You can add Patricia Hefferan, Attorney at Law in Wasilla, AK, 907-376-2439, to the list of scums in Wasilla. She is as evil as they come and loves to follow her own rules. She gets away with her practice of law because she thinks she is the law. If you have any dealings with this Attorney please report her to the Board of Attorneys.
I'm as a Canadian( you like it or not fucking red necks from the USA ) I agree with Obama. Mckain is an old fart, Stupid, ignorant and a pedophile. Sarah Palin is a bitch, and the most ignorant person from the USA. but of course, the smart people from her country, elected her as governor. No wonder the USA is in the mess or shit right now.
Sarah Palin once said:South Africa is part of a great country called Africa????. She didn't know the three countries that belonged to NAFTA. ( Canada, USA, Mexico ) Foreign relations experience??: I can see Russia from my house.??? what a STUPID BITCH.
Bad news for you is that Sarah Paiin is definitely in your future. This slick-talking, socialist, muslim-sympathizing TV preacher wannabe is going to get tarred, feathered and run out of town on a rail as soon as people start figuring out how bad they've been screwed by him and his pals. And the "figuring out" has begun.
Where's their "obama watch:How many controversies can the former senator's presidency survive"
From the 11 tax cheats he appointed to his hut-dwelling brother - to his lack of birth proof - to the numerous lawsuits invalidating his presidency in CURRENT courts - to his failure to shoot down to North Korean test missle -to his firing of Wagener and personal takeover of GM - to his numerous czar appointees thereby usurping the power of the people's elected officials, oops I am out of room, etc
what a pathetic misrepresentation of facts. All these accusations have been nullified. The press wants to get rid of Palin as fast as they can because she is the people's representative. They have yet to succeed....
The dick cheese you smell is coming from your mom's room, your room is right next door. 45 years old and living with mom, welcome to Barack HUSSEIN Obama's Amerikka!
seka1986 are you the porn star?? you really like cock, you know how to suck dick until the last drop, you like to take it up your ass. you take up to three guys at the time you hungry slut... Damnnnnn Seka i like you, please suck my balls, you must be George Bush in disguise.
Shame on you for your lies, your deception concerning Palin. You are like twisted communists, turning evil into virtue and virtue into lies. You are complete hypocrites and any normal person would choke on the filth you spew...join the Nazis, the Fascists and the Communists in the Propaganda Hall of Fame.
Sarah Palin is no more than a Political prostititute for the republicans. She reminds me of the hooker in "Pretty Woman." The only difference is that in "Pretty Woman" the hooker was able to keep her clothes while the Republican Tricks tried to retrieve all of their items after they were done screwing and using Palin!
Programs implemented under the Clinton administration did fine because the regulatory mechanisms within the government were strong. Under the Bush administration, the government agenicies were dismantled and deregulation prevailed-resulting in a Wild West mentality of "lawlessness" amongst corporatations. Greed prevailed and wealth became concentrated within a small group-thereby creating a bubble and economic crises which is spreading globally! We can thank the Rethuglicans for our plight!
This woman is rediculous, but waht do expect from hazzard county. she is abusive to her own state, and she has the nerve to be a critic to someon else. the republican parly unleashed the anti christ.
Well my question is, if we're in such a rut right now with the economy how are gonna able to afford all this new technology that Obama wants to use and how do we even know if its gonna work? It would be a complete waste of time and money if his call for new technology didn't work. The only way i know is to tax big corps which provide people with jobs and raising corporate sales tax which i don't agree with
Spending rose over 600 billion dollars during the first term of the bush administration, he didn't exercise his veto power, pork barrel spending rose over 121%.
The fact is that there has to be investments in infrastructure and technology or we'll never be efficient enough to get out of the hole we're in. First you're like "don't blame bush" now you're like "what if obama fails" try and pick a topic.
btw, not that you're responding any more but every economist determined that even with all of "the goodies" in obama's plan it still undercut McCain's plan on the deficit by over 200 billion. Another thing, how many businesses have you seen ever be successful without using new technology? With our infrastructure rotting and technology falling behind there's little doubt there needs to be an overhaul for improvement.
Bushs' problem was that he didn't have much in his power to stop these closures from happening and he could[ve at least tried to do something about it
Oookay, and this addresses the exponential spending increase how? Yes the economy was having apparent growth that was faster, but spending was outgrowing that and previous administration spending increases by a far higher degree...that has nothing to do with how the economy does.
If you look at the spending increases of previous administrations it's nearly linear, it hits exponential under Bush's administration.
the banks were spending money by giving out these loans and no one was paying their mortgages, down payments, or property taxes. Clinton raised taxes on others to support this, it was all coming from our taxes and others went broke because of it
The truth is that everyone is at fault to an extent, but trying to blame it on "just the liberals" is a miserable cop out, bush had plenty of power he could have exercised but he chose to not do it even once during his first four years to prevent excessive spending so he has a lot of blame for why he's unpopular...that and getting us into a war with a country that didn't even attack us making us one of the most hated countries in the world, I equally blame congress for giving him that power.
yes I know you're not "just blaming the liberals" but you certainly have that particular tone especially at the beginning of this conversation that it's just "liberal bias" or that "liberals had a lot to do with it" or "bush had little power". I feel sorry for the guy being hated, but on the same coin most of it is his own fault, he's taken away some freedom, gotten us into a war we shouldn't be in, increased spending by an insane amount amongst other things, much was within his power to stop
Sorry, but it's really hard to double the national debt with little power. There were things he was trying to pass that some "liberals" thought were excessive. Sure he didn't do it alone, I'm not saying that, but saying he had little power during those years is just silly. During the Clinton years the deficit was around 80 billion dollars give or take, under Bush's administration it's closer to 500 billion dollars, seriously, gimmie a break.
Of course he didn't do it on his own, Republicans had control of everything for about the first 6 years of his presidency, he had plenty of help, where did I assert it was "only bush".
You didn't, and even though the economy was excellent for the most part of clintons terms the economy started to slip in the middle of his 2nd term. Reason is, Clinton wanted banks to give out loans for house payments to poor people who couldn't afford to pay them back and giving them bad loans. He kept doing that and that's when the economy started to fall. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were raising property taxes through the roof causing alot of housing closures.
