  • Omgosh. This is right on time. I'm five months out and 60 pounds down, the problem is, I have been STUCK at 60 pounds for the last five weeks. I am going to go back to protein shakes and soup. Thank you so much for this post!

  • ive gained 12 pounds back over the last year and iam freeking out what ive statrted to do though is put myself back mentally where i was 2yrs ago. how i was eating what was i drinking....stop the starbucsstop the bagel w/butter in morning stop evrything and act like i have some fing common sense...iam sorry iam just kind of mad at myself

  • When I hit a stall I do the following: increase protein and water, switch up my workout routine, and eat a piece of chocolate. LoL! Pretty unconventional with the chocolate but it works for me.

  • That song takes me right back to my 1st year in university. Love it.

My stall broke by increasing my exercise and more water and protein.

  • How can they announce the winners?....the contest submissions dont end until December 31, 2011...

  • One important thing is that I dont think we should even consider something a stall unless its been a constant weight for 3 or 4 weeks. Sometimes its just a matter of keeping on doing what you were doing and after a little time the number will start going down again. 2nd - up your calories for a couple days then go back down to where you were losing and it can help jump start you again.

  • If your weight loss has stalled, your body has adapted to your current diet and exercise regimens. Change up every possible detail! Start a TOTALLY different exercise regimen (not just working harder at the same thing). 20 min sessions of high intensity interval training once in the AM and once in the PM will keep your metabolism at an elevated level. Look carefully at what your protein intake has been. Regular feedings of clean protein will keep your metabolism chugging away. Dagny - NASM CPT
