simba and notch were the two that led the marsh pride, simba was killed by toher lion moales not by notch. Simba and notch are the two males that kill a hyena if you search it up 'lions kill hyenas' king says ' out of the two, simba is now boss of the marsh pride' and that was back in 2002.

@schoolboi180 Simba I believe was the male of the Marsh Pride before Notch took over with his buddy. Simba would have either been killed by Notch or chased out into being a nomad male.

@jor1116 If you mean the interlude clips, they are from later episodes - if you watch all of Series 3 you will eventually find them all. If you mean the stuff from the Big Cat Diary intro then I don't think you will find those, they were probably edited up from older footage.

@chenjunyang In the Marsh Pride since 1998 theres only been four main lionesses, Bibi and Lispi, Red and White Eye -- nowadays the pride have only three main lionesses resulting from the recent death of Red, plus an independant satellite group of females not too far away from the pride called The Three Graces.

Big Cat Diary/Week is so awesome,. it has fast become 1 of my favorite shows ever,.. I so wish I could be a cameraman or spotter in the Masai Mara. The people that bring us this great show deserve alot of credit. We should defend that special way of life and preserve it forever,.. its a very special place with beautiful animals carrying out survival of the fittest to its maximum.. Cheetahs rule!!
