  • What I disapprove of is of 1) with CIA and military force, demanding oil producing countries to sell in dollars to maintain the unfairness, allowing 5% of world population to consume 25% of its resources, and 2) A government enslaved to Central Banking, which (fittingly this July 4th) was the MAIN reason the colonies declared independence the English (Benjamin Franklin). Read Woodrow Wilson's quote after the 1913 FDR Act was passed:

  • thomasst2, it is astounding how little you know about the world. You come with your half baked theories. You probably don't know much about economics either. How many econ classes you took and how many books you read about it.

Please tell me know so I won't waste my time wit you.

Also if you are against the military force, how would you have liberated Europe that was occupied by Hitler's army?

And 5% of the population uses 25% of the resources because 5% of the pop produces 25% of the wealth.

  • But how did we get there? $10 Trillion national debt, $10 Trillion corporate debt and an $800 billion trade deficit (Our GDP is actually 21.9% of the world, meaning we consume more that we produce, hence the trade deficit) We consume now and pay later, but our ability to pay is being outpaced by our consumption.

Second, both WWI and WWII were bailouts of Western Europe because they screwed themselves playing the imperialism/alliance. Commerce with All, Alliance with none-Jefferson. Good advice.

  • Not to mention $12 trillion in mortgage debt pushed overseas and $50 trillion in Social Security and Medicare liabilities promised? Even the GAO agrees our economy is unsustainable and it's getting worse.

I'm not saying that we shouldn't gone after Hitler. But he was a much, much more evident threat than Iran. CIA blowback has caused or exacerbated the problems we have today. Continued aggression makes it worse. National defense and "national security" are not the same.

  • Plus a government with a budget deficit, of which it pays 25% of its bugdet to pay INTEREST on its loans and a public in a housing market and credit crunch with Federal rates at only 2%?? We can only sustain this with constant borrowing from the rest of the world. But borrow can only continue because of "demand" for the dollar: dollar-oil sales and American spending, providing return on foreigners' investment. That's why were in Iraq and why we bailed out Fannie and Freddie to protect it.

  • Good Job, NeoCons. You have officially brainwashed the next generation in believing that Anti US-Israel groups in the Middle East fight us not because of our imperialistic foreign policy to undermine OPEC's power base, overthrowing and destroying them by economic sanctions and war while lying to the US public about it (4 times), and giving nukes to the Israelites, who have 69 UN Sanctions against them, including stealing their land (3 times), but because they're hate mongering fanatics.

  • @thomasst2:

Good job, liberal. You have officially brainwashed this young generation in believing that Islamic terrorists are basically nice guys you could have a beer with.

Thomas, I think you are as smart man, but it seems that your information is of very poor quality. How would you feel to have your neighborhood under mortar fire and katyusha rockets on daily basis? How would you feel to have people out of nowhere blowing themselves up in your hood? OPEC is a cartel supports terrorists.

  • Sir,

You seriously need to do some unbiased research on U.S. foreign interventionist policies.

Our support of Israel starting in 1917 with the Balfour declaration and systematic land acquisition fro "Greater Israel", the UK/Russian invasion of Iran's oil in 1941 and the overthrow in 1953, the US' proposition to all oil countries to sell oil in dollars and pay part of our national debt as a finder's fee, giving Iraq chemical and nuclear weapons, then condemning his use to the world.

  • I'm not saying they're perfect. But if you antagonize people, especially over a period of 80 plus years, they're liable to snap and probably try to choke you to death.

  • @thomasst2:

as a typical die-hard socialist, your ability to use the misinformation propagated by your like minded socialists in the mainstream media is astounding. If you can't crystallize your thoughts in 500 char, please send me a comment with your points, so I can mop the floor with you and your ideas. It seems to me that socialists like you learned a lot from other (national) socialist (hitler) who said that a big lie repeated enough times becomes plausible and even accepted.

  • Can you inform me on what I don't know (I'm not being sarcastic, I'm being objective and serious)? I'm not advocating that Middle eastern countries are innocent, but US and eastern Europe foreign policy has not exactly been kind to the world. If I'm missing something let me know. "Mopping the floor" instead of educating gets us nowhere if you what people to understand. To gloat about being right concerning issues of mass death is a bit disturbing.

  • I'm not a socialist. I'm quite a big fan of smaller government and civil liberties as stated in our Constitution. What I don't appreciate is an unprincipled government which does as it says and not as it does. I understand realities of he situation, but what I don't like are politicians who come up with solutions that address symptoms of a problem rather than understanding and fixing the core of the problem itself and convinces its public it has solved the problem.

