Don't be brainwashed by western main stream media, Belarus sits in a key position and the global elites wont a puppet running it. He chucked out the imf, and it angered them they hate him because he sticks up for his own people and will not sell of state assets and let them be privatised and let globalist by them and decide what derection the country goes in. it's not cool to protest and disrupt independence day. i don't think the protestors won any friends that day. independence day is a pretty big deal in belarus because of the massive death toll from WW2.

These opponents receive help of several ONG of USA. They are provoking a " revolution of colors" as they did it in Ukraine and Georgia.
