@MightyIronHead his serve is much more of a weapon this year, he's beefed it up by playing it in different spots of the court but it's been a bit up and down in terms of percentage for 2010. I'm sure 2011 will hopefully change that

djokovic is going to lose his #3 spot to murray this week - unless he defends his championship points which seems unlikely due to nadal. So unless nadal falls before the finals, there is going to be a switch between the two in their rankings
murray is clearly more talented. his all round game is much better. his serve, backhand, drop shot, volleys, lob and slice are all better than djokovic's. i would argue that his forehand is also better purely because he has more variation on it then djokovic. djokovic tries to power through opponents, murray is more tacful. much better.

Well as far as I am aware Scotland do not have a seperate Davis Cup team or an Olympics team. Therefore as Scotland is in G.B he is the obvious choice to represent G.B in both those events as he is our best player. Just as Henman was an Englishman and we did not have a seperate English team for Davis Cup or Olympics so he played for G.B. Not a problem as far as I can see.

murray is clearly more talented. his all round game is much better. his serve, backhand, drop shot, volleys, lob and slice are all better than djokovic's. i would argue that his forehand is also better purely because he has more variation on it then djokovic. djokovic tries to power through opponents, murray is more tacful. much better.

i disagree im afraid. i think murray and djokovic have completely contrasting styles. murray likes to manouver the ball a lot and change the hieght and pace where as djokoivc is very agressive and likes to power through opponents. but djokoivc is better on clay.

I think murray is more of a counter-punching grinder, who likes to move the ball around, both guy´s play amazing defense no doubt, I just think novak is more offensive from the baseline, (more so than murray), but I also believe they are on pretty similar level´s technically/ talent speaking as well.

Murray is good with variation, but I don't think Murray deserves Djokovic's rank. I think Murray needs to prove himself a little better by performing well at the Grand Slams. In 2009, he underperformed his rank in all four slams. Since he's ranked 4th, his draws are made favorable until the semifinals, yet he did poorly to only make one.

I can't speak for the 5 million + Scots but I don't mind being called British. It is what I am. The only problem I have is when I'm abroad. If I say I'm British people immediately assume I'm English. It's happened a few times in Europe and Canada but mostly happens in America. I just say 'no, Scottish'. It has happened with Murray with commentators that don't do their homework. If they had called Henman Scottish I'm sure he would have said 'no, English'. It's a fact after all.

The UK (The United Kingdom) is also called Great Britain, or just Britain by countries who don't like to say how great we are.
The UK or Great Britain is made up of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
We are all one nation. Just like in the olympics. Team GB/Team GBR refers to Team Great Britain.
The republic of Ireland were once part of the UK but are now their own nation :)

If you mean do Scotland hate the REST of Britain, then there is a stereotype as to that the Scots hate the English for taking their freedom and I don't think Braveheart really helped to get rid of that stereotype.

There is actually a difference between the UK; Britain; Great Britain and the British Isles. I think that is what some people find confusing. The UK includes GB and N Ireland. Britain (England & Wales) hasn't existed since 1707. GB is Scotland, England & Wales. The British Isles includes GB, the whole of Ireland, and all the offshore Islands. Don't think I'm wrong in any of this but would be happy for anybody to correct me.

Yeah, I did. Poor Nadal - he'll have to be more careful in future. Don't go stripping off even if you can't see a camera. Someone will be lurking somewhere with one. I do think the paparazzi should leave people alone when they're obviously with family, friends etc. Just a bit creepy to think that it was probably a guy taking the photo.

The press are just thinking of dollar signs when they take pictures like that. They sometimes shout abuse just to get an reaction. Its sad that they cant have some private time. But when the newspapers and mags are sold due to this kind of picture it will continue. We are our own worst enemy. No doubt there will be worst to come.

If I were Nadal I'd be taking legal action. The photo is nothing more than a violation of his privacy. He does have a 'famous ass' but I'm sure he would rather the whole world didn't see it. As for the paparazzi - I knew after they tried to take photos of Princess Diani after her fatal crash they couldn't possibly sink any lower. Not been proved wrong.

Well as far as I am aware Scotland do not have a seperate Davis Cup team or an Olympics team. Therefore as Scotland is in G.B he is the obvious choice to represent G.B in both those events as he is our best player. Just as Henman was an Englishman and we did not have a seperate English team for Davis Cup or Olympics so he played for G.B. Not a problem as far as I can see.

Andy Murray is a potential Grand Slam winner thats all until he proves otherwise. Nothing wrong in that as most are . And only a handful in any one era win a Slam. Again nothing bad about that. He has proved he is world class and from where I am sat he has more potential than most. This is the era of the inconsistents. He can take his chance and prove he is not one of those.

Won't say he's a grand slam material yet though, there're plenty of "could have been" slam winners like Corretja and plenty of "how did he win that" slam winners like Gaudio. Of course its pure speculation. Has he won one ? No. And until he does thats all it is . Pure potential and speculation. He may win one but time is running out. You say " on his day" And there it lies. He is not consistent enough. Especially when it matters . Think very recently as in Wimbledon this year. He may have the talent but you certainly need more than that to win a Slam. I have said before apart from the top 3 this in the era on the inconsistnts.

Murray is 6 in the world. To be the 6th best in the world at anything is something to be mighty proud of. Tennis is a hard physically and mentally challenging sport. A one to one duel. Give him enormous credit for winning a Masters title at such a young age. I only wish they would still play best of 5 sets in the final like they used to.Its easier to win now. And it was more enetertaining for the crowd.
