Not even close. We have many interdisciplinary pieces of evidence that all fit together perfectly. I care because I hate it when people dismiss actual knowledge because of some bronze age belief. We also have Germ-Theory, Gravity Theory, Tectonic Plate Theory, Theory of Relativity, ect. Theory is the highest form of scientific knowledge. Theories have been held up to tremendous scrutiny and passed the test. They are NOT hypothesis'.

The Gospels where not written by eye witnesses cause they where written from 60 year to 300 years after the suposed death of jesus.

Evil dictators and world leaders of the past that abused their econonmic and political positions are not an excuse to deny that Jesus prefered socialism over capitalism. Herer's the deal about Socialism.
Socialism manipulates the meaning of charity as they appeal for more money in the guise of charity...even using religious figures to bring a sense of legitimacy to their complex larceny. The ones who do not care, are the ones who pay the least, or the ones recieving the giveaways.

If republicans truly cared about the deficit like they claim they wouldnt extend the Bush tax cuts they have no way to pay for, its 40 Billion dollars lost over 10 years going to the people who crashed our economy. @mjswans Capitalism brought the recession from allowing big businesses to ship jobs overseas, cut regulations and have lobbyists write bills. Capitalism failed you and thats why we are in the hole right now, because supply side economics fucked you, hard. Cutting taxes and spending is a sure way to make the problem worse because it puts no focus on the debt, and dont blame Obama because the debt was there before him. Socialists are told to whine about 'capitalism'. This is a ruse to get the busy public into thinking that corporations are bad retroactively. The purpose of the chronic 'whine' is to justify their own greed and theft in taking more taxes for ridiculous programs across the board.

@dom44444 Regulation and taxation were chains, then when Clinton...(leftist) opened the doors wide to Communist China in MFNTS (whereas they PRC once were seen as a pariah on the international scene for their human rights abuses, which go on today)...Communist Chinese were someone Clinton could do business with. So now we lose 20 billion a month in trade imbalance with China.
This after 45 years of a cold war was won. Victory turned into defeat by the homegrown socialists, same as Viet Nam.
