  • The last trick, what the fuck?

  • MASTER

  • how can he do that? =]

  • one of my favorite routines! can you let us know what you think of ours?

  • shit! =O

  • Cual es la musica que utiliza

  • @carlosuriarte1 Begin the beguine

  • Virtually perfect prestidigitation! Thanks for sharing this. I especially loved 1:15

  • My bad! That should read 1:05

  • Amazing!~

  • Amazing!!!

  • RIP you will always be a legend

  • Il meglio di tutti i tempi

  • this guy keeps pulling birds out his ass. haha

  • Actually, the only butt that anything appeared to be pulled out of was the doves, re: the cards @ 1:56.

  • One of the greatest magicien i have ever seen!

    He works very clean!

    Also he has charism!

  • His butt has been turned into a dovecote

  • I don;t what you were looking at. But, the card trick @ 1:56 was the only example of "butt-pulling" I saw.

  • Truly the most beautiful man in the world.

  • It's Great !!

  • Superb magic.

  • a master...perfect skills..As he made doves appear, he seemed to be shaping them from air with his hands. Magicians everywhere copied his moves...

  • They still do.

  • D:< How the fuck is he doing that? There's like a dozen freakin doves there.

  • his slight of hand is soo clean and perfect, amazing

  • 1:14 awsome

  • Un mito per me!!!

  • stile, personalità e tecnica. nulla di meglio. il numero perfetto e insuperato. una lezione strepitosa.

  • The music is "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" which pretty well sums up the act. Channing was a great artist and NICE man.

  • "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" ? What the hell are you talking about?

The music was perfect for the time and demonstration.

Is there anything else about the act YOU didn't like sir?

Would you like to offer a better music menu?

Nothing but bitchin' and complainin' with no solotions......

    Typicall commenter.

  • Apparently you did not read my comment as intended. I knew Channing. Every audience was "bewitched, bothered and bewildered" watching his act. There was and is no one better than Channing. And yes, that's the title of the song.

  • thats my name!! channing!:)

  • I wonder if all those birds and cards were up his sleeves.

  • er, fake birds that all flap the same exact way

  • hahaahaha so ignorant that is actually funny

  • why the thumbs down? lol

  • Michael Ammar can backpalm his own hand.

  • He is the god of card manipulation!!!!!

  • Channing Pollock was a God. Often imitated NEVER duplicated. It is a pleasure to watch him perform. Thanks to YouTube, everyone can admire the magic of this legendary performer.

  • he coppied cardini with the silk and cards but he was still awsome

  • And how many have copied Channing Pollock with Doves?

  • many but i dont think i have ever seen somebody this good

lance burton is good too with doves

but im not sure he does it anymore

  • Lance Burton straight up tells people that he wants to be Channing Pollock. Watch BBC's history of close up magic.

  • well yeah the dove work of pollock changed magic

many of the things he did with doves are still in use today

  • Channing Pollock sets the standard for the rest. In fact one can argue that very few if any has yet to reach that standard.

  • That is my great unle

  • he is my great unle from my dad side of the family I just looking stuff about him. I only one pic ofg him from feb 1951.

  • Perhaps it was a tad inappropriate, but considerng the nature of the performance, stupefying an audience by producing doves as if by magic....then my comment seems fairly nondesript.

  • He he is mystifying the audience the point is not prove that you have magicial powers, its to make the audience believe that maybe just maybe it could possibly be by magic the audience knows its not magic but the skill and practice that goes into what he does or did is unbelieveable and if it is so stupid i would like you to explain to me how he does it. Because the whole point of magic is to make the audience believe for one second that maybe just maybe there is something magical happening.

  • omygod he is great

  • What a vile and inappropriate thing to say. If the elegance of what this video portrays is just a tad too sublime for your tastes, then just keep your limey mouth shut and seek a forum for your opinions elsewhere.

  • You are a freaking moron, it takes a special kind of stupid to write something like that.

  • It doesnt get any better than this.....smoooooooth

  • The fact that he does the whole act so slowly is just mind-boggling! He's so freaking smooth, it almost makes you sick! Such class!!!! A true master and pioneer!

  • This should be compulsory viewing for every 15 year old boy that posts an explanation on a card slight! The art of magic is an ART! Not a few poorly done colour changes. WATCH AND LEARN!!

  • You are right. I did not mean to offend. Its just nice to see a true great rather than somebody who can't even perform an effect, old or young, exposing it. I too have seen some very young guys performing some amazing magic.

  • I understand. I've seen MANY adults posting tutorials!

I don't know why so many magicians just don't care about their secert getting out. You'll never see Max Maven, or Mac King, or Teller releasing ANY of their own act.

  • Teller may not, but unfortunately, he still goes along with it when Penn does... It's a shame, really. Pollock is the the master though. A true pioneer!

  • tengo que decir....

    waw

  • this is real stuff

  • What can be better than this? Pollock and Cardini were the masters...

  • Channing is the real deal!

  • LOL your WAY OFF BUDDY!

  • elegant graceful magic at its best.

  • What a great act! Channing set the standard for this kind of magic, and had a charm and elegance that seems to be missed on today's performers. A true legend of magic.

  • Channing also INVENTED EVERYTHING IN THIS ACT. Burton, an everyone else is basicaly COPYING CHANNING!

  • amazing, thanks!

  • It almost seems senseless to comment on such a classy and inspiring act. Whenever he performed, he helped elevate the art form with respect and dignity. Now, with all the street magic out there, and MTV style cuts and edits, I sometimes wonder if magic will ever return to this magnitude of simplistic quality again. To me, Lance Burton is pretty much the only one who really pulled this off in recent years. Absolutely wonderful. Thanks for posting this.

  • Thank You for this Derren

(p.s. Marry me I love you)

    xxx

  • I cannot believe that the most perfect manipulation act of all time is not rated as a straight 5 stars.

  • Brilliant!

  • Good dove production!!

  • big finish

  • Poor old Channing is now gone but his magic still leaves me in awe. What a magician. I can't begin to think how much practice and talent it takes to reach his level. It's a shanme they have to leave us.

  • Awesome. Simply awesome. The original, and the best, period.

  • This is class ... a+

  • Perfect act.

  • Simply the greatest along with Cardini and Fred Kaps

  • truly wonderful. a nice place to come once in a while !

  • Bravo. One of the finest magicians of all time. All dove magicians and magicians in general owe a bit of gratitude to the late great Channing Pollock.

  • Wow... just wow!

Where'd you find this and do you have more?

  • This guy makes me proud to be a magician.

  • love vintage

  • Wonderful magic, looks like real magic...
