  • Damn, didn't know Mr. Rogers toked up!!! 1:23

  • HAHAHA 1 Dislike !!!

    420

  • Donate to Sensible Washington! Legalize It!

  • finally the truth is coming out

  • when was this documentary made?

  • @FelixLook Premiere Date: 02/28/2011

  • Who would have thought cancer has a self destruct button! It's a crime what they depriving citizens of medicinal or recreational

  • illegal plant , haha it just sounds funny. illegal nature

  • @Wetgeorge1 yeah, that´s what they are trying to do, make nature illegal...

  • that guy says 488 chemicals way too many times... still not mentioning the amount of chemicals in cigarettes... or the air you breathe in traffic... or the amount of chemicals in store bought food... yet the 488 chemicals in marijuana haven't caused a single death in history.

  • @CaptainDishman You nailed that! I'd rather smoke marijuana than eat GMO foods. Why constantly feed money into the medical industry when nature is our healer? Hippocrates said "Let they medicine by they food and thy food be thy medicine."

  • Why does Dr Voth keep harping on "smoking dope"? Some of the best pain relief that comes from the PLANT can be found in its oral ingestion. Who says you have to smoke anything? It's incredible that edibles and tinctures are not even mentioned. Leave people to their own liberties. I don't partake in cannabis but why does our government punish people for possessing a plant which hasn't killed a single person? EVER!! Yet you can go home and ingest all the bleach you want and not be arrested?

  • Thumbs up this comment if you're doing a bong right now.

  • Wait, stop...

Cannabis was used as a medicine 60+ years ago, someone sneaks in a law overtaxing/banning it by calling it "marijuana" and now, the big Pharma are patenting cannabinoids in order to circumvent the law banning the smoking of the original substance???

    What's... NO!

  • well done montanaPBS. I admire and agree with Dr Grinspoon and love how one of the most potent marihuana are named after him. Wish my own mother who suffers from chronic pain would take some but teaching her after all the ill information on being evil is impossible. Dr. grinspoon marihuana 25 percent on the thc counter xd

  • the person who disliked this video is most likely a brainwashed dea agent

  • way too much bullcrap in this video from the liars picked out by PBS to make MMJ sound bad.. there's a much better documentary at watch?v=8Md2WNqqxTQ

  • Grinspoon is dead on. Wider research won't just increase the likelihood of cannabis legalization, which really isn't the ultimate goal - it may quite possibly open doors to still better drugs than cannabinoids.

  • @toyouiwill seriously I'd rather invest in a vaporizer and the pill cost way to much and a vape saves you marijuana money.

  • hope that is legit, lol !

  • ukcia.org/research/psych-aspects.php

  • @xXAeon89Xx hope that is legit, lol !

  • @xXAeon89Xx i'll put it in the video description

  • 33:48 - And again with the "you're smoking dope, it has 488 substances in it"-argument. Why the fuck dont you mention one of those substances thats harmful u clown?!

  • What I see in this..... pharmaceutics cannot make money of it..... keep it illegal no matter what.

  • @deadsouls And of course the fact that it makes medicine made by pharmaceutical companies obsolete ;)

  • Kumar: I introduce you to my latest invention: THE SMOKELESS BONG!

a little later on in the plane on dropping the bong: passenger: "POISON GAS!!!"

  • If you smokin pot now, and want to realize your full potential.. in money, in relationships, in life??! You have to quit cold turkey, ditch your pot smokin friends, and move on in life.. If you love yourself, do it!! It will be a tough year or two after, even if you have to go alone. You won't regret it, and if you do after a couple years nothing good comes of it then go back to your old life. and leave the sucess to me

  • @ricktbdgc Are you saying this is what you did?

  • all that money came in only this year.. next year will be 100,000 or more

  • And its not liek I thought people were trying to bust me for smokin pot, I thought the poeple I was smokin with was trying to take me down, when in reality it was my own weakness to pot that was holding me back, and I had noone to blame but myself.. I still smoke from time to time but cant do it full time like I used to.. If I did i would have surely life a different life, maybe hurt someone or go to jail. I am an owner of my own construction business with over 50,000 in the bank not too bad

  • I actually tried to take on multiple relationships while smokin everyday and I nearly went crazy, with crazy thought happening.. paranoid thought like thinking that people were messing with my head and shit based on their actions.. Lets say if someone was being nice to me, I'd think they were trying to plot against me or somethin.. Now in a sober state of mind I realize it was bogus..

  • I find that if I keep to myself, not a whole lot going on in life, pot is GOOD. Help me relax and chill and not worry to much about work, relationships, family drama, etc. Having the stress of life lifted helps me to focus on my personal goals, and achievements. But if you have to deal with family, and girlfirends, and work associates regularly, pot is BAD. It definately reduces your ability to deal with multiple relationships at once, which can be essential to sucess at some point

  • i smoked pot for over 10 years straight.. pretty much from the age of 20 EVERY DAY until the age of 30... I am 32 now and havn't smoked for 2 years. I know everything about pot. Let me tell you one thing... Pot changes over time. If you smoke it when your 20, its not the same as when your 30. The reason? Well depends whats going on in your life at the time. When your young its no big deal seriously. When you get older its starts to mess you up bad.