The reason why fox ranked lower is because it's the only few media news stations there is. Comedy shows that involve political satire which can also be bias (not always though) rank higher is because it's funny and people love that stuff
uh...it ranked lower than nearly every other news organization if not every, paper publications, online publications and comedy shows in nearly every survey I read regarding current events knowledge being associated with where people generally get their news sources from. What surveys are you reading? I hear bad rationalizations but it doesn't hold up to actual scrutiny.
i also get my sources from current information where people get news sources from. how did you even come across these surveys is what id like to know?
Yeah did you also forget that there were alot of democrats that also decided to vote for McCain too? If Obama's way more conservative than McCain than McCain must be way more liberal than Obama
Uh, I said he was more middle of the road, might want to read what I typed rather than what you're thinking. McCain actually used to be very liberal pre election season so a lot of liberals used to like him and saw him as someone willing to reach across the isle, that changed as soon as the election season started and he flipped on a lot of the policies that made him that kind of guy. Like I said, Obama's more of a Moderate conservative than a "hard core liberal"
I said Obama was middle ground, as soon as the campaigning started McCain slid far right. Pre-election season McCain had a lot of liberal policies, now he doesn't. Try looking up what McCain's old and new stances seriously.
The reason why i didn't point out their associations (and they're not 100% innocent either) is because other people do enough of that already. The media is mostly bias mainly supporting the Democrats. In terms of negative campaigning both parties were really bad about that. As for the whole respect thing i was trying to say that you have to respect them as a person as well
"The reason why i didn't point out their associations (and they're not 100% innocent either) is because other people do enough of that already."
Then why spam about the Obama ones that were drilled into McCain's propaganda despite him not wanting to touch the preacher thing at the beginning of the campaign.
um, no, most cases McCain didn't have to because it wasn't made an issue by the Obama campaign. News organizations asked about some same people that McCain associated with in similar ways and he dodged it for the most part.
Obama not only addressed them, but basically goated McCain during the last debate to bring it up so he could address it. Obama also denounced what his past Rev. said, not sure what more you'd really want.
"In terms of negative campaigning both parties were really bad about that."
Don't you think it wasn't the least bit imbalanced? There's plenty of adds where Obama just talks about what he wants to do, most of McCain's adds were just about attacking Obama.
"As for the whole respect thing i was trying to say that you have to respect them as a person as well"
And I'm saying that's bs, a position doesn't earn respect, a person earns the respect I don't care what position they have.
Sorry? Only positive adds I see are ones where a gov. endorses him, most of the adds attack or mention Obama just so he can mention a falsehood about what Obama wants to do. There's many more adds on Obama's page which list by topic what Obama wants to do, various speeches, yes there's some negative ads, but when you've got ads associating people with fraud or terrorists, saying a guy is out of touch is rather mild.
"The media is mostly bias mainly supporting the Democrats."
Since when? Ever watch Faux news? I guess comedians are Democrat biased too right? Heck, Obama was reported as the "most liberal of liberals" whatever that means, he's more of a middle ground conservative which is why a lot of republicans voted for Obama as well, well that and Palin's complete inadequacy for the presidency despite McCain's reassurance that she was adequate.
It's Fox not Faux and yes i do watch that station and i listen to am radio. Those are the only 2 conservative news stations. Everything else such as MTV, C-SPAN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC,CNN, hollywood (for the most part), schools, colleges, the entertainment industry are all liberal. Alot of states like California and NY have been liberal for 30 years, and there's more. Democrats until 1994 had unlimited power in congress and senate for 60 years straight.
Sorry? At the beginning of the bush administration Republicans essentially had all of the power till the most recent two years where Bush's approval rating is in the toilet. Did you know that people surveyed watching Fox news actually tend to know less about the world than before watching it? Might want to take that into consideration before considering the statement that Fox is a reliable network.
yeah they only had power for 12 years where as the Dems up until then had power for 60 years. 12 years is nothing compared to the 60 that Democrats had. and the rating thing on fox is a lie
To give you an idea at why I call it Faux News, various surveys were done regarding current events and knowledge of views, Fox news viewers ranked lower on knowledge on current events than viewers of The Daily Show, a comedy show. Fox News in recent years has done worse than nearly every news organization if not every news organization in regards to good information. Don't you find it disturbing that a comedy show ranks higher than Fox in that regard?
I hope that she will now keep her dumb butt in Alaska and spends time teaching her children to make smarter choices in their lives. Sarah ....be a hands on Mother!!!!
What about Obama and is connections w/ fannie mae, rashid khalidi, william ayers, and rev. wright. He denied/lied about all those connections/allegations. The LA times refused to release the Obama-Khalidi Bash Tape because it's a liberal news source being endorsed by the obama administration as are most news-media sources to cover himself. However, if that video had Sarah Palin or McCain in it, they'd have that released to the press in no time, bit of a double standard eh?
lol how about talking about something that's relevant. If you really care about that stuff your priorities are ass backwards with a double standard. What about McCain's preacher that thinks that gays cause natural disasters or a domestic terrorist of a witch doctor as your preacher, or all of the "connections" that also apply equally to McCain if used under the same scrutiny. If obama made half the mistakes as McCain this election it would have been over.
where did you hear about McCains preacher saying that? Id like to know more about that. Obama hasn't been in politics long enough to make mistakes but granted he will make some during his time in the oval office. Obama hasn't been in politics long enough to make mistakes and gain alot of experience. Experience comes from making mistakes as well as doing things right the first time
"Obama hasn't been in politics long enough to make mistakes"
Uh, refer to Palin's disapproval ratings in such a short time and tell me that again. Your experience argument is actually pretty moot because stupid people can make bad decisions and never learn from them, educated people that show intelligence can make educated decisions and at the very least learn from them.
McCain's preacher has said worse...I'm sure if you just Google "McCain's preacher" you can see a lot.
Ok so i failed to mention that ppl never learn from their mistakes, my bad. People make mistakes whether they're educated or not, no one's perfect it's just being human. Yes, Sarah could've said things differently but fact is she screwed up and if she's gonna campaigne again in 2012 then she still has 4 years to smooth things over.
ya, like learn that Africa's not a country, what the VP actually does, how to form a proper sentence (I'm not a grammar police kind of person, but come on), learn about the policies that concern the American public, etc, etc.
Yes, no one's perfect, no one claimed to be, but educated people will tend to make less mistakes or at least make more educated decisions, sorry but I want an elite person to be president as much as I want an elite person to do surgery.