  • AlanCom1, your comment reminded me of my favorite Ronald Reagan quote "The toruble with our liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so." God bless that man's soul.

  • @ funpolitics,

just like Milton Friedman, I actually think that liberals are well intentioned, but very badly misinformed. I actually think that if they were only ignorant and and follow their good sense, they wouldn't be liberals any more.

That being said, I am very happy to see that hard core marxists repent. I mention Hitchens and Mamet. Unfortunately though, most of them are so brainwashed that they will never see the light. Sad they have so much power in the media

    Reagan is my hero too

  • @funpolitics

I can actually argue that most people were liberal when they were young. I for one wasn't because I grew up in a communist country and I can see what socialism leads to. However I was an environmentalist, anti gun advocate. Now I am none of the above.

It took some time to grow up, but I did, just like most people with good sense.

    Cheers!

  • im a teenager and im a far right conservative. not trying to start a fight, just lettin u know

  • @ugadawg: what is it that you complain about?

  • Reagan also said after 241 troops were killed in Lebanon: "We don't understand the irrationality of Middle Eastern Politics." Bush better heed that warning, if we keep pushing Miiddle Eastern countries with "shock and Awe" and wind up with a "Tet offensive"

  • @thomasst2:

US has some interests in middle east, some of it is legacy of cold war with proxies, some it's oil.

But, @ Tet offensive, US totally smashed the communists. If you know otherwise, it means that you don't know any history. Also the that episode in history shows the damage the communists were able to inflict to their own people in less than 3 weeks. Next!

  • Some Interest??? If you know about Milton Friedman, then you should know that our "interest" in the Middle East is everything. Our trade deficit economy is based on Friedman's theories. Our economy sustains it because 1) Americans spend so much, and 2) Oil sales are denoted in dollars, and 3) OPEC pays part of our national debt. Also foreign countries invest their surplus oil dollars in our economy to keep interest rates low.

  • We get goods for paper, part of our debt is paid, foreigners invest in our markets, and our economy grows without producing much and we giving up little for it. It's called "Petrodollar recycling". If oil producing countries quit selling oil in dollars, like Iraq didn't in 1990 & 2000, and Iran hasn't since 2006 when it opened it's own oil exchange, then, with a dropping dollar, if other oil countries follow suit, our economy will crash. That's why we're in the Middle East on bogus intel.

  • By the way, when I mentioned the Tet Offensive, I was referring to the military being caught off guard because it underestimated its enemy's ability and willingness to strike hard. In other words, 9/11, the train in Madrid and the bus bomb in England were recent ones. Lebanon was Reagan's. Iranian kidnap of American Students was Carter's. Clinton had US Embassies in Africa and the USS Cole. If we keep antagonizing the Middle East for oil control, more may be the result.

  • Venezuela and Saudi Arabia considered switching their oil sales to euros in 2006. Foreign countries have recently been shedding their dollar reserves and refrain from lending the to US. Bush has been sweating bullets ever since. Also Greenspan and Bernanke have been keeping interest rates bafflingly low to keep Americans borrowing and spending because a trade deficit economy can't survive if the public doesn't spend, business doesn't profit and foreigners don't invest surplus oil dollars.

  • @thomasst2:

You say that you are big fan of smaller government and civil liberties, but disapprove with Milton Friedman? How much Friedman have you read, or do you get all your info from Naomi Klein's books?

In my opinion, you are o moron. Prove me wrong!

  • I didn't say I disapproved of Milton Friedman, The fact is that his theory of a strong economy irregardless of a trade deficit is the situation our economy is in right now. I think it's fine as long as the trade deficit isn't too large, which is completely unfair to the country with which you have the deficit, and, in fairness, there is some quid pro quo agreement should the deficit persist. If you hate the country, don't do business with them, or suck it up and follow international trade law.

  • I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world.

  • No longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.

  • These "small group of dominant men," bankers responsible for the creation of the FDR want the petrodollar, they want big government because the government has to ask them perpetually for loans to become big and expand internally and externally to spread capitalism for their profit, not ours. They want war so the government can keep asking for loans, which it pays back with interest. Inflation causes loss of public purchase power while they profit. Central control by these bankers is socialism.

