raise the chao from a baby (hatched from an egg). When it's halo turns spiky, it means its evil and the evil garden will appear. If it turns circle, hero garden will appear.

Take care of the chao by using a good character to turn the chao to good, evil characters to turn the chao to evil.

btw for those who hate to feed chao, there is this cheat where u grab an animal, any animal and give it to him like from distance, ie: you normally give animals to ur chao by getting close to them, what you want to do this time is to grab your chao, put it down and pet him once, then in front of him, with the animal in hand, (not 2 close, not 2 far) drop the animal and ur chao will eat it but instead, u can re-use the animal, repeat this as much as u please and den use dog to remove animal parts

Alternate between Hero and Dark characters when playing with your chao and giving him animals, and give it yellow chaos drives and animals in the yellow group (seal, penguin, and sea otter). It should have horns starting to grow on its head after a while, and it will turn green.

to make the chao wear a hat, take it to school all the time to become smart, also feed your chao so it can grow. Just give a broken egg shelll, wolly hear or big apple to the chao and the chao will wear it.

To make it look cute, just give giving it different animals, experiment!

I swear I really hated raising Chaos. The repetition of the music, the slow upgrades of the stats, and simply the fact that the chao becomes weaker if you use those propeller things and the animals. The fact that you have to keep buying Chao Fruits to level them up drove me insane because sometimes the Black Market didn't currently have them and you had to come back later and waste all of your rings.

If you have both gardens i put one of my neutrals into the dark garden and let it sit there all night (I forgot to turn it off -_-)

it changed.But if you dont,then pet and train it with iether shadow or sonic (The two i use) and it should cocoon.
