  • rock back and forth.. mmmmm.......

  • This video is usless I cannot fit by hands into my mouth!

  • As others have already mentioned, you flossing on the model

is very different than a person doing this on themselves. Look at the position of your one hand-it's inside the mouth, who can get their hand in their mouth to that degree. No wonder so many don't floss even though they know that they should. How about some product recommendations for devices that make this process easier?

  • Why don you get a real guy and show us on a real teeth

  • lol doing this will take ages damn first brush then floss then use moutwash like seriously its a PAIN!!!

  • Eating shredded bbq pork gets between yo teeth fool, and when you pick it out it gets

out all placky stuff, an added bonus is the bbq breath. go kiss your loved one!

  • This demonstration is not realist, look at the left hand of the gentlemen you cant possibly do that while flossing,

  • @PrinceNippy its floss then brush, u wanna floss first so that the fluoride in the toothpaste can reach between your teeth when you brush to help strengthen your enamil.

  • I'm not able to take my teeth and gums out and put them on the counter so this technique won't work for me.

  • @lilcrazyaznboy if I don't floss everyday my mouth gets really disgusting because i have braces.

  • @monica24b

Same with me although I don't have braces. I used to never floss and my mouth was gross all the time but I was used to it so I didn't realize how bad it was. Since I've been flossing my mouth has felt a lot better.

  • I bet nobody floss everyday..

  • @lilcrazyaznboy i do.

  • @monica24b Every single day? Wow.. My doctor told me to floss every other day.. But good for you.

  • swear to god i'm finding it impossible to floss my molars properly. hands have a hard time reaching there. if i didn't have cheeks it'll be soooo much easier...

  • @myboomstick

I use floss picks (made by a company called Dentek) theyre much easier than regular floss. I buy them at Walmart, costs like $3 for 150 count and I only use 2 each time I floss so it lasts a long time. Regular floss is still cheaper but I cant reach the back of my mouth.

  • Thanks for your clear video teaching. Your video will help people around the world have healthy gum.

  • i also have braces so my floss get stuck alot :C i wish i jsut have the metal line for braces

  • omg its so hard to reach my back teeths

  • @animeeb0y

    Use floss picks

  • Its impossible to form a backward C shape in the back molars becuase my hand is too big. Sigh.

  • it would be that easy....if it werent for things called CHEEKS!

  • The length of your forearm? Shit, no wonder I go thru so many packs. I pull enough out to go around the block. Penny saving tip. Thanks!

  • great video - thank you!

  • i hate this kind of floss i use the kind that have plastic handles but when i floss it smells like straight up shit idk why

  • omgosh tht is soo true..i get so disgusted..

  • very useful

    thank you

  • but is it necessary after doing the C to go up and down? can't i just goup and down once while pulling the floss forward and backward?

  • Is the floss suppose to go under your gums??

Cause when I floss it REALLY hurts!!!

  • it definitely shouldn't hurt.

  • continue flossing under the gumline regularly, and eventually it will become more resistant to the floss and your gums will become healthier.

I'm a first year hygiene student.

  • lol they have youtube vids for EVERY TING

  • An excellent video on flossing.

To be honest I'm not a very flossing person because it hurts me and I bleed, but that is because A. I don't floss regularly and B. I did it the wrong way o.o

So thank you for the video! I'll be flossing my teeth more :D

  • To bad we as humans can't take out our teeth to makes this easier.

    THANKS GOD!!

  • i found a cool tool that makes it easy to floss...check out brytonpick . com

  • if only i could fit my fist into my mouth.. le sigh..

  • lol yea

  • thankss this is very usefull but its hard to clean every single teeth

  • There are brushes that can clean between teeth but they are not for everyone. It depends on if there is enough space between your teeth for the brush to fit without damaging the gum tissue there. Floss is usually the best method for the majority of people. Its best to ask your dentist or dental hygienist which aides are best for your particular teeth!

  • ty, but it is a shame that my whole hand can't fit into my mouth. I find it hard flossing the molars personally.

  • Its best to ask your dental professional which flossing methods are best for you. Everyone's teeth are different. Enamel can be rebuilt. Sugar free chewing gum such as trident does not directly rebuild enamel. Rather, it stimulates saliva flow which contains minerals that will help rebuild enamel.

  • @thewisdomtoothsite Enamel can be rebuilt? Can you tell me more info on this please? A few of my teeth have inexplicably lost a lot of enamel and it really bothers me.

  • Use the Platypus Ortho Flosser. It is the absolutely best flossing device for braces.

  • they said if you floss you have a possibility of living longer and that help control heart disease.

that is why i floss everyday. and it feels good and clean. :)

  • how many times a day we have to do this, i brush my teeth twice a day morning after bed and before going to bed still i got a big cavity in my wisdom teeth and dentist removed it.

  • thanks

  • I have never flossed my teeth just brushed them and I am in my mid 20's.I have no hole,no cavity,no plaque...nothing.Having good teeth is 80% genetics.

  • no hole, no cavity, no plaque...on your teeth. but what about your gums? having good teeth may be genetics, but flossing is necessary to also prevent gingivitis, sooo...better start flossin!

  • I was the same as you until I was recently told I have periodontal disease. I'm also in my mid 20s. Floss!

  • Good video.

This should be sent to every junior school in the world. I wish I had seen this video when I was growing up.

I brush my teeth. Then I floss. Then I gargle with mouthwash, and then I spit the mouthwash out in a robust "pishhh" fashion. It usually disloges much of the remaining goop. Then I rebrush my teeth and leave the toothpasete on. I think this is a good way of brushing your teeth.

And now I know how to floss professionally!

    Thanks.

  • my wisdom teeth prevent me from flossing correctly. they have basically pushed my teeth too close.

i am suppose to get them (all four) removed.

  • Hi PrinceNippy, both methods ultimately remove plaque from all surfaces of your teeth so either will work.

  • very nice video the wisdom, i just learn azz load of info by watching this video =]

the hardest part was getting my fingers deep into the wisdom tooth, those are tough to reach and maneuver : (

  • oh ok, i have a bad cavitie in the back bottom right tooth, its from the inside..do i need a filling or a cap? are you a dentist?

  • doesn't that cut your gum?

  • You have to remember to use very gentle pressure at all times. Stop when you feel resistance from your gums.

  • thanks for info I recently began flossing about 2 days ago and I found this video very helpful

  • Haha cool