  • Have you noticed now? The Fed helping Goldman Sachs consolidate its banking power by "bailing" out Bear Stearns and the US public paid for it by losing purchasing power from inflation? Government's rampant borrowing for 2 wars and bigger government, causing more inflation, and our taxes only pay on the interest on the GOV's loans? And of course as the dollar goes down, oil goes up, forcing the world to give us more goods for more dollars to maintain world dollar hegemony. We are an empire.

  • they are the party of appeasement.they use terms such as tolerance..diversity..in a global war on terrorism we need to "kick their ass" like the little girl said.

  • Cute little girl.

    And spunky.

  • Cute kid!

  • very cute

  • possibly the most retarded video i've ever seen. american children have no future with this kinda shit...

  • Good luck getting north ireland back from the brits

  • if it's about monsters or terrorists, it doesnt matter. becuase it's fucking hilarious. i about fell off my chair laughing.

  • What kind of a fucking monster would a parent be to

feature their child in such a fucking retarded piece

of shit such as this film? Have shame on yourselves,

    for fuck's sakes. geeze.=(

  • Roflmao! OH!!!

  • thats amazing

  • That was TOO funny, I'll kick his ask.

  • In the original video the girl is talking about a monster, not terrorist or anything political

  • Yeah, but these people like to change things to make it go their way.

  • ya, liars abound

  • THAT DEMOCRAT SHIT IS BS!!!

  • aww she is sooooo cute!

  • Child abuse...you must know nothing about child abuse. If this were child abuse the world would be a great place. This was a three year old who was not going to get her ass kicked without kicking ass first. Child abuse is more like not getting proper food, cloths..parents BEATING the child, doing drugs with or in front of the child. Not giving a child the proper education. Look at the video the little girl was in a very nice clean house and was well taken care of she said the word ASS...

  • Mom- Your daughter absolutely has the right attitude. Granted the text should read "liberal" instead of "democrat", the message is clear- She's one smart kiddo! God Bless!

  • Out of the mouths of babes....so simple. She hasn't yet been enlightened that we shouldn't be afraid of the terrorists, they're just mothers and fathers, right? Don't let her watch The View!

  • Has to be a Republican kid. Democrats abort their babies. What a nice bunch of people huh?

  • There's just a certain line of "stupid" that, when crossed by one, one cannot cross back over.

  • wow what a foul mouth little girl.

  • Ass is a body part it really is not that bad of a word. No you don't want your kid running around saying it...but there are words a lot worse. This mom handled things very well. As cute as the little girl was she was scared and serious her mom corrected her in the end. Great job mom, and I agree I would kick it's ass "butt" if it was coming out of the TV too.

  • Ridiculous

  • In what ACTUAL world do people think Democrats DON'T want to "kick the terrorists' ass?" Why does wanting to focus the WOT on ACTUAL terrorists like Al Qaeda, and ACTUAL havens for terrorists like Afghanistan somehow mean that the Dems DON'T want to fight the war? People who don't get this - honestly, please just pipe down. You're embarrassing yourselves and contributing NOTHING.

  • oh really, well, problem solved then, we'll just let her and her mum decide who the terrorists are and then we can go back to eating too much and not thinking about anything. Sweet.

  • Well first of all it's MOM not mum, and I have no idea what eating had to do with the video you must be hungry or eating too much. I thought she was cute and it orginaly was about a monster coming out of the TV and someone turned it into a terrorist thing for people like you to have a cow about.

  • Sup Brackenlloyd

First of all i concede that Mum is spelled differently in your country, not really relevant though is it? Second, don't get upset at me, get upset at those who decontextualised the video in the first place. Oh and quoting Bart Simpson is so 1990.

  • Yeah well I grew in in the 90's and uh...duh that was not the point.

  • So ok, we're suppose to listen and obey 3 year olds when it comes to political strategies, religion, and respect for other people and other nations? Taking advice from someone who knows nothing of world history, our various cultures, religion, or even basic math? I told my parents to kiss my ass around that age after getting a spanking after I did something wrong. It doesn't mean I was in the right from the get go, although they did laugh at it afterwards.

  • Who else do you think George W. gets his advice (and speeches) from?

  • you're just hilaaaaarious

  • I most certainly am.

  • Child abuse. America is sick.

  • Sounds innocent...its not child abuse! It is funny...and the mom did say that's not nice....and told her the right word to use! You're over-reacting in this case!

  • lighten up....and people "could" like you, take the advice of the superior country

  • Aside from the "democrats" thing, it is funny. Lighten up chronicman!

  • this girl looks like the President

  • LOL YOU ARE SO RIGHT! I glad you pointed that out!