My grammar's ok for the most part i chose to abbreviate the word people to ppl kinda like how people do that when they're texting. I know the things that concerns america some just have different concerns than others
not particularly, personally what concerns me while someone is running is how they run their campaign, if they work well with the public, if their ideas and methods are progressive, how intelligent their plans are, whether economic experts agree with the methods, their support for freedoms in the public's eye, their vp picks....all of this guilt by association stuff is worthless when they have nothing to do with the policies that matter.
Well stated, the fact is obama is president and even though i didn't vote for him the only thing left to do is just wait to see what he will/not do and he is the president and those (other than me) who didn't vote for him will just have to respect that now
well, you don't have to respect him just because of the position, technically he isn't even president till Jan 20th. I don't respect bush and he's still president though I still do respect the position of power. Honestly I might have voted for McCain till the negative campaigning, the Sarah Palin pick and honestly his policies aren't as good, I respected the old McCain from 2000, this new one just wasn't the same McCain.
Honestly though, if those sorts of guilt by association really matters so much to you how come you don't point out all of Palin's or McCain's guilt by associations? Then you accuse everyone else of a double standard.
Frankly it doesn't matter to me unless they're a primary adviser, I care more about the policies, who they pick for vp and why.
McCain, who is worried about losing the election while Obama, is worried about Americans losing their homes and their jobs. Its clear who is truly for the better interests of the American people. Its not McCain and thats a fact.
Obama's economic policy will cost people their jobs. What do you think tax hikes for the rich equate to? They will cut whatever costs they need to in order to make their businesses profitable - couple this with raising minimum wage and that translates to unskilled labor being replaced with mechanization or just downsizing. Also, keeping these people in homes they can't afford is just the sort of policy that got us into the subprime crisis in the first place. Policy from a Democratic congress...
Hmmmm... yeah, he is going to keep taxes for the 250k tax bracket the same - he's said NOTHING about above that (which most mid-sized companies are above that in gross revenue) AND raising minimum wage.... Just sit back and enjoy the ride, it'll be a fun one :) Oh, and Clinton was very cooperative with a Conservative Congress - I don't see much reaching across the aisle this term...
Well, if you paid attention to what he was saying, you would have heard his desire to work together across the aisle. But you are right, he has no need to, other than to be inclusive.
He has SAID that he will raise $250+ to pre Bush cuts. Look it up on his website.
Having owned my own business for 8.5 years that depends on minimum wage employees (restaurant) It would have killed me to have my taxes raised and an increase in the min. wage.
Entrepreneurs create jobs, not government intervention. History has shown this and it stands the test of time. McCain's economic policy is appropriate for the recessive times we're facing and Obama's counter-productive, big-government ideology will only cause harm to this country. Taking responsibility for our actions as consumers and living within our means is essential for the economy to rebound, and bailouts are not the answer. Did I cosign for Joe-blow's loan? Nope. Actions have consequences
Are you all serious?! Look at the other side of the facts instead of what liberal media stations tell you. Obama has spent 3x more $ on media ads for his campaigne than McCain has, well this false add sure does prove it.
Obama actually lost alot of funding for his campaigne than McCain has and obama has wasted his money on false accusations
...LMAO...she just keeps digging her shit hole deeper and deeper...If she wins the spot for Vice President, all of America as we know it is screwed...even more than it is now lol.
oops wtf... that comment i made was suposed to be for a different video.. somehow when i restarted the comment because it was too long the video switched and i didnt notice lol
I like how the title says Alaska rallies againts Sarah Palin.. how many people do you think live in alaska? 100? because that looks like about 100 people and ive seen more people at the fuckin South Hill Mall and if you think 100 people againts Palin counts as ALL OF "Alaska" then you need too learn how too count man
I know you obviosly have a predefine opinion, and nothing I can say will ever change it, so I wont eve try. I understand that when people are making a point, they often polorize the facts, but common its an exponentially higher number of people than 100. Cant you count, it was in the thousands. I dont claim that its a lot, but you need to know the context. What city is this rally in, and what is it's population. If you know that then it is possible to compute a proportional conclusion.
flagsandstaff--"McCain and Palin continue to tacitly incite violence by (incredibly) refusing to respond to the lunatics in their audiences who increasingly threaten Sen. Obama with violence."
______wait so somehow McCain has something too do with violent people at Obama's campaigns? How the hell does that make sense..
...I think you read the quotation wrong lol..there were violent people at McCain/Palin's campaign making death threats and what-not in regards to Obama...not violent people regarding Obama at Obama's campaign.
McCain and Palin continue to tacitly incite violence by (incredibly) refusing to respond to the lunatics in their audiences who increasingly threaten Sen. Obama with violence.
McCain and Palin are callous, self-serving individuals running an indecent, vile campaign.
If violence should - heaven forbid - befall Sen. Obama, then McCain and Palin must be held as complicit.
We're a very rich county, but our Prime minister doesn't make more than 145,855 a year and he has the highest payed political office in the country. A judge makes more, and so does a university professor, but not by much. So you can be sure they're not in it for the money, strickt goverment controll has it's advantages.
That woman is sicker than i ever imagined, I'm completly shocked. Doesn't the american goverment have more controll over it's politicians? In Norway at the slightest hint of something like this a politician would lose their job and reputation, the norwegian people would be outraged. Said politican would never be able to work in politics again. And besides our politicians doesn't make those amounts of money that they make in the US.
Of Obama becomes the next "jfk" years from now... (not the assassination bit, the national hero bit) ... people will look back on the McCain campaign very negatively for what they are doing now.
JOHN McCAIN/SARAH PA-LYING & their racist KLU KLUX KLAN lynch mob like rallies have descended so low, dug so deep into the unlimited slime of Karl Rove's bottomles garbage can to come up with false & sleazy ads attacking Obama, that I've lost all respect for them.
Hateful & Racists McCAIN & PA-LYING have no self-respect, no moral values, no honor or integrity left.
OBAMA kept the HIGH-ROAD & kept us focused on the SERIOUS ISSUES we all faced.
I am so sick of all this media and political crap. It makes me so fucking angry, it has just gotten so ridiculous now.
I don't even live in the US, but when clips of your TV broadcasts are shown here, with each station so obviously spinning out its own political agenda, it just drives me fucking insane. I don't know how you people in the US put up with it.
Fuck the election, I propose a tag team fight to the death between Obama/Biden and McCain/Palin. Winners get the oval office.
