you let it slip out of your hands :p

  • I thought of that beforehand. It was tied to me.

  • is tandem more common now as a safety precaution ? When I did my first 5 jumps in the mid 90's it was all solo with a static line from 4000 feet. I guess solving the cube would be a bit tricky on your own.

  • As far as I know you can do static line progression if you're looking to get licensed but tandem jumps are a better way to give somebody their one time jump experience.

  • you have zero personality

  • he's about to jump out of a plane with no parachute

    a little sketched out perhaps?

  • You're right about being sketched out when jumping out of a plane, but you are incorrect about the parachute part. If you watched the video, I was jumping tandem with an instructor so I did have a parachute. It wasn't directly attatched to me, but I I was attatched to my instructor so I still had a safe flight down to earth.

  • While solving a rubiks cube in that amount of time is nothing special, doing it on your first skydive is quite impressive. You almost missed it though, the tandem master pulled lower to give you extra time to solve. Thank your videographer for getting some great footage

  • I'm faster on the ground ;-)

  • good job addyboo! lol ily dude

    ---munchkin

  • Epic concentration dude.

I'd pass out and urinate after jumping

    >.>

  • damn thats rediculous

how did sxephil find your video?

  • I have no idea. I guess he was just looking around and stumbled across it. I asked him in a PM but he never replied.

  • oh wow thats awesome

    thanks for responding

  • Hey Dude, Just got on here to check this out... Looks like this video is pretty popular! I'm glad I was able to video it for you. Awesome jump, one of my favorite tandems so far

  • OMG this vid FTW!

  • im going to be the first person to jerk off while sky diving

  • You're probably not the first.

  • i'm pretty sure the cube would've flown out of my hands and killed someone on the ground xD

  • FUCK YOU EMPIREOFTHESUN. I'd like to see your punk ass do that shit. Just because adam maufuckin morgan is more hardcore and has a bigger dick than you doesnt mean you have to hate...bitch

  • props man, that was seriously hardcore.

  • holy! dude nice

  • lol if he dropped it

  • u copied lawrence leung!!

  • I didn't solve it above a giant fan. I actually jumped out of a plane.

  • I'm not doubting your ability, in fact i congradulate you. But i'm just saying Lawrence has done it out of a plane, before you did. You obviously haven't seen the video yet.

  • I still haven't seen the video of him solving one while jumping out of a plane. In fact, I highly doubt that he could do it judging by another video I saw with him in it. He was solving a cube while other videos were playing and his solve ended up being around 47s once they were done. If he did do it before me, great. But nowhere in my video title, description, or comments did I say that I was the first person to do this stunt.

  • I just thought it'd be a cool thing to do so I decided to do it and post it on YouTube, that's all.

  • I'm doing this one day. you just beet me to it

  • dued thta was amazing man i think i can skydive but i dont know about the rubiks cube

  • that's hardcore. now go land on the moon and do it!!!

  • great fukin stunt man!!!!

  • Thanks.

  • Would've been funny as hell if he had dropped the cube!

  • It was tied to my wrist.

  • ahhh, would've been more impressed if it hadn't been tied to your wrists.....lol!

  • Hey~That was a Great Job!!!

I hope i can do it just like you too.

as silentfades said,You really pound yourself to the world.

    Winters in HK

  • watch a rubik's psycho killer in short film INSOLUBLE, to watch click on my name Devilnorm & watch in my Fave

  • That was great !!!!

You make your family proud - keep also being proud of yourself.

    Marc in NYC

  • Excellent job!

  • "Before his chute failed to open, sending him into a devastating collision with earth, the last thing Eric filmed was a mid-air solve of the Rubik's Cube. A wonderful departure, indeed."

  • That was funny XD
