Bolivia is a country which has a lot of history to read upon; it has many beautiful places and in the last years has created a lot of controversy due to political issues. These women are hard working women who have children to support on their own, they do not have the opportunity to live on benefits from the government like in other countries do.
@NetamenteBoliviano Yes it's true that Bolivia has a lot of very interesting history and the people there work hard to make a living and survive. I have visited Bolivia and I found that the people, although poor, are very nice, dignified and they work hard. Also it is a very beautiful country, I would love to visit again someday to see more. The only problem I experienced in La Paz was that I felt a bit sick from the altitude. I drank lots of mate de coca but it didn't really help me.
It really shows a lot of ignorance that instead of learning more about a culture, people waste their time slugging off each other’s spelling mistakes; making superficial comments which clearly show no knowledge, reality nor depth, or make comments which are so incoherent to the extreme of boredom.
This is a video portrays only a minimal part of the lives and struggles of the indigenous Bolivian Women in El Alto, La Paz. These women are forced to see this sport as an option in order to be able to support their families.
I find it interesting...their culture and their forms of entertainment...I read somewhere that it is the only highlight in the locals lives because there is nothing else to do.
chill all of u ok?? If u don't know Bolivia..your lost . And don't judge all Bolivian people (cause i'm Bolivian as well..so what!!) and i don't dress those hats. As other people said..it's just a custom in some parts of La paz, come to visit Bolivia and u'll see.
Chill geez. My parents vistited Bolivia and they were ready to leave as soon as they arrived. People dress the way they do, cause of customs. The women are fat there, just like here. Man, I don't like their clothes, but they obviously do!
When I found out Bolivia was going to be the setting for the latest James Bond Movie...I was like "fuck this is going to be the most stupid shit". "Oh no, the water in Bolivia is going to be expensive". I hope they stop wearing carpet that looks like its molding and those stupid hats and dress normally.
Crazy Bolivians. I still can't stand the way their women are dressed. At least women in other countries actually try to dress like women. Those derby hats and carpet they wear are just hideous. This wrestling is weird too. I can't stand this country. I hope it burns down.
Fuck you asshole. Go fuck yourself and Bolivia in the ass. Everyone looks like they haven't showered in years. Those hats are so fucking ugly. So are the people of that country. At least other 3rd world countries make an effort to be educated.
By the way, there is something called spell check. They are usually found on every computer. If you're still confused, you can always look up a dictionary.

@SwedishBlonde79 in developing countries, being fat is seen as a sign of wealth and prosperity. ♪♫ The More You Know ♫♪

Why don't everyone chill. I don't like their clothes, but I'm American, not Bolivian. It's their custom.