I never been so upset over politic like what have been going on lately with the way the McCain/Palin running their campaign, they twisted everything over again and again, dirty politic, and of course they get away with it times after times! Obama has been such a gentleman, he was trying to run a clean campaign and no personal attack, but of course the McCain's campaign never stop their smear campaign over and over again. God PLEASE HELP US ALL, we don't need this woman or McCain as our leaders.
Shady, very shady. Negative, just negative. Can't trust, she gives me no reason to trust and put faith in her, don't want a shady and negative individual as VP. Just isn't good for America. Plain and simple, just isn't a good idea.
More currently, there are questions regarding Palin's joint income tax returns.
For the 2007 tax year, Todd Palins self-employment brought him $66,893 in gross receipts: $49,893 from fishing: and $17,000 from snowmachine racing. But, the returns show, he claimed so many deductions he reported only $15,513 net profit from the fishing operation and claimed a $9,639 loss from his racing, leaving overall net income of only $5,874.
There is question if snowmobile racing a business or is it a hobby?
Why not compare this to Obama's involvement in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (and how much money he and his advisers have made/robbed there!!) ... and in the Acorn voting fraud scandel that he was involved in. Search here for these very important topics. Keep your eyes open ... a Vice Pres with a few splinters size of 'questionable actions' - is probably better than a Pres with a 'tree size' corruption history. Don't decide before honestly looking for the truth!
Lets stay on this person she is a bad decision by mccain and should not be a bad decision by americans.
We need serious people with serious policy changes. Another 4yrs of a republican would be a bad decision. The republican ethos is a failed one, and we are suffering that failed ethos now, and can not afford to continue these republicans.
It is illegal in Alaska to fail to comply with legislative subpoenas. But Todd Palin has announced he will do exactly that which the law prohibits because nothing can be done about it until after the election, and even then, it's unlikely much will be done to punish him for breaking the law. Sarah Palin has similarly ordered all of her aides to refuse to comply with these subpoenas even though doing so is illegal, because she, too, doubts there will be consequences for this illegal behavior.
McCain wanted 'window dressing' for his campaign and that is what he got...on the order of 'Ellie Mae Clampett'-a pretty 'hick from nowhere.' It worked for about a month. Then the conservatives lost so much confidence in her that they wisely muzzled her, until last nights 'I can see Russia from Alaska therefore I can do foreign policy' speech. Oops! Put lipstick on a pig and you still have Sarah Palin. TIME TO TELL MCCAIN THANKS BUT NO THANKS FOR THE HICK FROM NOWHERE'
She needs to quit her lying and she needs to stop whining. If you want to run with the big dogs you have to be able to take the heat. She is No Hillary Rodham Clinton and shouldnt give advice to Hillary . She has nothing on Hillary at all.
9/11 came in the wake of the Clinton administration. There's plenty of blame to go around. You can say bad things about Bush: he's inarticulate; he made mistakes; his information was wrong. One thing you can't say about Bush is that he did nothing. He did plenty. He attacked. President Obama would have sent emergency invitations to Osama Bin Laden, Al Qaeda any other "victims of the great satan" to discuss their feelings at the United Nations.
You don't know what President Obama would have done and obviously you don't speak for him. But I hope he would have stayed focused on getting Bin Laden who was NOT in Iraq!
When he wasn't perched comfortably on the fence he was preferring soft power to hard power. Obama's long record speaks volumes about what he would have done in response to the 9/11 attacks. Because of Bush, Osama Bin Ladin remains in hiding, and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed(beheaded Daniel Pearl and was the master mind behind 9/11) several high level Al Qaida officers, and dozens of mid-level Al Qaida operatives have been captured.
How much foreign policy experience did former US presidents and vice presidents have? Lincoln? Truman? Kennedy? LBJ? Without toughness, shrewdness, and cynical realpolitik to go along with it, experience is worthless. A lot of good Neville Chamberlain's decades of foreign policy experience did him as Hitler pissed all over his shoes.
Judging by some of the responses here, I guess if Sarah Palin herself said "Hey, you really cant trust me and I'm as fake as they come" some of you would still say "Thats a conspiracy to invent scandal and make Palin look bad".
Don't be naive. The original purpose of the investigation probably was to find the truth. Since Palin's naming as McCain's running mate however the investigation has taken on a new and sinister purpose: to monkey wrench the machinery of the McCain campaign. Palin must fight this attack. She must not cooperate with the "investigation," neither should anyone else, including Todd.
Umm... umm... you do understand that the motives of the investigation have nothing to do with the fact that they're investigating abuse of power as a public official right?
Look... either she has nothing to hide and so she should let them investigate, or she has something to hide, and we need to find out, because if McCain dies, (likely) she'll be the most powerful person in the world... She's abusing power in a state with less population than my city and you trust her with the fucking world?
No, makaisenki, it isn't as simple as she's either hiding something, or not. The investigation is now tainted by partisanship. The day after McCain picked her the Democrats began sending teams of lawyers to Alaska dig up whatever they can her on. So far, "Troopergate" is their best bet to hang her. Too many powerful people now have a stake in destroying her with this investigation. It is idiotic to think this "investigation" can ever be fair. Yes, I've seen and heard her. She's brilliant.
She's brilliant? So then killing wolves... which feed on Caribou, which eat grass... is brilliant? I'm sorry but that's dangerous. If they kill too many wolves they might end up killing too many and then the Caribou will start to starve. That's not brilliant.
She doesn't understand foreign policy so she tries to pretend that war is the same as energy. She's intellectually small minded at best. The ABC interview shows that she doesn't have substance and she lies and contradicts herself A LOT!
The only fixed doctrines are the Monroe- and the Truman Doctrines. The Bush doctrine, coined by Charles Krauthammer, has 4 versions in 8 years. The 1st was withdrawal from ABM treaty and rejecting Kyoto. 2nd was, "with us or against us." The 3rd, (Gibson's version) was preemptive war. The 4th, the current version, means spreading democracy through the world. Yes, Palin didn't know, but neither did Gibson or Obama.
I didn't even fucking mention the Bush Doctrine. So the fact that you're pulling that little number out your ass... says something doesn't it?
I could have been talking about her lack of foreign policy experience and trying to make energy experience make up for that, I could have been talking about other details.
