at a price point a d16y8 built and turbo to max boost will put out more hp for the price you spend to build. of course a 4g63 car with 12k+ into it is a better motor. but you would have about 3k into the turbo d16y8 including the civic you got it in. im sorry but i dont know why people even waist money in swaping out a motor unless you cant get forged internals for it.

@MrJdmef umm the engine in that civic is facing the opposite way, it looks like they took it outta the turbo eclise/talon. if its a 6 bolt then its a 1g at that.

fuck i had a 00 si and traded for a 95 gsx, so what if the gsx was auto... i still many many hondas ;) and also if i were to have switched out interior to cloth, replace the fenders and hood with fiberglass ones, and changed those stock heavy ass rims, i wouldve been smoking... and i still dont see why people always tell me that i "made a mistake", hell show me a stock 4 cyl, that can withstand 400 extra horses on a stock internals or even 800 extra horses with a complete overhaul :)

Well he already had a Honda, so why not go with the more superior motor? There is no B16 or B18c or K20a that can come close to the 4G63 power wise or make more horsepower, Honda motors just can't handle boost. They just weren't designed to comepete with the 4G63. The 4g63 is the most powerful and potent 4 banger this side of the equator. Sorry Honda guys you fail at boost. Honda's are played out anyway not this Honda it will be spared that motor is like a big set of tits.........LOL

Because the mitsubishi 4g63 engine is the best 4 cyl engine and sounds the best. No other 4cyl engine can put out the hp numbers that a mitsubishi 4g63 can which is why eclipses have the record 1/4 mile times cause the ycome with the engine from factory.
