No, Sin & Punishment looks pretty cool. This new Metroid looks like crap. I can see from the trailer that Team Ninja took what I loved about the series and gave it a cheesy anime style, ugly graphics(the aliens + her suit), and crappy voice acting. The prime series was pretty good, though NO GAME HAS EVER BEEN AS GOOD AS SUPER METROID.

Team NInja and Yoshio Sakamoto have rapped the franchise.

@PhantomF9 I've always found it odd that people have called the Other M alien designs "weird", considering they more closely resemble those of the original trilogy + fusion more so than anything seen in the Prime games, especially the space pirates themselves.

@gguru1 idk, the alien desigs remind me of that opening cinema in Smash Bros Melee, which i didnt care for either.I liked the 3D interpretation of her suit in Prime and Brawl the best. Anyway, im not sure i like the direction they're taking the franchise, but i guess u won't know what the full game is like till it comes out. Still, i miss the dark art and creepy atmosphere of Super Metroid. I would rather have the Resident Evil team/Capcom work on it than team ninja. u know?

I could put up with the waggle in Twilight Princess that was basically just a replacment for a button press, but honestly, Motion Plus level accuracy should have been in the Wii Remote from the beginning.

It looks like this metroid is going to be pretty story driven! Back story of samus and even super metroid's storyline.

The different camera angles are probably part of gameplay. Say, when Samus grapples an enemy in close she has the choice to go into 1st person to blow of his arms or something, or when you pull off certain chain combos the camera changes to a "2D" perspective. Something to that degree I imagine. Can't wait to see how it works.

The impressive thing about Metal Gear Peacewalker is that it's supposed to be a full fledged sequel and not a side story or a spin off. I guess handhelds have finally getting the respect they deserve.

Metroid was one of the first console hits to have it's direct sequel exclusively on a portable system.