Even if she didn't know what the Bush Doctrine was, I didn't either. I was 13 around Bush being elected. I can't know everything. She could have asked, instead she lied with arrogance
makaisenki: Pull your head out of your ass. You brought up foreign policy. The Bush doctrine describes Bush's foreign policy. Palin's description of the Bush doctrine has been forefront in the news.
I brought up foreign policy. Forieng policy is not just 1 fucking god damned piece of intellectually devoid and evil legislation. It encompasses a LOT more than that.
SHE HAS NOT FOREIGN POLICY EXPERIENCE. SHE DIDN'T COMMAND THE NATIONAL GUARD FOR FOREIGN POLICY DECISIONS.
I'm dead serious I was not focusing on the Bush Doctrine. It's your head up your ass trying to defend someone that is not ready for the VP. She's not a candidate, she's tryouts for the next Disney movie. "Pres. Hockey Mom"
If your opinions were based in history rather than on Matt Damon's remarks ("Disney movie. 'Pres. Hockey Mom," you might have something intelligent to say. Learn some history, history of presidents and vice presidents, specifically, and you will see that meeting dignitaries is not a necessary qualification for president, or vice president.
Dude I didn't bring up meeting with other freakin dignitaries. She said HERSELF that she hasn't been keeping up with the war.
She she's stated that she never paid much attention to it.
Quit putting words in my mouth. So I like that Disney joke. Who cares. You keep fucking putting words in my mouth by defending her on something I didn't even state.
When asked about her foreign policy experience she talks about her energy experience. I didn't say anything about dignitaries OR Bush Doctrine.
This discussion is about Palin. You brought up foreign policy and the Matt Damon quotes. I was happy to oblige you. Do you deny that questions about Palin meeting foreign dignitaries and her knowledge of the Bush doctrine, or perceived lack thereof, relate to foreign policy and are major issues in this debate?
I'm not being naive. I'm simply expressing an observation. You've strengthened my view by saying things like "the investigation has taken on a new and sinister purpose". Damn, sinister? We know the insulting reason why McCain chose her, we know that she talks in circles and lacks knowledge needed for the job and has a shady background and says some crazy things. Her existence is her worst enemy. No one has to slander her to paint a bad picture. Havent you SEEN and HEARD her?
RexLaboro: Yes, I've seen and heard her. She's brilliant. See my response to "makaisenki". You want Obama? He wants to disarm his own country. (Search "Obama wants to protect" on this site and listen to him yourself.) He wants to talk, to reason, with tyrants. The pacifist's fundamental mistake is that he and the tyrant have something in common on which to base peace and civility. When Obama's lofty dialogue fails and the tyrant attacks, what will we do without arms?
We'll have allies and we'll unleash hell. We went to Iraq on a lie we went to Iraq with very little support. It's a lot easier to gain support from allies if you're being attacked after attempting a diplomatic solution than to get allies by attacking first and finding nothing later.
We did not go to Iraq on a lie. We went to Iraq because the UN is all talk and no action. Speaking of the UN, Koffi Annan has met many dignitaries, more than Palin and more than Barack Obama. Since you seem to think meeting dignitaries is sufficient qualification for handling foreign policy, why don't we elect Koffi Annan president? This should make you happy as he will disarm America, too.

Well my question is, if we're in such a rut right now with the economy how are gonna able to afford all this new technology that Obama wants to use and how do we even know if its gonna work? It would be a complete waste of time and money if his call for new technology didn't work. The only way i know is to tax big corps which provide people with jobs and raising corporate sales tax which i don't agree with
hugBitCH 3 years ago
Spending rose over 600 billion dollars during the first term of the bush administration, he didn't exercise his veto power, pork barrel spending rose over 121%.
The fact is that there has to be investments in infrastructure and technology or we'll never be efficient enough to get out of the hole we're in. First you're like "don't blame bush" now you're like "what if obama fails" try and pick a topic.
garith21 3 years ago
btw, not that you're responding any more but every economist determined that even with all of "the goodies" in obama's plan it still undercut McCain's plan on the deficit by over 200 billion. Another thing, how many businesses have you seen ever be successful without using new technology? With our infrastructure rotting and technology falling behind there's little doubt there needs to be an overhaul for improvement.
garith21 3 years ago
Bushs' problem was that he didn't have much in his power to stop these closures from happening and he could[ve at least tried to do something about it
hugBitCH 3 years ago
Oookay, and this addresses the exponential spending increase how? Yes the economy was having apparent growth that was faster, but spending was outgrowing that and previous administration spending increases by a far higher degree...that has nothing to do with how the economy does.
If you look at the spending increases of previous administrations it's nearly linear, it hits exponential under Bush's administration.
garith21 3 years ago
the banks were spending money by giving out these loans and no one was paying their mortgages, down payments, or property taxes. Clinton raised taxes on others to support this, it was all coming from our taxes and others went broke because of it
hugBitCH 3 years ago
The truth is that everyone is at fault to an extent, but trying to blame it on "just the liberals" is a miserable cop out, bush had plenty of power he could have exercised but he chose to not do it even once during his first four years to prevent excessive spending so he has a lot of blame for why he's unpopular...that and getting us into a war with a country that didn't even attack us making us one of the most hated countries in the world, I equally blame congress for giving him that power.
garith21 3 years ago
yes I know you're not "just blaming the liberals" but you certainly have that particular tone especially at the beginning of this conversation that it's just "liberal bias" or that "liberals had a lot to do with it" or "bush had little power". I feel sorry for the guy being hated, but on the same coin most of it is his own fault, he's taken away some freedom, gotten us into a war we shouldn't be in, increased spending by an insane amount amongst other things, much was within his power to stop
garith21 3 years ago
Sorry, but it's really hard to double the national debt with little power. There were things he was trying to pass that some "liberals" thought were excessive. Sure he didn't do it alone, I'm not saying that, but saying he had little power during those years is just silly. During the Clinton years the deficit was around 80 billion dollars give or take, under Bush's administration it's closer to 500 billion dollars, seriously, gimmie a break.
garith21 3 years ago
hey bush didn't do it all on his own, he had help from Clinton and others such as fannie mae
hugBitCH 3 years ago
Of course he didn't do it on his own, Republicans had control of everything for about the first 6 years of his presidency, he had plenty of help, where did I assert it was "only bush".
garith21 3 years ago
You didn't, and even though the economy was excellent for the most part of clintons terms the economy started to slip in the middle of his 2nd term. Reason is, Clinton wanted banks to give out loans for house payments to poor people who couldn't afford to pay them back and giving them bad loans. He kept doing that and that's when the economy started to fall. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were raising property taxes through the roof causing alot of housing closures.

