to the reviewers; I test drove an automatic TL SH-AWD, and I can say it was pretty boring, but most of my complaints were with the transmission. Based on the S4's intrusive and non-defeat ESP/ASR and recalcitrant transmission, I don't know if I truck with letting it finish ahead of the Acura, especially considering the final times and that gorgeous slide you managed to video.
The TL maye not be quite as fast but is more refined than the Lancer and probably cheaper. Also imagine a boosted TL or with more performance VTEC ot make 330hp. The other cars have boost

@toyujohnson You've got no idea how SH-AWD works, the two rear wheels are independently driven by one clutch pack apiece. When you pull the handbrake, both clutches go slack and the car is instantly FWD. There is no center diff to complicate things. It's a very elegant and simple system for what it achieves, which is both left right apportioning in the rear and fore aft apportioning, which neither the evo nor the audi can do. If the TL can't handbrake turn, it's the VSA not SH-AWD.

Also, please next time you do a video review comparing three cars, remember that having a "control" in any review or experiment ensures that the final numbers (in the case time) are not effect by poor driving, shifting, gender, ect. the only reason why the acura is is competing with those is because it has michelin ps2s. I went to lime rock to drive a 335i, b8 s4, g37 and sh tl with the bmw coming first. When we changed tires the on the cars the acura was last when before it was second
@cjtobias We were going to use a 335xi in this round-up instead of the TL, however, there isn't a 335xi currently in the US press fleet. (Or, there wasn't a few weeks ago)

TL = Epic Fail. The ugliest redesign that is painful to see. I'd drive any car other than this TL. Evo is awesome. S4 is for people who don't drive fast.
