Led Zep the most popular. The Beatles band of the 60's. Led Zep band of the 70's. Michael Jackson entertainer 80. Garth Brookes entertainer 90. In order of importance in rock n roll, The Beatles, The Stones, The Who, Led Zep.

The Who they have been active longer they were actaully more famous than the doors and they have more personality plus they had the best drummer keith moon (!946 - 1978) and the best bassist john entwistle (1944 - 2002) The who also were much louder and much aggressive and moon was halariouse.

The Who greatest live band.