The reason why fox ranked lower is because it's the only few media news stations there is. Comedy shows that involve political satire which can also be bias (not always though) rank higher is because it's funny and people love that stuff
hugBitCH 3 years ago
uh...it ranked lower than nearly every other news organization if not every, paper publications, online publications and comedy shows in nearly every survey I read regarding current events knowledge being associated with where people generally get their news sources from. What surveys are you reading? I hear bad rationalizations but it doesn't hold up to actual scrutiny.
garith21 3 years ago

garith21 3 years ago
Yeah did you also forget that there were alot of democrats that also decided to vote for McCain too? If Obama's way more conservative than McCain than McCain must be way more liberal than Obama
hugBitCH 3 years ago
Uh, I said he was more middle of the road, might want to read what I typed rather than what you're thinking. McCain actually used to be very liberal pre election season so a lot of liberals used to like him and saw him as someone willing to reach across the isle, that changed as soon as the election season started and he flipped on a lot of the policies that made him that kind of guy. Like I said, Obama's more of a Moderate conservative than a "hard core liberal"
garith21 3 years ago
Actually i heard it the other way around, McCain was more conservative than Obama
hugBitCH 3 years ago
*palms face*
I said Obama was middle ground, as soon as the campaigning started McCain slid far right. Pre-election season McCain had a lot of liberal policies, now he doesn't. Try looking up what McCain's old and new stances seriously.
garith21 3 years ago
The reason why i didn't point out their associations (and they're not 100% innocent either) is because other people do enough of that already. The media is mostly bias mainly supporting the Democrats. In terms of negative campaigning both parties were really bad about that. As for the whole respect thing i was trying to say that you have to respect them as a person as well
hugBitCH 3 years ago
"The reason why i didn't point out their associations (and they're not 100% innocent either) is because other people do enough of that already."
Then why spam about the Obama ones that were drilled into McCain's propaganda despite him not wanting to touch the preacher thing at the beginning of the campaign.
garith21 3 years ago
Obama denied his bad associations just as much as McCain did
hugBitCH 3 years ago
um, no, most cases McCain didn't have to because it wasn't made an issue by the Obama campaign. News organizations asked about some same people that McCain associated with in similar ways and he dodged it for the most part.
Obama not only addressed them, but basically goated McCain during the last debate to bring it up so he could address it. Obama also denounced what his past Rev. said, not sure what more you'd really want.
garith21 3 years ago
Obama didn't address them, he denied them and he had more to deny than John
hugBitCH 3 years ago
"In terms of negative campaigning both parties were really bad about that."
Don't you think it wasn't the least bit imbalanced? There's plenty of adds where Obama just talks about what he wants to do, most of McCain's adds were just about attacking Obama.
"As for the whole respect thing i was trying to say that you have to respect them as a person as well"
And I'm saying that's bs, a position doesn't earn respect, a person earns the respect I don't care what position they have.
garith21 3 years ago
I don't think it's imbalanced there's also plenty of McCain ads as to what he wants to do and his policies are too so what's your point?
hugBitCH 3 years ago
Sorry? Only positive adds I see are ones where a gov. endorses him, most of the adds attack or mention Obama just so he can mention a falsehood about what Obama wants to do. There's many more adds on Obama's page which list by topic what Obama wants to do, various speeches, yes there's some negative ads, but when you've got ads associating people with fraud or terrorists, saying a guy is out of touch is rather mild.
garith21 3 years ago
"The media is mostly bias mainly supporting the Democrats."
Since when? Ever watch Faux news? I guess comedians are Democrat biased too right? Heck, Obama was reported as the "most liberal of liberals" whatever that means, he's more of a middle ground conservative which is why a lot of republicans voted for Obama as well, well that and Palin's complete inadequacy for the presidency despite McCain's reassurance that she was adequate.
garith21 3 years ago
It's Fox not Faux and yes i do watch that station and i listen to am radio. Those are the only 2 conservative news stations. Everything else such as MTV, C-SPAN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC,CNN, hollywood (for the most part), schools, colleges, the entertainment industry are all liberal. Alot of states like California and NY have been liberal for 30 years, and there's more. Democrats until 1994 had unlimited power in congress and senate for 60 years straight.
hugBitCH 3 years ago
Sorry? At the beginning of the bush administration Republicans essentially had all of the power till the most recent two years where Bush's approval rating is in the toilet. Did you know that people surveyed watching Fox news actually tend to know less about the world than before watching it? Might want to take that into consideration before considering the statement that Fox is a reliable network.
garith21 3 years ago
yeah they only had power for 12 years where as the Dems up until then had power for 60 years. 12 years is nothing compared to the 60 that Democrats had. and the rating thing on fox is a lie
hugBitCH 3 years ago
"yeah they only had power for 12 years where as the Dems up until then had power for 60 years."
Uh...and the last few years have probably been the most messed up years in recent history....that's not a very strong case.
"and the rating thing on fox is a lie"
Nice assertion, but like I said it's based on polling though which I don't give a lot of merit, but it's statistically significant.
garith21 3 years ago
To give you an idea at why I call it Faux News, various surveys were done regarding current events and knowledge of views, Fox news viewers ranked lower on knowledge on current events than viewers of The Daily Show, a comedy show. Fox News in recent years has done worse than nearly every news organization if not every news organization in regards to good information. Don't you find it disturbing that a comedy show ranks higher than Fox in that regard?

What about Obama and is connections w/ fannie mae, rashid khalidi, william ayers, and rev. wright. He denied/lied about all those connections/allegations. The LA times refused to release the Obama-Khalidi Bash Tape because it's a liberal news source being endorsed by the obama administration as are most news-media sources to cover himself. However, if that video had Sarah Palin or McCain in it, they'd have that released to the press in no time, bit of a double standard eh?
hugBitCH 3 years ago
lol how about talking about something that's relevant. If obama made half the mistakes as McCain this election it would have been over.
garith21 3 years ago
where did you hear about McCains preacher saying that? Id like to know more about that. Obama hasn't been in politics long enough to make mistakes but granted he will make some during his time in the oval office. Obama hasn't been in politics long enough to make mistakes and gain alot of experience. Experience comes from making mistakes as well as doing things right the first time
hugBitCH 3 years ago
"Obama hasn't been in politics long enough to make mistakes"
Uh, refer to Palin's disapproval ratings in such a short time and tell me that again. Your experience argument is actually pretty moot because stupid people can make bad decisions and never learn from them, educated people that show intelligence can make educated decisions and at the very least learn from them.
