  • What a lady - pure class.

  • at some point we all have to stop the BS of Democrat or Republican...it has come a time that we all are AMERICANS...sorry guys that is how I feel...and that comment "Good Riddance" well that is so wrong on so many levels....Let's unite or else let's give up...and DAMN IT I am not ready to do that quite yet!!!

  • @tjb706 How old are you? If you know anything about the Reign of Terror which this aged cunt and her hick of a husband brought against the GIs, the poor, the best and brightest of this country, indifferently all the while, you'd wisen the fuck up. Where's the video of thousands of dead Americans and millions of "gooks?" Non-partisan, indeed, this has nothing to do with party labels: they're ALL war criminals.

  • Good Riddance!

  • @Gravalgia what a horrid thing to say

  • "When Lyndon arrived they all went into a conference room and you could just feel the atmosphere. When Lyndon came out... he was red in the face... he took my hand and said, 'Those god damned Kennedys will never embarrass me again. That's not a threat. That's a promise!'"

  • She had a Mammy...

  • wish there was a way to contact ms.Johnson...her daughter...I think wre distant cousins

  • Whenever I drive down the interstate highways of my home state of North Carolina and see all the beautiful wildflowers along the way....I think of Lady Bird Johnson...........

  • does anyone know the artist and song used in this video ?

  • It's Goodbye by Audio Adrenaline.

  • That's sad about the billboard companies trampling on her hard work. They should be ashamed. Here in Illinois they cut down everything natural and beautiful. It's shameful. Who's going to take her place??

  • I like the fact that she liked wild flowers. She tried to keep them flourishing. Otherwise, didn't like her husband,,,,,,,but she was truly a lady.

  • If she hadn't passed away, I might have been able to see her, but I did get to see her Ornament they made for her and it was a pretty one.

Keep Texas Beautiful people and stand up for what's right! RIP Lady.

  • Other than her less-than-ethical participation in the founding of her financial base, Mrs. Johnson was a lady of remarkable strength. She had a dignity and dedication that we have seen in few First Ladies, and we are still proud of her in Texas.

  • What a lovely tribute and song to a lovely lady. Rest in peace sweet Lady Bird, under the wildflowers of Texas.

  • Yes she was quite the lady married to a adulterer. Ive read ALL books concerning Lyndon, NOT exactly a swell guy, but she hung in there like women of the period often did. Pretty much as Hillary is doing now. Power is more important than a faithfull husband. Many others still wonder about the JFK thing also. The guy was a tirant, plain and simple. Lady Bird put up with this crap. Geez!Great Gal!

  • A beautiful tribute for a beautiful lady. Rest in peace Lady Bird!

  • Beautiful Lady Bird, you made me proud to be from East Texas... and made us all proud to be Americans. Godspeed dear lady, and now may you guide us as an angel, looking over these United States at a time when we need you most.

  • I was driving with my sons down an interstate lined with wildflowers when the news broke that Mrs. Johnson had died. As I looked over to the sea of wildflowers, I thought "There is the perfect tribute." Godspeed, Lady Bird!

  • Very moving. She's barely buried and the outdoor advertising industry is already attacking the Highway Beautification Act.

    Sad Texan

  • This such a wonderful tribute to such an exstraordinary woman...Rest in Peace Mrs. Johnson...

Who sings this song, its awesome....

  • Kudos - wonderful video! Song is "Goodbye" by Audio Adrenaline. The song is on iTunes.

  • She was such a sweet lady. We will miss you Lady Bird...

  • Thanks for this.best tribnute here for a lovely woman.Rip

  • Very well done tribute!

  • beautiful..love the song...what's the name? singer? thanks
