it's hard to find such a good singer like kelly... she could sing ANYTHING, any song fits in her voice, that's why I think she is so complete and always a reference for the american idol.
here's the thing, i realize it's the biggest form of flattery for a contestant to use one of kelly's songs or carries songs....unfortunately I feel it's rather tacky to be using prior seasons winners songs to compete. It just doesn't feel right to me. sorry.
i thought the girl who sang breakaway was good, but her performance of that song was eh. but doesnt she look almost exactly like lea michele? shes like leas doppleganger!
and of course the keep mentioning kelly. shes the true american idol. :)

i love american idol, cuz they really look for talent and not for image, drama, party, lypsicn and all that stuffs, like a lot of "artists" (NOT SINGERS, THEY ARE NOT SINGERS THEY'RE ARTISTS) that have a lot of fans, but truly talents are in shows like this, and thats why from american idol is kelly!!! KELLY IS THE BEST SINGER EVER!!! anyone will have her voice, beauty, personality and anything of kelly, kelly is the best!!! and sho doesn't need to dance, get drunked, etc. she sings!!! AMEN!!
this girl looks like kelly even her clothes and singing, she moves so natural and is so young, if she loses just some weight, she can make it but I think she doesnt need to try because like jennifer said, sher is so great to see!! like kelly during these years!! and carrie too.
