I used to have this game and I loved it. It's one of my favorite games that i've ever played. Can someone tell me if people still play this online? I wanna buy it again for my PS3 because it's just an amazing game.

I really loved this game but I seriously missed the fun I used to have in the first Red Faction. Burrowing tunnels for literally hours on end (found a few easter eggs and hidden rooms just from tunneling). No GEOMod in this game. Only the buildings can be destroyed, not the land itself.

@imster12 In this game's case, probably no difference at all. I couldn't swear to this, but a majority of cross platform games look either identical or better on the 360. The only two exceptions so far that I'm aware of are Final Fantasy 13 and Dante's Inferno.

When you start a new game you start from scratch. With nothing. But the multiplayer is AMAZING, that is if you can find a game to join... if you want a game that is pretty fun and is pretty physics based but has a LONGGGGGG story then I suggest Farcry 2
i already have farcry 2 and the story is repetitive, and it got boring by 75% completion. but back on the topic i want to say thanks for the help, i'm getting red faction guerrilla now.
Farcry 2 has two fatal errors in it in my opinion. First checkpoints restock full of baddies a minute after you clear them out, making traveling around a real hassel. And second and possibly the most retarded, you can only do one mission at a time. This is SO ANNOYING!! Especially when two missions are in the same area. So you have to drive for 20 minutes finish one mission. then drive for anouther 20 get the next mission and drive anOUTHER 20 to go back to the same fucking place!!!!!
Red faction is in every way superior to farcry 2. The only problem with red faction is enemies will literally appear out of nowhere sometimes. One time i was ducking behind a rock and popping out to fire on the enemies. I popped out, there were 3, a second later i popped out there were 7?!!!! WTF!? This is quite annoying and really takes away from the strategy. Best thing to do is stay in the vehical. On foot you are dead. But flaw aside, red faction is hella fun.
@theorangebox999 Oh, and Far Cry 2 isn't repetitive? True, I mean, there are weapon shop missions, where you shoot convoys, assassination missions where you shoot people and of course the story missions where you go, and, well, shoot people. I haven't played RF2 yet, but using FC2 as an example of not being boring and repetitive is way off.

Cool game...butthere are few things that anoy me:
For example...things you destroy stay destroyed....sond cool but if you destroyed a cool building...you can´t destroy it again...
Another thing is that the cool things are very seldom; walker, tanks these cool bombs
Also sneeking into buildings is cool except that sneeking doesn´t work
I hope they´ll improve those things in the sequel

i remember the first red faction was hard as hell to beat and took me for everrrr. this one is freaking sweet too, i like the destruction of buildings and what not.

this game is awesome only complaints i had were that you dont really develop any real care for the other characters. and yes ign's review was fucking horrible. they say this game has horrible graphics yet with GTA4 they go well since this is an open world game the graphics obviously wont be as good as a MW yet for this game the exact same thing doesn't apply. biased peices of shit.

This game can be summed up in three words: Fun as hell. I only played the story once, but multi-player is equally cool.

@imster12 In this game's case, probably no difference at all. I couldn't swear to this, but a majority of cross platform games look either identical or better on the 360. The only two exceptions so far that I'm aware of are Final Fantasy 13 and Dante's Inferno.

ya umm i have this for PC and mosto f the time hwen i load (it stopped or doesn't do as much i starrted new game and yes iv beaten it) but when it loads 30% of the time it crashes and somtimes if i dont play it for a while when i start the game it will crash once or twice and its just so annoying and it takes FOREVER to load so PLEASE HELP!

When you start a new game you start from scratch. With nothing. But the multiplayer is AMAZING, that is if you can find a game to join... if you want a game that is pretty fun and is pretty physics based but has a LONGGGGGG story then I suggest Farcry 2

i already have farcry 2 and the story is repetitive, and it got boring by 75% completion. but back on the topic i want to say thanks for the help, i'm getting red faction guerrilla now.

Farcry 2 has two fatal errors in it in my opinion. First checkpoints restock full of baddies a minute after you clear them out, making traveling around a real hassel. And second and possibly the most retarded, you can only do one mission at a time. This is SO ANNOYING!! Especially when two missions are in the same area. So you have to drive for 20 minutes finish one mission. then drive for anouther 20 get the next mission and drive anOUTHER 20 to go back to the same fucking place!!!!!

Red faction is in every way superior to farcry 2. The only problem with red faction is enemies will literally appear out of nowhere sometimes. One time i was ducking behind a rock and popping out to fire on the enemies. I popped out, there were 3, a second later i popped out there were 7?!!!! WTF!? This is quite annoying and really takes away from the strategy. Best thing to do is stay in the vehical. On foot you are dead. But flaw aside, red faction is hella fun.

@theorangebox999 Oh, and Far Cry 2 isn't repetitive? True, I mean, there are weapon shop missions, where you shoot convoys, assassination missions where you shoot people and of course the story missions where you go, and, well, shoot people. I haven't played RF2 yet, but using FC2 as an example of not being boring and repetitive is way off.
