hey im learning python and i downloaded "MacPython-2.3" but nothing works!. it opens but closses.... please make a tutorial on how to install and get python working thanks!

@lorkan101 If you cant install an dmg, i doubt your ability to program anything.

Click spotlight in toop left, type terminal and click enter.

In terminal, type python and click enterr again. Tuh dah.

Nice tutorial, but you spend waaaaaay too long deciding where to save it + opening and closing it. Chances are, if a mac user is interested in learning code, he knows the basic functions of a mac. But, all criticisms aside, nice tutorial :)