McCain's preacher has said worse...I'm sure if you just Google "McCain's preacher" you can see a lot.
garith21 3 years ago
Ok so i failed to mention that ppl never learn from their mistakes, my bad. People make mistakes whether they're educated or not, no one's perfect it's just being human. Yes, Sarah could've said things differently but fact is she screwed up and if she's gonna campaigne again in 2012 then she still has 4 years to smooth things over.
hugBitCH 3 years ago
ya, like learn that Africa's not a country, what the VP actually does, how to form a proper sentence (I'm not a grammar police kind of person, but come on), learn about the policies that concern the American public, etc, etc.
Yes, no one's perfect, no one claimed to be, but educated people will tend to make less mistakes or at least make more educated decisions, sorry but I want an elite person to be president as much as I want an elite person to do surgery.
garith21 3 years ago
My grammar's ok for the most part i chose to abbreviate the word people to ppl kinda like how people do that when they're texting. I know the things that concerns america some just have different concerns than others
hugBitCH 3 years ago
not particularly, personally what concerns me while someone is running is how they run their campaign, if they work well with the public, if their ideas and methods are progressive, how intelligent their plans are, whether economic experts agree with the methods, their support for freedoms in the public's eye, their vp picks....all of this guilt by association stuff is worthless when they have nothing to do with the policies that matter.
garith21 3 years ago
Well stated, the fact is obama is president and even though i didn't vote for him the only thing left to do is just wait to see what he will/not do and he is the president and those (other than me) who didn't vote for him will just have to respect that now
hugBitCH 3 years ago
well, you don't have to respect him just because of the position, technically he isn't even president till Jan 20th. I don't respect bush and he's still president though I still do respect the position of power. Honestly I might have voted for McCain till the negative campaigning, the Sarah Palin pick and honestly his policies aren't as good, I respected the old McCain from 2000, this new one just wasn't the same McCain.
garith21 3 years ago
Honestly though, if those sorts of guilt by association really matters so much to you how come you don't point out all of Palin's or McCain's guilt by associations? Then you accuse everyone else of a double standard.
Frankly it doesn't matter to me unless they're a primary adviser, I care more about the policies, who they pick for vp and why.
garith21 3 years ago
McCain, who is worried about losing the election while Obama, is worried about Americans losing their homes and their jobs. Its clear who is truly for the better interests of the American people. Its not McCain and thats a fact.
angieb0087 3 years ago 2
Obama's economic policy will cost people their jobs. What do you think tax hikes for the rich equate to? They will cut whatever costs they need to in order to make their businesses profitable - couple this with raising minimum wage and that translates to unskilled labor being replaced with mechanization or just downsizing. Also, keeping these people in homes they can't afford is just the sort of policy that got us into the subprime crisis in the first place. Policy from a Democratic congress...
jjoliver22 3 years ago
Wow! Thanks for the information about cutting taxes to the rich.
Can you take a time machine back and tell Clinton? Because Obama wants to merely reinstate what Clinton did.
Better hurry back, you can stop the deregulation that got us into this mess.
barbaradering 3 years ago
Hmmmm... yeah, he is going to keep taxes for the 250k tax bracket the same - he's said NOTHING about above that (which most mid-sized companies are above that in gross revenue) AND raising minimum wage.... Just sit back and enjoy the ride, it'll be a fun one :) Oh, and Clinton was very cooperative with a Conservative Congress - I don't see much reaching across the aisle this term...
jjoliver22 3 years ago
Well, if you paid attention to what he was saying, you would have heard his desire to work together across the aisle. But you are right, he has no need to, other than to be inclusive.
He has SAID that he will raise $250+ to pre Bush cuts. Look it up on his website.
Having owned my own business for 8.5 years that depends on minimum wage employees (restaurant) It would have killed me to have my taxes raised and an increase in the min. wage.
but I haven't see that on the table.
barbaradering 3 years ago
Entrepreneurs create jobs, not government intervention. History has shown this and it stands the test of time. McCain's economic policy is appropriate for the recessive times we're facing and Obama's counter-productive, big-government ideology will only cause harm to this country. Taking responsibility for our actions as consumers and living within our means is essential for the economy to rebound, and bailouts are not the answer. Did I cosign for Joe-blow's loan? Nope. Actions have consequences
jjoliver22 3 years ago
McCain was pro bailout. Did you listen to the debates? How did you miss that?
Mccains economic policy was the same as Bushs.
Did not work then, and in these times, it would have only served to further the divide between the middle class and rich.
THANK GOD OBAMA WON~ the world now stands a chance
barbaradering 3 years ago
Are you all serious?! Look at the other side of the facts instead of what liberal media stations tell you. Obama has spent 3x more $ on media ads for his campaigne than McCain has, well this false add sure does prove it.

giantpeniz 3 years ago
I know you obviosly have a predefine opinion, and nothing I can say will ever change it, so I wont eve try. I understand that when people are making a point, they often polorize the facts, but common its an exponentially higher number of people than 100. Cant you count, it was in the thousands. I dont claim that its a lot, but you need to know the context. What city is this rally in, and what is it's population. If you know that then it is possible to compute a proportional conclusion.

McCain and Palin are callous, self-serving individuals running an indecent, vile campaign.

If McCain loses, Palin's political career is over. As for Monegan, I hope he gets his job back.

DA!!!the 9/11/01 attack was on Bush's watch!
flashback950 3 years ago
9/11 came in the wake of the Clinton administration. There's plenty of blame to go around. You can say bad things about Bush: he's inarticulate; he made mistakes; his information was wrong. One thing you can't say about Bush is that he did nothing. He did plenty. He attacked. President Obama would have sent emergency invitations to Osama Bin Laden, Al Qaeda any other "victims of the great satan" to discuss their feelings at the United Nations.
ahooga 3 years ago
You don't know what President Obama would have done and obviously you don't speak for him. But I hope he would have stayed focused on getting Bin Laden who was NOT in Iraq!
flashback950 3 years ago
When he wasn't perched comfortably on the fence he was preferring soft power to hard power. Obama's long record speaks volumes about what he would have done in response to the 9/11 attacks. Because of Bush, Osama Bin Ladin remains in hiding, and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed(beheaded Daniel Pearl and was the master mind behind 9/11) several high level Al Qaida officers, and dozens of mid-level Al Qaida operatives have been captured.
ahooga 3 years ago
Obama, staying focused on Afganistan and getting Bin Laden instead of changing wars.
