Hey everybody - I just released my solo album "Mirror Image" that contains electronic upbeat and ambient songs heavily inspired by The Future Sound of London. If you're interested you can check out the songs on my youtube page, and links to my myspace page and places to download the full album are on my youtube channel as well :) .

Yeah these guys were ahead of their time regarding the internet, ISDN is old technology now but in '94 was well futuristic in the fact that they broadcast tracks over an ISDN line to radio stations, and released a 'live' album of sorts aptly named ISDN.
I was also at the gig in the late 90's outside Brighton where they played their live set over a ISDN line to the stage. Spot on.
@Jafcon69 Yeah, I think FSOL made animations for most of thier tunes. You used to be able to watch them on their web site, long before most people even knew what the internet was. These dudes were massively ahead of their time when it came to the internet.
the cops kinda snuffed em out, they still go on quit a bit in Detroit, Michigan. i have been to some really old school ones where they only played 80's and some 90's trance and house.
i first heard this track off of Urbal Beats: Definitive Guide to Electronic Music, a compilation CD put together by URB magazine. this is from 1997. i can't believe how fast 10 years flew by.
Ya because nearly a third of all the people I've ever met that smoke pot totally don't do it every couple hours, and they definitely don't talk all day about smoking, and how they're going to get their next batch.
OMFG! I JUST realized after all these years where I heard this song from, The game Wipeout XL from the first playstation! lol I didn't know until right know that they made this song.. and I've listened to it 100's of times too.. funny
i remember the 'Ozone'program on MTV Latin America, with Ruth Infarinato, that program was great and seminal for the diffusion of the electronic culture/music into latin america.
I still have some VHS tapes with hours of clip i recorded. Im thinking its a good idea to rip someones from that old vhs tapes.
Still a bangin' choon! I remember getting the limited edition CD which came with what was probably the best insert/booklet filled with great art and photography. Wow! That was over 12 years ago. Reminds me of all the good times living in London! What an anthem!
i love this track it paranoic so its clip the first time i saw the clip on greek television on a greek music channel i had switched to another channel just a little bit later to switch back to the clip!!! we love uk drum n base!!!
i know some gyus in russia, including me, for whom this music become gate to real electronics! thanks FSOL. and looking back thru years i can say - FSOL will sound tremendous for many many many years. EXPLOSIVE !!
Great track, but boy did it feel out of place on the Dead Cities album ! The rest of the album is really chilled and this really jarred when it came on.
When I used to put the album on to chill out to (whilst reading or relaxing), I'd program the cd player to skip this track.
When I came back from the pub some nights though, this track would be on my headphones at full blast....
So, great track in it's own right, but an odd inclusion on the album IMO.

Acid and XTC are too heavy for starters, but pot's safer than Alcohol and less addictive than cigarettes.
