I love the amount of effort Hae puts in to try to speak Mandarin when he's in China. Even though his vocab range isn't as wide as Siwon's and his pronounciation isn't as accurate Kyu's, I'm most proud of him because he's improved so much and he's so willing to learn and attempt to speak it.

In EHB I was already impressed when Kyu said he was in a Math Olympiad before, but I wasn't aware that he was a recipient of the President's Award for doing well in the said academic contest. The list of admirable traits of this guy just keeps getting longer.

I think that if SM had not discovered him, he would still end up as a singer because a natural talent like him rarely goes unnoticed.
