@mdgtrpckr you must not know very much about the z wreck then I assume? This amp is not a very clean amp....it kind of touch sensitive....with a tele is the cleanest you'll hear this amp...with a les paul its almost breakup dirty all times...cheers!

I'm considering buying this set up , but all I play is 58 les Paul /57 classic humbuckers and custom SG with same humbuckers , no single coils would you recommend this ? So sound awesome but I don't have any pedals yet .

I'm a tele guy and a few years ago my Maz Sr. was my main amp. So 52 Tele into that did it all for me. A musical acquaintance back then brought a high end Gibson Les Paul. Not even sure what it was. He said it was close to $3k. Plugged it into my Maz Sr and WoW!!!! Crazy screamin tones!!!

Excellent stuff mate, I run my 58 VOS and strat through a Matchless Independence and its the same sort of deal, clean and spanky with the strat and just a complete snarler with the Gibson, a good amp is as much a musical instrument as any guitar!
