King Review: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

The producer of the film(s) was shocked when the MPAA gave the film a PG rating. To make a PG film was not their intent, it's just today's loss of innocence I suppose. But the burrow attack scene was totally unnecessary!

Yeah Yates has been hired to finish off series for a long time now, long before the Half-Blood Prince film was released. Deathly Hallows was being filmed since February '09 and is now nearly complete, and the release date shouldn't be pushed back. Draco was quite a bit younger than 22 lol. To begin the film with two ministers talking to each other would not have been as epic or exciting for moviegoers as the Death Eater chaotic bridge scene.

hey i just rewatched this video becasue i saw the movie now and i agree. I think the movie was kind of boring and not very much happepened. When the movie got towards the end i was like, this is long but when it ended i was like, that was it?!?!? becasue i felt like all that happened was people falling for eachother

Alright first, you want to many details bro... If you include all the details it would be too long... You cannot include everything. Book is more detailed and movies never are.

You want all the extra stuff = a lot more money... they have budgets.

There wont be 2 more movies, there will be definitely one more and thats it...

Also in this one they just showed more love & all about the characters.. I was getting bored so if they added more love like you said it would of been too long & boring.

Its not the directors fault, its the sccript. The script says the burough burns and hee had had to make the best of what was given to him. Same with the rest of the changes they made from the actual book

BTW, you bashed the director cuz of scenes that were left in/out. Isnt that the screenplays fault? The whole dumbledore is breathing is a direction error IMO. When i heard about scenes like the funeral getting put out i was apauled. But David Yates is apperently the best director according to the cast; i didnt care for OoT and havent seen HBP, so IDK.

I'm rereading the whole book today; hopefully it will be good when i see it tommorrow.

well i saw the movie and you cant say its bad if you claim that they got so many things "perfect"

you cant fit everything thats in the book into the movie, it would be too long.

dumbledore's funeral wasnt that significant, its just his funeral, what matters is he died.

you just want them to include everything, which is not possible

great review, i haven't seen the movie yet but i agree about the directors, they really should have found one from the start who would stay all the way through, you would think they would want to stay for the money to. The directors get increasingly worse though because they always have to twist something and even change around whole sets, its really annoying
