Do you run Linux on the computer you edit videos on? I can't seem to find any decent editing software for Linux, but then again, I haven't been looking much.

Actually I dual boot. So I use XP for editing. I can imagine it is hard to find a really good editing software for it just because professionals in the Video realm aren't so into linux.

I would be using Linux, but most of the stuff I use doesn't work with it and I can't find any custom drivers or whatever to make them work with it, so I would just be using it for browsing the net, so I didn't see much point in using Linux.

Is Linux, the orginal version, not Ubuntu, is it a graphical operating system or is it command lines.

I always thought with linux you have to types commands and there is imited graphical stuff.

Well Ubuntu is Graphical.. i have it running right now it actully looks quite nice, and it just works maybe not for all games, but im running it when i wanna listen to music, without Vista fucking everything up
