Its a great demonstration of how fall in place rather than tring to find the keynote. Just jam tile you get it. This guy tunning up is just showing off rollercoaster skills part of Fender production easy get along with instrument
they are not as good as american models, but i have played mexican models that were pretty close.you can go play 10 american models and no two will be the same.that stands true for mexican models also.play some and when you find one that feels right sounds right buy it whetther is mia or mim
I believe thats a 4 string 70's re-issue jazz made in mexico and the dude is switching between playing with a pick and finger style...70's re-issue is an excellent multi tone instrument, try several before settleing on one because they are all unique...omg..these guys are great!!!
i think it's the new line '70s classic that they produced for 2009 ...is a nice bass slightly different neck than the standard jazz bass and the bridge neck is 2-3 cm closer to bridge so it sound a bit brighter on high and mid tones ....have tested it ...good one!
@fleaargento He is Bobby Vega, and well, he's using a Jazz Bass im not sure if it's a MIM (i guess) or MIA, but the diference is he use a EMG pickups, that could be the little diference!
"Led by Motown legend Bob Babbitt, including Bobby Vega, Christopher Maloney and Ivan Barrera on bass, with Jeff Kollman on guitar and Nick DVirgilio on drums."
this is the worst thing i have ever seen

It's actually a 6-String bass if you look closley, the fretboard is slightly enlarged.
