This guy is front of a panel of highly educated white people. No wonder why it did not pass. We need to fight back with an educated white person arguing these points. Somebody please help us. What about that ex-judge from California? He is pro-medicinal marijuana and a great litigater. Why are dillay dalling around with this as medicinal? Lets go for the jugular and pass it for recreation use. Do we use alcohol for medicinal use or recreation?

i wanna kill that bitch in the beginning. HOW ARE OUR REPS SO FUCKING STUPID!!!!!!! the worst part about america is you can watch stuff like this, yet can do nothing about the arrogent pricks that like to rule over us.
Who is the jerk in the beige suit & navy tie who keeps laughing? (Just to the left of Rep. Jones) I wonder how much he'd laugh if he lived with the severe chronic pain & other horrendous symptoms that I do every day, and without relief as I do. I wish I knew his name.
That gentleman is Rep. Neumann from Mecklenburg County. He has been overheard in the halls of the General Assembly making rude comments about this legislation, but We Do Not Think the Sick & Suffering Patients in his district think it is funny, nor do we. It is amazing how many of these "so-called" representatives would think it funny if they were suffering like the patients in their district. Shame on you, Rep. Neumann.
Well played indeed. I think the sponsor handled himself with the utmost grace pointing all all the good rebuttals. About addiction and side affects i can't see how being a reporter confirms someones knowledge on marijuana addiction and side affects. If that's true then being a reporter makes you an expert witness on just about anything.
Who is this woman that is so ill-informed? The "legal" patients that receive medical marijuana from NC have been studied after 20 years of use. None have suffered with any ill side effects, no depression, anxiety.
This woman says she researched the research, then she would have found there have been 4 separate studies with FDA-Approved marijuana with human beings in phase 111. The lawmakers of this state seem to think sick, suffering and dying patients are funny instead of deserving dignity.
I could have done a better job then this man. I appreciate what he's standing for however. The questions were horrible and easily answered by common sense, and a little bit of research. Reefer madness seems to have a hold on many of these people. They just aren't educated in the field.
This bill will never pass in NC with this guy representing our issue. Debate class and better research....

If this is how all bills are passed and how poorly spoken about all things in legislation go, than no wonder this country is so screwed up.

The pressure would be tough up there. It would be monumental if, whats stereotyped as a redneck bible belt state, were to pass medical marijuana.
