Go to numbersusa and look at DWS voting record on immigration, she has a grade of f minus by numbersusa, one of the worst in washington.
America is not a nation of immigrants, it is a nation of citizens that have wanted LESS legal immigartaion and ZERO illegal immigration and recieved the opposite from their traitors in washington.
Wasserman minus Shultz is an embarrassment to Florida.
I am voting for Donna Milo in the primary election on August 24th. We need Donna in office to restore faith in our government and to bring back honest representation for the citizens.
Doesn't anyone here see what really happened in NY-23?
Dede was as much a Republican as Major Hasan is a patriot
(for those who don't know, he was the Muslim who, thanks to all the crying about being PC and stereotyping crap, was able to infiltrate our ranks and went on a rampage in Fort Hood)
The GOP had no business putting up a liberal in the race. The Conservative candidate was beating both Dem and Rep by a HUGE margin. Then Dede drops out and throws her support to the Democrat.
Okay, there's a fine line between jumping the shark on the implications for Democrats and COMPLETELY disregarding some of the trends and demographics going on. The Democrats need to unite around Progressive legislation and President Obama needs to START LEADING on domestic policy, which he simply hasn't been doing. Letting Olympia Snowe and Joe Lieberman dictate the final outcome of the health bill simply won't cut it. If Obama doesn't step up, he WILL be a one-term President.
Even though I'm always happy to see the GOP implode, I wish there was a conservative movement that wasn't dominated by nuts. Not every single conservative idea is bad, but they have no one representing them that isn't batshit insane these days.
The point is that the neo-con right wing/Teabaggers from outside the state spent millions and sent in their minions to work for Hoffman, and the Republican party trashed their own candidate and went along. It backfired on them - that district would rather have a Dem. than a Teabagger and they haven't had a Dem in 100 years.
I fully support Republicans and Conservatives competing with each other to see how doctrinaire and extreme they can be, for them to drive more moderates out of the GOP, until they only represent the Westboro Baptist Church and the Klan.
I pledge not to prevent them from doing so but will encourage their purification campaign until the end.
Since NoCenorshipyt, who banned me from her page after she went on mine and called me an "asshole" (before I even knew her) is in fact a right-winger, she would rather die than admit her party needs moderates to extend past the Mason-Dixon line.
The rest of us are glad that a district which has been republican since civil war (IINM) had elect a democratic over a conservative party candidate.
The fact that the losing conservative party candidate was supported by the "Tea party" people and Sarah Palin is like "icing on the cake," so to speak.

A year ago, the Dems announced that the Republican party was done and now they are announceing that the Republican party is 'eating themselves"?
So, what are the libs so scared of?
DD826 2 years ago
Right now, conservatives don't neccessarily need a majority. The conservatives just need a LEADER in office. Right now, there is none.
Conservatives need to find these people and use them to replace those beltway republicans.
DD826 2 years ago
What the "beltway republicans" are saying is, conservatives cannot take back this country without them.
The fact is, we cannot do it with them and don't care to.
Right now, the beltway republicans allowed this to happen and contributed to it.

Republicans won 4 to 1 yesterday.
I wouldn't say that represents a party that's falling APART!
More like a party finding it's way BACK!
IN YOUR FACE OBAMA!

Yep, the neo-cons were REJECTED and hats off to DeDe - she got the last laugh on this one.
Bottom line is that the likes of Palin,Beck and Limbaugh are still the kiss of death .
