  • is this thing out yet?

  • @AustinAlexanderAW I just posted the release announcement on the WSGF a couple of hours ago. YouTube won't let me put a URL in here but just hit the home page at widescreengamingforum(dot)com

  • Simply awesome.

  • Please get that alternative stand. ;) Would look so so epic for a gaming rig. I have plans to make this look so nice. :)

  • @Zencyde Turns out we couldn't use the alternate stand. It wasn't heavy enough to support the 5x1. It tipped over. Not a good idea.

  • @WSGF Ah, pity. I'll still gladly use the other one. ;) Just looks a bit more industrial than consumer.

  • Could you try to add in more cable management areas in the back for cables? Just like you, Its a JUNGLE in the back of my monitors.

  • Good lord man. That is a god amongst computer stands. I was very unimpressed with the stock ergotech 100 I purchased from them as parts that were seemingly supposed to be together managed to get undone and I'm always weery about 1 monitor falling down. I currently have something similar to your 5X portrait mode setup though I only use 3X27 inch monitors in protrait mode. I wish this product had been available back in july or that I could bring back my Ergotech stand.

  • @WSGF Man i would love to have this for my 3 28" hannsg

  • @gilbee14 Sorry, but I think the 28" may be a bit wide. Check out the release announcement on the WSGF. It's got all the specks for panel sizes.

  • I've tried portrait mode for gaming. It's definitely more like a gimmick that doesn't really serve a real purpose.

It just seems to be a crutch for not using large monitors. Like you, I use my setup for productivity and gaming. The Productivity side of the setup makes living with the multiple monitors a much easier thing.

Hell, trying my setup, my fiance said she loves having multiple monitors for school. It gets her approval, which is important!

  • I was thinking about doing a multi-monitor setup but most stands cost a fortune if you are wanting to do three or more monitors. I would like to know when this will be available so I can then make my decision.

    Thanks.

  • @tripdeezy We've just made the release announcement. Final pricing is $399.
