@Twinkikklebunny if you actually read what the mayan calender has been translated as, it is a cosmic calender telling of when the sun is in line with the centre of our galexy from the mayan city's point of view... the mayan calender just says when that next "event" will happen because its starts with that event and there are 2 more in the calender, then the next date is 2012. thats what the calender is translated as saying

@djla1 You have no idea what you're talking about, of course this isn't actual sound coming from the planets. A microphone can't pick up sound without air, nor can the human ear (as you said). This is the sound of different wavelengths of light (e.g. radio waves, microwaves etc) and magnetic waves, converted by nasa into sound that we can interpret with our ears.

@24kojiful No worries its ok, well im sure it wouldn't be by any means safe at first, there would prolly be many different impurities, such as well known compounds you would find on earth, and impurities unknown to man such as a rare space metal/gas with toxic side affects. Also there would be vast amounts of radiation within the water, but im guessing if man had the intellect to Terraform a gas giant i think we could extract a little radiation from some space water. Plus that was just an idea.

Not many videos/films scare or creep me out but these manage it, regardless of my ever keen interest in the planets. Just the thought of being dragged into Jupiter by its immense gravity and getting torn to tiny pieces by the god like winds and lightning, all the while hearing that sound... Of course the only thing I'd likely here is my screems of agony. Obviously I'm letting my imagination have an orgasm here, thats extremely unlikely to happen...I hope!
