@cocacolafredroblox Use under armor gloves and plastic or metal pieces that are formed for the purpose, then use a fabric adhesive to bind them together. No guarantees, but this should hold together.

I know he didn't reply, but i found that you can buy a basic pair of black gloves from the store, and a fairly thing sheet of plastic, say... Use a cutting board like I have, cut out the shapes using a dremmel and just spray paint them with the chrome spray paint, glue then on and there you have it.

@bluecbass77 I cut and tinted it my self. Its plexi glass that you can pick up at homedepot for around 5 bucks.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, I don't know much about plexi glass. It it flexible? If so how do you get it to hold it's shape? If it isn't flexible, how do you bend it, and get it to hold it's shape? (I'm making a Guy-Manuel helmet for Halloween, and possible a Thomas helmet for my buddy.)

@TheArchaebacteria I thought the exact same thing at first. Basically plexi glass is a plastic. You can cut it with a dremal, or have it professionally cut. And what i did was, draw the shape, cut it, and then turned my oven on to about 500 degrees. then i got leather gloves and held the plexi as close to the heated coils as possible until it started moving on its own, then i just slowly start bending it to the shape i needed. but it is extreamly tough at first. Good luck.

I could cut it to a manageable size, but I wouldn't know the shape to cut it to at first. Would it work to take a square and put it in the oven until it bends, and the place it over the helmet and press to shape it, then cut?

@TheArchaebacteria you could try, but it might get a wrinkly and deformed. You could also look up some tips and tricks to making it just right.

nice but before u papercraft ANYTHING u should check reference pictures, some things on this helmet look a little off scale, the average Daft fan wont notice but then you'll get the fanboy wannabe's who complain about anything...and i mean ANYTHING

@noobgotowned basically, i just sketched out the pieces on paper and then stuck the pieces on a taco bell cup and cut them all out. then i just spray painted them silver.
