I knew it. I was in Laguna beach recently talking to the locals about spearfishing and asked if their were many great whites in the area. All of them said "Naw man, all the whites are in San Diego and more south." I didn't believe them and that is why i wouldn't go spearfishing in the OC by myself.

This a marvelous video. It's well done and very educational. I saw a shark at the Ritz Cove once at sunset when there were only a few dozen surfers. They saw it! It was a few years ago, two days after the Solano Beach incident where the dentist surfer was killed by a great white shark. The same type of behavior with the shark hanging around the surfers.
