I just ran into a former spokesmodel on Sunday (she was only a challenger) and she freaked out when I asked her if she was on Star Search 21 years ago! HAHAHA! It's too bad you missed the first part of '86.. Aimee was really something and she just got better with each win. Can someone please upload her session to "One Night In Bangkok"?! The best!

Since I was at the semi-finals, I can tell you that Aimee DID use the beginning of THIS video and used the complimentary swimsuit portion of "Freeway of Love". For some reason when it aired, it only showed as being the entire "Freeway of Love" video which seemed unfair. That being said, I agree with you bcmoon that Aimee lacked the contrast she needed to win. She looks stunning in the black dress at the end. She was my favorite that year

On a Personal Note, I have enjoyed your recollection in being backstage and apart of Star Search in the Micaela vs Baan, Devin Devasquez, and Sophia Bowen vs Cynthia Gouw dscussion. Being honest with you I missed the first half of Star Search 86 with Aimee and in the other clip that was posted I was not impressed; however,when I saw this one and how she looked at the end in that black dress, changed my mind

@70conrad being that I saw the latter half of 1986, I was a fan of Karen Marie Thomas and thought when she made the final vs Devasquez that she was going to win cause I thought Pamela was tougher to call, boy was I wrong, lol.....In this clip Aimee had a glow or aire about her that to me was missing in the SF. Would you say overall that 1986 was the best year for Spokesmodels or does another year come in mind?

Aimee looked GREAT in both dresses and I loved her look & hair in the black dress.....this is the spar and look she needed in the SF going against Karen Marie Thomas. I always felt in the SF against Karen, Aimee he came out flat

Aimee looks great in that blue dress! Is it just me or is that pink cadillac in the background the same one in the "Freeway of Of Love" video used in the episode with Garcelle vs. Aimee?

@willmoney34 Yes It was the same video.  I won more than anyone (including me) expected- so I didnt have enough videos, so they used edits from previious videos.

So would they kind of estimate how many wins someone would get, and base the number of videos on that? Also, you said that you "won more than anyone expected" but what I recall and have read on the comments I think many fans of the show (myself included) would consider you one of the best and most memorable contestants on the show! I thought Aimee looked great! I loved the video. I am surprised she didn't use this video in the semi-finals.
