I am considering switching to two wheels from four wheels. I ride a Trx450r that is currently running some serious hp and was going to switch to an LT-R450 but am curious about trying dirtbikes. Is this bike somewhat easy to ride? I'm 5'10" 155lbs and can muscle a quad to do whips but would need to learn how to balance a dirt bike.

if it helps at all , im 5'2 and i fit an 85 perfectly i have tried to get on a 250f and theres no chance so im guessing that you wouldnt fit either.

sorry i cant pm my ps3 wont let me (computers broken) 5'1 is quite small for a 250 but u can get the suspension lowered and u may be able to tip toe it im nearly 6' and i solidly can touch the ground the propper sag helps too if your over 140 which is my weight u mite have trouble fitting it bcuz u need stiffer compression settings hope that helps :)

Way to much money spent on making the bike pretty. all the fancy shit dont make it faster. Try some performance parts. I put on a FMF full system it added power everywhere exspecially with the twin air intake.

are motocross bikes harder to maintain then trail bikes because im thinking about switching to motocross.

yes because the oil goes quicker and you need a clean air filter, pretty much everything on them is touchier but they are tougher to absorb and handle stuff on the track, they are not too much harder, but yes they require more money into them but its also worth it. be sure to ride it really hard so that its not unnecissary when you change the oil, because if u just putt around with it its going to gum up the carb so make sure you can handle the bike :)

Factory Effex makes good number's dude, the side-panal number's come with an AMA logo and your number, (of course) and the front you can get a choice of a Toyota logo, Monster, or your name on the front along with two AMA logos on the sides and your number.

hey i have a 99 yz 125 and im doing more trails and its allways boggen. i the rmz250 a good bike 4 trails and how much do u like it.

well if you more into trails stick to a trail bike because a race bike is ment to be really opened up on the track other wise the carburator will gum up, and is more trouble than its worth for the power it also requires alot more maintenence. try getting a 230, but if you really want something to open up and you think you can take care of it yea get a 250, i really like the suzuki altho it may lack up top it really pulls down low and is really stable and great handling

yeah I agree with you. I HAD a 150F but it wasn't enough for tracks. So I got a 150R. But I have to say though, I still occasionally go on trails, and it seems a bit better, you know, to get out of sand or quick turns. Not discriminating what your saying, its just my opinion :) Nice bike btw!

Very nice bike, i have a 2006 model rmz250 and i am looking to upgrade to a 08 rmz, have you had any problems with yours?

absolutely none, the suspension comes a little stiff for a 150 lb rider, but everything is easily adjustable to your riding style and the right thumb mounted hot start is super convenient!the throttle rolls real nice and the bike feels really light and nimble when your in the air and through corners, breaks are great and it rides realy nice with tones of power through the woops really recomend getting this bike it does not fall flat uptop like some people sayif it doesa procircuit pipe canfix it

yea im trying my hardest to get out riding but the weather is not cooperating, there is still snow around, it is finally starting to warm up and its really wet, my friend got stuck and i was up to my thighs in mud trying to haul his 450 out of 3 feet of mud, that was hilarious, should have some new vids up really shortly :)
