  • ''got a outstanding warrant like everybody in here''

    hahhaha

  • Crap like this @0:51 is why so many brothas aren't successful in business and the free-market. You never...ever...want to beat up a customer. NEVER.

    That's a no-no.

  • Shit, was that Paul Mooney in beginning?

  • See nigger ain't that what the fuck I just said?

  • I never understood why they talked business on a jail phone

  • Man...what the hell does he mumble at @2:29!?

  • @Revuhlooshun he said "that assumes low overhead"

  • @Revuhlooshun "That assumes low overhead."

  • It's amazing how he transformed his accent. He should do more gangster movies.

  • little did mr.lucas know he was contributing to the city drug trade lol

  • Bodie's proudest moment of his short life.

  • lol bodies face at the end

  • Best ever. Fuck the rest of tv. (Soprano's still has a place in me heart)

  • The funny thing about this scene iz that Bodie use 2b the same way as them niggaz was, but as he got older sum of D'Angelo rubbed off on him.

  • lol, poor string, he had to deal with these knuckleheads.

  • lmao @ bodie "so now we beatin niggas ass over speak the truth?"

  • i know that a lot of the people on the wire are based on actual people but i just fucking refuse to believe that anyone like stringer ever happened. gets an a- in his test and then grills the prof about "inferior product in an aggressive marketplace". this is just mindblowing.

  • @immortalass it all happened .. I know .. I know ..but please believe it was all true

  • @immortalass Probably not, but the sad part is that a lot of drug dealers actually have decent business sense. If they actually put their mind to use and got an education and created and developed something legitimate and positive for their community that would be great. But unfortunately they are all just a waste of space and sub-human neanderthals. Anyone who sells drugs to their community, destroys their community and commits kids to violence is sub-human.

  • @whateverman181

theyre fucked up products of a fucked up situation, which is very human. doesnt make sense to demonize them. one guy staying a straight shooter wont change the game, its too deeply rooted, which will erode your defenses against it. in the end youre like "fuck it, what difference does it make" and you let yourself get sucked in.

  • @immortalass the players that make it so far as Marlo did are the ones you never hear about, they're only spoken in hushed whispers among certain circles.. like when Freamon and Mcnulty feared that String had become the bank, if a player makes it all the way there he can keep on making money by fuckin people up with drugs and still only a concerted effort/joint taskforce from multiple law agencies(DEA, FBI etc) might just get him.. liek Al Capone, the US got him with fraudulent...

  • @woodwyrm (continued)

accounting, not because of the bodies or that he was making money from selling liquor during the prohibition^^

  • Economics 1101.

  • If Stringer wasn't a snake, he would have hands down been the greatest character on the show. He was very much into making his money using tactics from shit he learned in classes and then told ALL his people what was up. He definitely could have used that brain for something positive but he was selling those drugs.

  • @ShockaSlim I say he IS the best character on the show.

  • nigga is you taking notes of a criminal fucking conspiracy ?? The fuck is ya thinkin man ???

    ROFL, fucking priceless

  • Nice customer service.

  • Isn't this exactly what the Republican Party is doing with the Tea Party? Just call it something else!

  • realest show ever!

  • Poor old man. He didn't deserve that shit.

  • either making or losing that money,

    losing that money?

    that's all that counts eh

  • Poot so languid in how he speaks.

  • the actor talking to string the first few seconds looks just like the one who omar was based on "Donnie" maybe? If so that's kind of a lame oversight to use him later in a totally opposite role.

  • @Safo8888

thats not the same guy my friend ....

  • That's what's so great about this show - it's not about good or bad. It's about every institution doing whatever it takes to sustain its empire and maintain the status quo.

Press, police, drugs, the education system, the working class - all of their filthy, tangled relationships and ethical compromises, accumulate to form this hideous mutation of the American Dream. It's such an ambitious TV programme.

  • @PurushaDesa those are the words ive been looking for to explain the show! well said!

  • @Majic031

Cheers mate. Not sure if you've seen Charlie Brooker's documentary on it called 'Tapping the Wire'. If you haven't, check it out on YouTube at,

    v=hXv3IKfqKmI

because he and his guests articulate the essence of the programme better than I can.

  • @PurushaDesa hell yea im bout to check that out right now thanks!

  • @PurushaDesa You took words right off my keyboard.

  • @PurushaDesa

Spoken like a student of modern macroeconomics :=)

  • "Fuck y'all!"

    "Yeah, muthafucka?..."

  • Y'all heard of Worlcom

  • LOL

  • "Say nigga, ain't that what the fuck I just said?!" -Shamrock, LOL...he had some funny lines, I was cracking up when Stringer chewed him out for writing minutes at one of the Co-Op meetings "Nigga, is you taking NOTES on a criminal fucking conspiracy?!"

  • @sexxyladychick yeah dat shyt was funny at the co-op meeting

  • @sexxyladychick LOL i loved that too

  • @sexxyladychick hell yea that was my shit

  • @sexxyladychick hahahahaha then you got Stringer the fucking Drug Professor lmfao 4:03 "alrite and good..then.....follow threw"..

  • why the fuck r they talkin bizness over the phone thing ppl listen to that shit

  • Nah it's not attached to anything, it's just so they can hear one another through the glass.

  • Some crackheads get shot for that

  • he smart man..but he end up dead...

  • Stringer was way smarter than Avon. Avon is locked up and Stringer aint, that goes to show Skkring dat nigga!

  • the only reason he aint locked up was cuz he had nigga's kill wallace and that was fucked up

  • wallace shouldnt had been in strings way to the crown

  • Just like some hood dudes, just starting stuff to beat somebody down.

  • lol

Bodie looked so happy when String gave him his props there at the end

    But Bodie was smart

If he was given a better hand in life, he could have been really successful. He had a lot of shit going for him. Smart, loyal, everyone liked him, wasn't afraid of shit and could step to anyone.

  • LOL at the end, drug dealer school, drug dealing economics 101

  • "Say nigga, ain't that what the fuck I just said?!" -Shamrock, LOL...he had some funny lines, I was cracking up when Stringer chewed him out for writing minutes at one of the Co-Op meetings "Nigga, is you taking NOTES on a criminal fucking conspiracy?!"

  • Dey aint hafta beat up dat fiend like dat.I still surprised he was still standin when he got hit wit dat bottle lol

  • craheads are tough mutha fuckaz

  • haha. avon looks depressed. it's too bad they never showed milton or petey dixon on this show. they sound like major players from the way the oldheads in the co-op talk about them. didn't hungryman say milton was big in real estate? i wonder if they were dealing with the greeks too...vondas said he wasn't only selling to joe...he had other buyers in baltimore. they didn't show the greeks enough in season 5.

  • You make a good point. I know Petey Dixon was dealing with the Greeks cause the detail had his photo on the board with Prop Joe and White Mike in season 2. So since Avon knew Petey why didn't they didn't go to Petey or Milton and just but off them and the wouldn't have to give up any of their towers

  • WTF STRINGER GOES TO SCHOOL

  • u be suprised how many "students" or even resturant owners or car dealership owners got their money to place their buisnesses in another game....drugs, and u be suprised how many are white doodz with the "american dream" family

  • Business school or some shit. Afterall he is a business man. He's book smart

  • Its Microeconomics at Baltimore community college

In season 1 Stringer was taking Microeconomics

  • Right
