  • 4 people refuse to accept that they are ordinary.

  • Sooo cool & down to earth as usual. That description fits Joe. He is in a class of his own that noone can come close to.He can uplift the spirits with his personality and lyrics plus great guitar riffs to our ears. I could go on & on with the compliments and those who know of him for all these years know what I mean.

  • There's a live version of this song with Joe and an old Eagles buddy (one of the Dons) that is awesome!

  • Yes, I've got the album and it's great fun ! Joe's really into the music and is such a cool dude ! Thanks for the upload Pollackxxx

  • i always hope the poop is hard, and I dont have a dog!!!

  • I love Joe. He's made me happy for more than 30 years...

  • such a great artist, solo or with the eagles, his solo career reminds me of george harrison after the beatles split up. He's definetly the most down to earth, compared with glenn frey and don henley's ego's clashing.Case and point, joe walsh u rock.

  • @psiclone35 Joe Walsh, Bernie Leadon, Randy Meisner and Don Felder were who kept Henley and Frey's egos in check. What thanks did Henley and Frey give Meisner and Felder, their walking papers.

  • BLUFF: JOE KNOWS. PERIOD

    its all about expereinces

  • lmao to go from lifes been good to average ordinary guy seems ....well funny!

  • I just saw the Eagles last night at the Idaho Center in Nampa, ID. Don, Glen, Joe, Timothy.... all incredible! Legends. I feel very fortunate to have finally got to see them. I hope they keep going as long as they can.

  • This song is one of the best memories I have of The Eagles 'Hell Freezes Over' tour in Melbourne..... Joe and Glenn Frey had so much fun with it!

  • Joe - please don't kill your YT vids (we KNOW you can - if you choose). We love & appreciate your talent. THUMBS UP - if ya love Joe!

  • I'm a small business owner. I live by this every day. Every day.

  • Joe was hanging around with some Kiwi reggae boys at the time he recorded this album, they bought him down to earth

  • @cazfortune1 The kiwi raggae boys ure talking about are called, rather appropriately i must say, HERBS. And they are good too! Go New Zealand!

  • @cazfortune1 He was always down to earth in my opinions and he was a kiwi guy.

  • @cazfortune1 ..".The Herbs" were the Kiwi guys

  • Got any gum?

  • Pick up the dog doo - hope that it's hard... I guess we all have our share of shit in life no matter how it comes. Old saying: very rare: Life is like a shit sandwich. The more bread ya got the less shit ya gotta eat.

  • AMEN!!!!! WELL SAID!!!!! :)

  • epic

  • Mata's gonna shred nar to this one ,Yeah walsh

  • Cool as usual, from Joe.He certainly added much to the Eagles' fame.He did so well solo. His guitar riffs are so much better than others who are made out to be. Just my opinion.

  • @alexandriabay1 yes definetly top 5 living guitarist.easily ahead of van halen, page, and a lot of other overhyped, mediocre players

  • @brandonmc09 Nice to know you feel the same way. Electric guitar music is my favorite. There sure aren't many who can really rock the guitar. I also like Def Leppards' Phil Collen.

  • @brandonmc09 Nice to know you feel the same way.Electric guitar music is my favorite. There sure aren't many who can realy rock the guitar. Def Leppards' Phil Collen, David Gilmour of Pink Floyd. Night Ranger also.

  • What happened to "Space Age Wiz Kids"?

  • 1 of da most bizare but luvable songs good job joe

  • great tune

  • This song sounds average and ordinary:)

  • Is that a Rickenbocker he is playing in this video?

  • No, it's a Gretsch.

  • Sweet, I had a Gretsch but sold it to pay some bills some years ago, I always thought of Joe Walsh as a Les Paul kind of guy.

  • Joe likes Les Pauls, but he can use anything and sound just like himself.

I think it's cool he doesn't play favorites.

Right now I've seen him using a lot of Carvins.

  • this song represents me.

  • Me too!!

  • I wonder if anyone can upload more songs from the ordianery average guy album. It's an awesome album. Actually my favorite from all his stuff. And it gives me great memories.

  • so much hidden in the music world

  • ahhhhh the memories

  • this song mellows me out in an awesome way!

  • Joe you're not ordinary average guy, maybe in California or New Jersey you are but not anyother place.

  • It just a song, guy, don't take it to heart.

  • Yeah, & it's a fictional narrator in the song that's delivering comedic lyrics. It's like saying that George Lucas thinks that he can use the Force because he created the fictional concept for the SW movies.

  • lol at 2.02

  • This song made me feel good about myself, for once. Never heard it until a few days ago. Love it!!!

  • Good song, very late 80's/early 90's feel to it. I guess this is kinda my theme song. I work in a factory setting, bought a fixer upper home I;m working on right now, and drive a Kia rio. I used to know someone from school, I guess hes got some job in Chicago and has been out of the country on vacation, drives a BMW. A life I couldnt imagine but this song kinda makes me feel about where I'm at. I think blue collar folks get made fun of alot but the educated ellties and the media in this county

  • When one of my daughters, Angeliou, was an itty bitty barely walking little angel (she still is,.......yet she walks) I used to play this song an aweful lot,

  • same!

  • I love music I can relate to!!!!

  • Wish I was an ordinary average guy. Pills and drugs have fucked up my life way to fucking much.

  • Hang in there bud. It can get better. Joe Walsh had problems with booze and mayber drugs (I am not sure). He got clean. You can clean it up too. I know you can do it. Get some support.......support group or something.

    Maybe Alanon.

All the best. go with God,

    Scott

  • I love joe too,I think he's great-thought he was cool to be on drew Carey's show. That was ages ago though.he seems like teh kind of guy you could have for your next door neighbor.

  • I heard he was also on a special episode of "Who's Line" (maybe even two) but I've never been able to find it.

That's what's so great about him, he could never just be an ordinary average guy to anyone but himself.

  • joe is an american treasure!! one of the greatest american rockstars ever.

  • I just realized that he kinda sounds like Ozzy in this song. He should do a cover of Crazy Train.

  • That would be a waste of real talent.

  • no that wouldnt, crazy train is an awesome song, joe walsh is an awesome singer, though metal is not quite his style

  • why should Joe go and kiss up to Ozzy by covering one of his tunes? Do you think that Ozzy would go and cover "Rocky Mountain Way" or "Life of Illusion"? No way in heck would Ozzy do that. Why should Joe give Ozzy any props?
