  • Thanks much for this great upload!

  • To be clear, though, I love this song. :)

  • Did we used to wear our hair like this? LOL!!

  • Good job. I have no qualms about the audio or video.

  • it's like a great 45 rpm recored. just sit back and enjoy it.

  • this song brings back some beautiful memories from my childhood and along the way too. thank you for sharing :)

  • Well, if it was the song I expected with "Best Quality" then I wouldn't have responded at all.I would have kicked back in my easy chair and enjoyed it.Eh, never mind, I'm just an old fucker. I'm 50 years old. What day is it? Wh- Where am I?

  • @jimbamboozled "Best quality" means that it's the original upload and that someone copied this and uploaded it with inferior quality. But I can't tell for sure that it's still "Best quality", because I can't spend all that time checking clips.

  • Just as good as when I listened to it in the 60's. Great music lasts forever.

  • can we rewind and go back to 1960's...

  • Who is the guy on the Sax?

  • Man could Dennis Yost sing! Love him (God rest is soul) and this song.

  • nuestro amor es tan grande q nadie podra desvaratar

  • Traces & Stormy were my favorite songs back in the 70's, and still are!

  • R.I.P. Dennis Yost..........What a great voice.

  • his looks reminds me of donnie osmond

  • A great sound altogether

  • It's all cool! I got a response.I still like the song very much!

  • This song stinks.

  • @algavin47 no hon...your comment stinks.

  • Love the sax

  • I wouldn't say "Best Quality." Plus you put an annoying Advertisement on the beginning. Boo! Hiss!

  • @jimbamboozled You misunderstood me. I mean that I had the original upload, which had better quality than the version that copied mine. And it's not me that put on a ad. I really despise people that take everything for granted and then jump to the wrong conclusion.

  • @SixtiesPopGold Jim needs Adblocker. I bet it's his first computer.

  • @SixtiesPopGold You deserve a THANK YOU !!!

  • @jimbamboozled

Be happy people take time to upload videos. Have you done anyway??

  • @jimbamboozled that's cute; BOO! HISS! But I FEEL THE SAME.

  • i remember back in 1988 three dog night was in town here in chesapeake va at a function and dennis yost was playing here also.got to talk with dennis for a few minutes what a really nice man.rest in peace.

  • Why can't they make decent music like this anymore? I think the decent music stopped about the time my niece became a teenager in the 1990s. I was a teenager and in my 20s in the 1980s and I can remember the music from the 1960s like Stormy. I love the older classics like this, I also love the music from the 1980s and classical music too.

  • I love this old song so much. Thanks for putting this video here.Nice to hear it again after all these years.

  • Very Nice!

    I remember this song well!

Love the Sax in this song!

    Very Nice!

  • does anyone know if that was jr walker on sax??

  • Nice!!

  • Well, this has a better picture quality but the other one has a better sound quality...

  • One of my all time favorites, (along with Spooky), it really brings back some great memories.

  • Thanks for sharing. It brings back great memories!

  • Sax is just super!

  • they were produced by sly stone of the family stone

  • RIP Dennis Yost

  • I think my brother on the sax was holding back from blasting out some Coltrane or Shepp!

  • Bring back that sunny decade ...... RIP Dennis.

  • Translating guys: ppplaneta says (in Spanish) a classic song to get you dancing real close to a girl -or girlfriend. She would put her hands round your waist and you would move em up around your neck instead -so your even closer! Just right for smooching, and many couples –he says, must have had their first kisses to this one and some guys may have married thanks to ‘Stormy’! (Hell you wouldn't want to do that these days! You need to have your wits about you!)

I thinks its just cool music!

  • blue eyed soul at its best

  • Dennis Yost, one of the best blue eyed soul singer of the sixties. and seventies.

  • Boy does this take me back. The sax is splendid, the balance in this song is remarkable. A generation weaned on some of pop history's best.

  • @vanislefan ditto

  • So sweet. : )

  • This band kinda ended up morphing into the Atlanta Rhythm Section. Just thought I'd toss that out there...