  • I don't need a bureaucrat, politician, or government to tell me what i can or cannot eat or consume or digest when it comes to my health. studys within the medical community have produced evidence of the dangers of food products such as msg and aspertaime. the govt allows this to be sold and consumed yet take away your choice to natural vitamins and supplements. some would call this insanity. i call them hypocrits.

  • 30:18 : Yin and Yong?

  • the way the US government has handled marijuana is a joke.

  • eric voth, you motherfucker.i bet he's in it for the money.

  • 'smoking dope' no doctor..smoking the most natural medicine available to humans.

  • All I know about canabis as a user for 42 years, is that I can stop anytime I want ( when in countries where it's is strictly forbidden) Still healthy, healthier than most of my non user friends of the same age (61). Never have to use chemical medicines. Thank God for all that! I'm sure it's a blessing rather than a curse.

  • Yes its known for CBD to have an antipsychotic effect. That helps with seizures and anti psychosis, maybe some other things but cant remember anything.

  • 8:55 are you serious? *meth* is considered less dangerous than weed? youre joking... right?

  • @hrolvnir Methamphetamine is Schedule 2 in USA - Hemp is Schedule 1... so according to US-Schedule System Meth can be prescribed because it has medical value in contrast to cannabis!! United States Drug Scheduling System was put in place after Timothy Leary successfully convinced the U.S. Supreme Court to rule that drug prohibition unconstitutional in 1967... so they introduced the new Schedule System... it's all on Wikipedia - unlike the congress hearing of William Casey about CIA Cocaine-OPs.

  • @cannabismedresearch thats just.... unbelievable. weed never made someone teeth and hair fall out. ive seen documented cases of first-time meth users dying on the spot, but as far as I'm aware, there is yet to be a single documented case where marijuana caused the user to die. Im also curious, if the DEA can find medical uses for meth, why is there more literature about the medical use of marijuana? i mean, like 1000x more.

  • @cannabismedresearch However, marijuana is given to cancer patients? I dont see any medical meht..

  • @Cyworldabcd "medical meth" often comes in forms like ritalin which is methylphenidat - i don't know how often actual methamphetamine is prescribed in the US but it can be since it's schedule II - whereas marijuana can only be "recommended" in some states by a doctor... i think federal regulation is underway (cannabis science inc.) at least CBD on which the US government already owns a patent on for using it as antioxidant (like vitamins C and E, only better :)

  • 8:00 damn good question.

  • If it was addictive chemically like nicotine or caffiene then whenever you would stop using it for like a day or two you would get the same withdrawl symptoms like headaches and feeling sick, etc. but you dont. if someone is abusing it, its cause they chose to, whenever they will ultimately feel in their lives that they just need to stop, they can without an issue cold turkey

  • i think i'll watch this when I'm stoned...

  • Theres nothing wrong with pure naturally occurring cannabis, but the stuff you get off the street is so corrupted with chemicals and unnatural that it can in fact have serious negative side effects.

The reason there is no conclusive scientific study on cannabis is because the stuff you're smoking could be totally different to what anyone has studied.

  • @vegemitosis What about it it's organically grown. No man made nutrients.

  • @roll4lyfe96 Even so, cannabis for decades ,if not centuries, has been manipulated to the point that it at its purest form almost doesn't exist.

  • @vegemitosis Are you talking about strains? if so im ending this conversation. Strains today contain the exact same chemicals just in slightly higher amounts...

  • @roll4lyfe96 Its actually alot higher amounts now. Take it from a connoiseur, apparently wild cannabis strains have 3-5% thc content, now with engineered strains (not genetically engineered I think thats illegal still, but like intelligent breeding by us to increase the thc content, we see thc content up to 22%.

  • @redslzy and more THC means a more high for less smoking... the more THC the better... and best if you have another bud from a different strain that contains CBD - of course it is best to apply both of these Cannabinoids which unfortunately cannot be present in one strain altogether... an imbalance of only THC and almost no CBD is not very good but too much THC is not the problem at all

  • If I could go back in time and kill one person, it wouldn't be Hitler, it would be Harry J. Anslinger.

  • this is a revolution

  • i dont think Marijuana is addictive like heroin i use to treat my pain and depression with marijuana but not anymore, it is effective to treat pain =D

  • End the FDA

  • @MadXMax187 and the DEA while we're at it!

  • .....and if you see a 'doctor' wearing a white coat in an interview, embroidered with his own name. it usually means he's a tw*t.

  • 6:20 They have to try and kill you with radiation before they'll allow you to consume a naturally growing plant.

    How wonderful.

  • just look at the packet of any perscription drug and note the side effects, heart attack, stroke, death etc etc. No one will die from inhaling cannabis.

  • isnt the whole point of science be to constantantly disprooving established theories?

and yet you'll often hear sceptics of MJ refering to science like it's some kind of commandment written in stone...and yet the science actually does obviosly support MJ...go figure

  • Now I understand why I used to get sick very rarely ....

  • The current classification of drugs is absolutely ridiculous. Opium and cocaine are better than marijuana? Psh.

  • Comment removed

  • Just use a vaporizer instead of smoking.

  • This was a great program have a link on me site!

I am having a sale on Grow Buddy potency analysis test kit. The kit allows someone consuming or growing cannabis to discover what cannabinoids are in their marijuana. You can tell if it has CBD and in what relative levels! We all know CBD is NON-psychoactive and extremely therapeutic! Re-Discover the science behind cannabis with Montana Biotech!
