@GrizzlerBorno as someone else may have already pointed out my dear friend a HALO jump has nothing to do with the xbox game. HALO stands for High Altitude Low Opening, and so in this video they jump from a high altitude and open their parachutes at a low altitude. Also please don't swear in your comment as some may find that sort of language offensive.

no but HALO jumps can be done in the co-operative 0.97 Project Reality servers. That is because almost ever class is given a parachute. Just make sure it is a class that you SPAWN with and not one you pick up because pick up kits (from others or from a crate) do not contain the parachute.

@smurfsniffer There's many factors to reality when it comes to games. In Project Reality, the Physical properties aren't realistic, neither are the graphics but the Gameplay is very realistic.

Battlefield: Graphics Realistic, Gameplay unrealistic, Physics sort of unrealistic.

CoD: The Gameplay is unrealistic, Physics unrealistic, Graphics unrealistic.

You have to pull the chute at the level of the height of the trees otherwise the enemy will see you, and will lose the element of surprise! keep practising.

technically you dont pull your chute at the lvl of the trees because youll be broken or dead, think about it, also you pull your chute around about 200ft off the ground, and if you pull 5 secs after you jump its called haho,which you are gliding to the ground. also to note, its practicing not practising, so spell right and practice maybe youll learn something before you talk.

if the update is included you can download the pr files right away, otherwise update first. I advice you download the pr files first, if it doesnt work deinstall (there are instructions on which install should follow up which) install according to the pr install instructions(if you cant find them dont hesitate to send me a mssg) and download the 1.5 anyway, it can only save time if you dont count the deinstalling, which 'll probably go faster than downloading 1.5.

Well if the game is already patched, you can just install the core and the levels straight away, if not you must first patch to 1.5. If you are not sure you can download 1.5 patch and try to install it, if it says that you already have it installed you can install PR right away.

and an old member of ours edited the map to have an Osprey in it.

No, it doesn't come in PR by the default map.

The Osprey is in the files, but not in a map yet..

This was like 0.8 or something, or even earlier..

In a really early version of PR, there was a V-22, but it was as glitchy as hell, mods say it'll be reintroduced to the USMC when they have the map appropriate (current ones too small). I'd pay to get the files to play with the heli again.

Yeah, it was in an earlier version of PR I don't exactly know which, but as explained earlier a clanmate modified the map Al Basrah and put in the V-22 :D

It's not an official release but it's fun.

Well, a clanmate of =WST= modified the Al Basrah map with other vehicles, then we started up a LAN server with hamachi, and we could play the map with the other vehicles ;)
