  • I'm scheduled to do another painting onstage with the Chamber Orchestra on January 20, at the University Auditorium, Gainesville FL

  • It turned out great, especially under the time pressure you were under. I know this is no small feat. Sometimes faster is better, and I think this is an example. Bravo!

  • I've always lacked confidence when it comes to painting but you make it seem so effortless. I enjoyed this very much. Thank you!

You're very welcome! Thanks for the positive comment.

  • This turned out beautiful!

Wonderful work =) Was this sold to anyone?

  • Very cool. The painting turned out beautifully, and it was really fun to watch the process.

  • Is that oil or acrylic??? I'm learning to paint and would be very interested to know!

  • It's oil paint, used with Chroma Archival Classic Medium. I'm painting on stretched canvas that's been toned with a warm grey gesso. I find, as a rule, that oil is much easier to push around in a spontaneous way. Acrylic dries too fast for me. I like to blend and mix as I go.

  • wow that's so cool i've always painted with music on in the background but this is taking it to another level! the painting looks great! It helps answer that question of where the heck do you look when attending orchestral performances.