Surely, you can see what a mistake Bush made preferring hard power in a country that had not attacked us.
Maybe not.

How much foreign policy experience did former US presidents and vice presidents have? Lincoln? Truman? Kennedy? LBJ? Without toughness, shrewdness, and cynical realpolitik to go along with it, experience is worthless. A lot of good Neville Chamberlain's decades of foreign policy experience did him as Hitler pissed all over his shoes.
ahooga 3 years ago
Judging by some of the responses here, I guess if Sarah Palin herself said "Hey, you really cant trust me and I'm as fake as they come" some of you would still say "Thats a conspiracy to invent scandal and make Palin look bad".
RexLaboro 3 years ago
Don't be naive. The original purpose of the investigation probably was to find the truth. Since Palin's naming as McCain's running mate however the investigation has taken on a new and sinister purpose: to monkey wrench the machinery of the McCain campaign. Palin must fight this attack. She must not cooperate with the "investigation," neither should anyone else, including Todd.
ahooga 3 years ago
Umm... umm... you do understand that the motives of the investigation have nothing to do with the fact that they're investigating abuse of power as a public official right?
Look... either she has nothing to hide and so she should let them investigate, or she has something to hide, and we need to find out, because if McCain dies, (likely) she'll be the most powerful person in the world... She's abusing power in a state with less population than my city and you trust her with the fucking world?
makaisenki 3 years ago
No, makaisenki, it isn't as simple as she's either hiding something, or not. The investigation is now tainted by partisanship. The day after McCain picked her the Democrats began sending teams of lawyers to Alaska dig up whatever they can her on. So far, "Troopergate" is their best bet to hang her. Too many powerful people now have a stake in destroying her with this investigation. It is idiotic to think this "investigation" can ever be fair. Yes, I've seen and heard her. She's brilliant.
ahooga 3 years ago
She's brilliant? So then killing wolves... which feed on Caribou, which eat grass... is brilliant? I'm sorry but that's dangerous. If they kill too many wolves they might end up killing too many and then the Caribou will start to starve. That's not brilliant.
She doesn't understand foreign policy so she tries to pretend that war is the same as energy. She's intellectually small minded at best. The ABC interview shows that she doesn't have substance and she lies and contradicts herself A LOT!
makaisenki 3 years ago
The only fixed doctrines are the Monroe- and the Truman Doctrines. The Bush doctrine, coined by Charles Krauthammer, has 4 versions in 8 years. The 1st was withdrawal from ABM treaty and rejecting Kyoto. 2nd was, "with us or against us." The 3rd, (Gibson's version) was preemptive war. The 4th, the current version, means spreading democracy through the world. Yes, Palin didn't know, but neither did Gibson or Obama.
ahooga 3 years ago
I didn't even fucking mention the Bush Doctrine. So the fact that you're pulling that little number out your ass... says something doesn't it?
I could have been talking about her lack of foreign policy experience and trying to make energy experience make up for that, I could have been talking about other details.
Even if she didn't know what the Bush Doctrine was, I didn't either. I was 13 around Bush being elected. I can't know everything. She could have asked, instead she lied with arrogance
makaisenki 3 years ago
makaisenki: Pull your head out of your ass. You brought up foreign policy. The Bush doctrine describes Bush's foreign policy. Palin's description of the Bush doctrine has been forefront in the news.
ahooga 3 years ago
"Pres. Hockey Mom"
makaisenki 3 years ago
If your opinions were based in history rather than on Matt Damon's remarks ("Disney movie. 'Pres. Hockey Mom," you might have something intelligent to say. Learn some history, history of presidents and vice presidents, specifically, and you will see that meeting dignitaries is not a necessary qualification for president, or vice president.
ahooga 3 years ago
Dude I didn't bring up meeting with other freakin dignitaries. She said HERSELF that she hasn't been keeping up with the war.
She she's stated that she never paid much attention to it.
Quit putting words in my mouth. So I like that Disney joke. Who cares. You keep fucking putting words in my mouth by defending her on something I didn't even state.
When asked about her foreign policy experience she talks about her energy experience. I didn't say anything about dignitaries OR Bush Doctrine.
makaisenki 3 years ago
This discussion is about Palin. You brought up foreign policy and the Matt Damon quotes. I was happy to oblige you. Do you deny that questions about Palin meeting foreign dignitaries and her knowledge of the Bush doctrine, or perceived lack thereof, relate to foreign policy and are major issues in this debate?
ahooga 3 years ago
I'm not being naive. I'm simply expressing an observation. You've strengthened my view by saying things like "the investigation has taken on a new and sinister purpose". Damn, sinister? We know the insulting reason why McCain chose her, we know that she talks in circles and lacks knowledge needed for the job and has a shady background and says some crazy things. Her existence is her worst enemy. No one has to slander her to paint a bad picture. Havent you SEEN and HEARD her?
RexLaboro 3 years ago
RexLaboro: Yes, I've seen and heard her. She's brilliant. See my response to "makaisenki". You want Obama? He wants to disarm his own country. (Search "Obama wants to protect" on this site and listen to him yourself.) He wants to talk, to reason, with tyrants. The pacifist's fundamental mistake is that he and the tyrant have something in common on which to base peace and civility. When Obama's lofty dialogue fails and the tyrant attacks, what will we do without arms?
ahooga 3 years ago
If you thinks "She's brilliant", there's really nothing else to discuss here. It would be asinine.
RexLaboro 3 years ago
We'll have allies and we'll unleash hell. We went to Iraq on a lie we went to Iraq with very little support. It's a lot easier to gain support from allies if you're being attacked after attempting a diplomatic solution than to get allies by attacking first and finding nothing later.
makaisenki 3 years ago
We did not go to Iraq on a lie. We went to Iraq because the UN is all talk and no action. Speaking of the UN, Koffi Annan has met many dignitaries, more than Palin and more than Barack Obama. Since you seem to think meeting dignitaries is sufficient qualification for handling foreign policy, why don't we elect Koffi Annan president? This should make you happy as he will disarm America, too.
