@OfficialLectric the fact that someone has gave a tune like this it's own genre is just plain stupid. if this ain't electro then what is in this day and age? obviously technoligy has improved and sounds change but that doesn't mean make up a new genre cause the beat sounds slightly diffrent. This tune in every way fits the electro category. chopped vocals, hats on the down beat do not change a thing it's still electro. Sub genre's are bullshit.

Subgenres come for many reasons: style, tempos, time signatures, rhytms, date of emergence.

Tech house is pretty simple don't you think? A track that isn't quite house or techno, but somwhere in between.

The way you call it, all of this shit should be chucked under "Dance", but it isn't. The reason genres exist is basically for marketing purposes, they make it easier for people to find the type of music that's relevant to their interests.

@morgengabe1 i get what your saying but it doesn't change a thing, this tune fits perfectly into the electro category. just cause music advances in sound capability doesn't mean the genre should be givin a new name. and there is a fine line between house and techno, most people didn't know how to describe daft punks 1st album as it was basicaly house and techno together as 1. same can be sayd about techno and electro whats the diffrence? drum machines. there's already enough genre's
